Great little pub . Service was ok . Wouldn't rush back .

Very cosy pub with good food and service. Our family had our night out, everyone happy with our meals and time spent together . I ordered a roasted veggies lasagna that was so light and tasty, it inspired me to try my own during the week

Came here for the first time and it wasn’t great. I don’t ever write reviews but the food was very bland and didn’t have any flavour, and it is priced for the quality. The staff are really nice and the atmosphere is good but wouldn’t come back for the food.

Great meal and service. Staff very welcoming and nothing was a bother to them. Well worth going back to.

Good are fresh and nice . I ordered the fish and chips. The outstanding part is the vegatables coming with it. The vegatables are fresh and sweet. It adds great feel for the dish that I ordered. My wife had same feel with her dish

Lovely food. A bit of a wait for the food however there were 11 of us and it was busy. The staff were friendly and nice!

Delicious meals, quick service, cosy atmosphere on a typically cold Ballarat evening, full bar and dining room, all reasonably priced. Will be back for sure.

Staff were great atmosphere was good food was good veggies could of been cooked bit more steak was good garlic and cheese bread of good parmi was ok

We were amazed out how good our steak sandwich’s were. We will definitely be back!!!!

100% get the pork belly!! Not normally a fan of here but due to family gathering and an order muck up (not their fault) I ended up with pork belly... I had been recommended it before but not normally a fan of pork belly.... It was fantastic!!!! Have convinced a lot of others to now get it and no one has been disappointed! And only $18.50! AMAZING!

Needs Improvement Badly!. Arrived at the pub and waited almost ten minutes to be spoken to. Wasn't very impressed. When finally spoken to the older man (who i'm assuming is the owner) told us to take a seat. When ordering our food, we asked for a item on the menu and was quite rudely told that it was no longer available. I understand that sometimes the stock is just not there, but the man almost yelled at us for trying to order it. Was a bit confused about that... Furthermore when the food finally came after 45mins the garlic bread was burnt and cut crudely. My husband had a piece of fish stuck to his chicken parma and his chips were unsalted. Overall not impressed with the food or service tonight, which is quite disappointing because we heard good things. <br/><br/>In the future this business should really work on the cleanliness and quality of their food and aim to improve their customer service and welcoming practices.

Worst service ever. Waited too long to be served (even though standing at the counter), ignored, asked to move tables despite saying there were no standing bookings, food took forever and some of the meal was incorrect. Food was bland at best.<br/>Poor effort!

Wonderful Parmas on Wed night for $13.50 with a plate of veg and chips and it's so yummy..we go there nearly every week..15/10

This place doesn't look flash nor is the menu full of fancy sounding dishes. Just fantastic fresh food cooked wonderfully. Great food great value :)

Good pub food in a nice little pub..

Venture off the main street for a real meal. Each generously proportioned plate to come out of the kitchen was well received. Thumbs up especially for the fish and chips, chicken parma and the towering burger. The lamb rack was cooked just right. I recommend skipping lunch in preparation for a meal at the grapes. There is no childrens menu, but the friendly staff will help accommodate them. Ours shared a pasta. I'd go back before trying anything eslse we looked at first (and didn't have tables available!).
