Review Mr Jones Dining - Ballarat

Foodie Mare
$95 for 9 absolutely exciting, fresh and surprising courses. I mean...what a journey. Tonight we enjoyed a beautiful exploration of fish, fresh coconut in all it's splendour and many other inventive ingredients. So clever and utterly delicious. The atmosphere of this restaurant is sophisticated, warm, colourful and comfortable- so very inviting. The staff were very hospitable and efficient, kudos to you all. I will remember this meal for the rest of my life 🙏❤️

We had an elegant experience last night fir my 50th birthday. We chose the banquet and had the extra options of the oysters and truffle custard. Every course of the food presentation, delicious flavour exploration and cocktails and wine was an experience that we all felt was mesmerising. Unfortunately we did not get our waiters name, but he was so attentive, funny and knowledgeable of the food and wine pairing. This was our second time here where we brought our family to show off this beautiful restaurant. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their experience.

As a chef myself, I gave them 10 out of 10. Nice wine list, fresh and qulity food, nicely cooked, well presented... Service was great as well. Highly recommanded.

Great food and service, fantastic vegan menu. Eaten here a few times and there has always been something different on offer. Superb local restaurant.

Absolutely enjoyed our dinner at Mr Jones, beautiful restaurant with a modern and striking interior. The menu was so simply delicious, I was impressed immediately from our starters which included savoury coconut pancakes, betel leaves, to the mains and our trio of desserts. I also had their espresso martini which had a Vietnamese take on it - so good. We also brought home their chilli oil which is simply T out to the staff, all of them are absolute gems

The only thing better than the food was the hospitality service that we received. Personal food favourites were the cholcate cake with mandarin sorbet and the grilled calamari. A must try for anyone looking for fine dining, or Asian fusion, or both!

Set menu was absolute garbage if they are set menus it should not compile of just seafood and raw beef. customers should be able to see the set menu before booking waste of $250
