Absolutely delicious. Only got to take photos of the entrees and the main meals were delicious and filling. Wouldn't have any problem to eat here again. Would recommend for sure!! đź‘Ťđź‘Ťđź‘Ś

Before entering this restaurant, i never liked or had great impression about vietnamese good. But that got completely changed after having food from this restaurant. Supersized serving with mouth watering taste with complementary tea. All the food tasted yummy and cant ask for more. This wont burn a hole in your pocket. We had the best ever chichen and mushroom soup . Super tasty fried rice , great spicy beef noodles and combination stir fry noodles.

We remember the first time we visited Ballarat was 5 years ago and how good this place is. Yesterday we want back and it doesn’t disappoint! Thank you for warm yummy food. We also ordered the pan fried dumplings and prawn sesame toast. But too hungry to take a pork first 🤪 #bulgogi_n_rendang

Craving for some Asian cuisine and popped into this nice little place that opens till reasonable hours. Order beef pho, horfun, and chicken fried rice. Their portion is insanely huge so I think its really worth the price. Great food!

Average food but ridiculously messy arrangement. I went there with my husband and 2yo son at 5:10. They gave us table for 2 and said my son can sit in high chair and disappeared. Very dangerous and my son will definitely block the road. We found another waitress for help and she switched us to table for 6 but the high chair still not with us. We cleaned the table and then they asked us to move to another table of 4…. No one gave us menu and high chair. We helped ourselves and finally we placed our order and waited over half an hour to get our food. We ordered stir-fried combination with rice and beef pho. These are simple dishes, have no idea why it took so long. We asked for bean sprouts and lemon but they didn’t give us(other tables had that with pho). We had waited over 10 mins to pay our bill as too many take away orders and they mixed up the orders…..turned out I had been charged stir fried combination (17.5) instead of stir fried combination with rice (15.8)…. I found that out after getting back to my table but too many ppl waiting there and don’t want to argue for that. Such an awful experience! I DO NOT recommend this place at all. Their staffs kept arguing. If you go there do check your bills.

Absolutely delicious and well prepared meals! LOVED the vegetables! A wide range and so fresh! Loved the rice, the meats, the seafood - everything was 5 star... Ordered take-away Chinese foods and will be coming back here for Asian meals next time! Thank you!

Authentic delicious Vietnamese food. Food was soo tasty, any compliment would be an understatement. Portions were massive and price was pretty reasonable. Definitely must try!

I went there two years ago a couple of times. And today I went there again. Foods are always still delicious and so cheap with full dishes. I love Saigon’s Pancake!!! And the reason I went there was Saigon’s pancake that I couldn’t find from somewhere else!!

We had a fantastic meal here last night. My wife had the tofu laksa, and I had chicken fried rice. Really big servings and very tasty. The Pork spring rolls were absolutely delish. Would recommend and will be back.

Amazing food when we dined here. We were so happy to find this place. The rice noodle salad was super tasty and the won tons were super juicy.

Our favourite meal in ballarat - sliced beef pho, crispy chicken on tomato rice, and spring rolls. Service can be variable but we don’t mind that. Cheap - good value for Asian meals! Most of the time our food arrives rather quickly.

Delicious. Still dreaming about the food. Can't wait to go back. Service was great as we had to make a movie around the corner. Highly recommend.

Always a great beef bun bo xao to be had here. Service is mixed, ranging from attentive and quick and friendly to highly problematic on weekend evenings. One Saturday night was a complete shambles. We waited ages to have our orders taken, and four requests for water went completely ignored. Other customers seemed disgruntled too and everyone seemed to wait an age for their meals. Usually though, we eat here at lunch and have few problems. Best avoided at the busiest times! Good food, good prices, generous serves.

First time here for a friends birthday. Really enjoyed our food especially the authentic Vietnamese Springs rolls will definitely return for these. My partner LOVED the Salt & Pepper fish and my Chicken Green Curry had a kick to it with lovely moist chicken and crispy veg. We chose well I think but the menu is extensive and the rest of our party weren’t disappointed either. Friendly staff a bit short handed on our night so meals a bit slower to arrive than usual and they apologized for this. Can highly recommend for an authentic taste of Vietnam.

We've eaten here several times over the past 2 years and enjoyed it each time. The portions are really large - a shared starter plus main each is more than enough for two. The noodle soup dishes are flavoursome, and there is always a good variety of veggies in the stir fry dishes which I love. Service can be a bit slow when it's busy, but have never had a bad experience here. It's cash only which is a bit inconvenient - would be good to have it noted on the menu rather than at the till when you go to pay.

Great food, large portion sizes and quick service. Staff were flexible and went the extra mile to provide a great experience - highly recommend.

Had a terrible experience tonight. I felt that I need to share my experience. Service was slow. Ordered the popular grilled pork chop rice and it took >30min before I had to 'hassle' the kitchen as my child was getting extremely hungry. The restaurant was not even 25% full.

Inconsistent food quality. We ordered 3 serves of grilled pork chop rice. 1 appeared extremely pale and not chargrilled. Talked to the kitchen, but they refused to make a new one for us. Guess what, the pork was not cooked.

At the end, we just had to filled our tummy and left in disgust. I hope this restaurant will improve in the future but I am definitely not coming back.

This restaurant is deplorable! The food is disgusting and I would comment on the service had we received any! We seated ourselves after waiting at the door for several minutes! We had to get our own menus at the back counter! We had to go to the counter again to get one of the useless staff to take our order! While we were waiting, two nearby tables filled with customers who happen to be of asian decent. We were amazed at how differently these new customers were treated! They were greeted and seated with big smiles! They were offered menus immediately and were all served green tea! They ordered a good 15 minutes after we had ordered, but their food came out, all at once at least 10 minutes before ours! When our food eventually came, one of our meals didn't arrive. I went to the counter after a few minutes more of waiting, and they had forgotten the meal. I have never experienced racism before in Australia, but this place truly demonstrated it to us in a big way! We will never set foot in here again! The place is cash only, unlicensed, expensive for the crap they serve up, and a disgrace!

We always spend a week in the lovely town of ballarat each year . We usually look forward to eating at this restaurant several times in the week. This year is no different , unfortunately the food seems to have gone down hill. Vietnamese ice coffee wasn't as strong and was watered down a lot. Waiters didn't know there menu, the betal leaf rolls weren't as good, noodle soup flavour wasn't there. Fried chicken should have been served with there home made fish sauce not sweet chilli sauce from a jar. Where have the original owners gone ? The news article is still on the front window with there faces . Maybe they were the heart and soul of the restaurant. Without them the food isn't as great .

Delish and affordable food at Saigon noodle house! I always go for their vermicelli bowls which are huge in size, and really tasty.

Service has seriously improved since earlier visits last year, and is efficient and friendly!

Highly recommended it for a good meal
Quality! It Shouldnt Be That Hard! Love A Wonderful Mouth Full Of Wholesome FOOD!
There service is very good here very fast and on point. Very modern restaurant. The prawn toast didn't have much prawn at all that was a let down.
The chicken pho had a lot of flavour I asked for extra chicken less noodles. The chicken was nice some pieces a little dry. Over all not bad

So nice that there is a place in Ballarat that does authentic Phở. The thing that really impressed me is they use good quality sliced beef, as many places use horrible, chewy stuff. All ingredients were fresh and delicious from what I had. Lovely chilli, beansprouts, basil leaves, spring onions etc. This will definitely be my go-to place on many weekends. If you've never had good Phở, order number 35 and enjoy the flavours.

We always keep on coming back to this place. Foods are really sumptuous. My kid always order the same food which is chicken with tomato rice (my son's favorite). Only that, you should always carry some cash with you as to they don't accept eftpos/card payments.

Staying in a hotel room we had to eat out but having spent quite a bit at Fu Man Lou the night before we decided to eat here on the Sunday night because it is so reasonably priced. We did the 4 person banquet for like $75 and took our bottle of wine. The mixed spring rolls were full of flavour the mains were huge and consisted of a really tasty
satay chicken with lots of veggies and tender chicken, delicious sweet and sour pork, yummy honey pepper beef and a really good fried rice. The service was good and the food really good, especially for the price so suggest you give it a try.

Ordered seafood noodle soup. Good flavour broth but it was too salty, had fishcakes and crab sticks which are cheap and not particularly healthy or traditional but it did have prawns and tender squid. Plenty of vegetables and nice tasty noodles, so overall, not bad for the price. Lemon chicken was disappointing. Battered chicken covered in an unnatural yellow sticky sauce, doesn't taste of fresh lemons. Came with only rice, no vegetables or greens which means not a complete meal. Wouldn't order this dish again. Service was friendly but food did come out in different times. I had to wait over 10-15 minutes before the rest of the order came as they served a table who ordered after us. Very odd in how they cook orders. A mixed review, not terrible but not completely satisfied either. Depends on what you order and when you order.

This place started out so great! Clean, fresh with honest staff who were forgiven for their lacklustre service due to the how busy they were. Unfortunately, the service has not improved and sadly the decline in the quality of food is obvious. Ingredients in meals are often missing and orders are rarely complete. Sigh...
This restaurant that hasn't been open for long now looks as tired as the staff. A tremendous fall from former grace.

Vietnamese food is getting a bad reputation in Ballarat, and Saigon Vietnam Noodle House isn't helping the cause. Whilst the service is friendly, the food is just woeful. The rice paper rolls are bland, the soup tastes like Maggie chicken noodle flavouring and suffers a distinct paucity of noodles.
It is possible that this establishment is associated with the Ballarat Vietnamese Noodle House on Lydiard Street, as both outlets feature similarly bland and unsatisfying meals.
If you're craving decent Vietnamese have some self respect and go to Springvale; Ballarat's options disappoint once again.

Tried this out tonight with three friends . Staff were rude and hard to get service from. Food was enjoyed by my friends . I however didn't receive my meal so I'm unable to rate my food! 15 minutes after the other meals arrived we asked if it was still to come. They looked confused but said they would bring it out. Another 15 minutes lapsed. Everyone was done eating and I asked them to make it up to take away. Once again they were very vague. Still they offered neither explanation nor apology. By this point I was very frustrated. We lined up to pay and I asked if I was still expected to pay for a meal I was never served. Of course this was the case . I agreed to - but had to take time to explain that generally a little more communication and perhaps an apology would be appreciated. This notion seemed all but lost on him. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who is hungry or lacking in patience !

I tried this place with my father twice , and still I'm not a fan ! I will be going to the one on lydiard street near the Ballarat info centre.
