Small pub with lots of charm. Make sure you book in for dinner as she gets full fast. Staff are very friendly.
Old English meals are the feature.... So tasty. The friendliest and most knowledgeable staff. A great warm cosy atmosphere in the winter. Table service and restaurant dining at Pub prices. 5 stars 🌟 and then some.
This pub is more a meal/restaurant venue than it is an actual pub - nowhere to sit at the bar and chat to locals though there is a great beer garden/smokers area out the back with a warm fire. The pub it’s self is warm, very typically British and has lots of interesting things to look at around the
Awesome little country pub. We went here with a group of 9 for dinner on a Saturday night and although they where incredibly busy it was a brilliant experience.
All 9 of us left completely satisfied with the quality of the meals and service, so much so that we will almost certainly be back next tim
I had a tandoori chicken pizza & it was disgusting. It was basically plain chicken pieces with some kind of tandoori sauce (that tasted sweet) all over it & then cheese on top.
The topping was liquid & was not nice at all.
But hey, at least the beer was cold... 😔
Great place for a get together. Private rooms for dining. Food was delicious.
Exceptional pub. Don't be fooled by the facade the decor inside is cosy and fun. The food is delicious and the customer service was fantastic, the staff were extremely accomodating to our young daughter. Highly recommended.
