Amazing pub food and super friendly staff. You can definitely tell the owner is chef with the level of meals coming out from the kitchen. They were very accommodating when I asked to swap the potatoes, finally a chicken breast that was NOT dry but juicy and delicious.

Very friendly staff, great food and service. If you like Calamari, this is the place, we had the Salt & Pepper and the 🌶 Chili variations. Both were cooked perfectly with good salads. Also good selection of tap beers, will definitely be back.

Nice place around the corner. Staffs are friendly, food are fresh and delicious. If you are not hungry, kids menu is enough for you. We definitely will go in next time.

We are new living here in Soldiers Hill. This Hotel is a few minutes walk away from our home. Sam the manager & chef made us feel so welcome. We only had a beer & chips. Listened to some acoustic live music & made some new local friends. We will definitely be back to have a meal, another beer & chat with the locals. This Hotel really is a gem. Friendly staff, spotlessly clean everywhere & toilets really clean. Can’t wait to have a meal here. Definitely our new friendly local Hotel where everyone has time to have a chat. Thanks Sam for welcoming us so warmly 🙏

Thursday is steak night... nice ! The steak was a nice thick 250g Porterhouse, cooked beautifully medium rare as asked. It had a nice crust with a smokey char flavor. I ordered it with the garlic sauce, which came in a small jug and was quite nice. The chips were plentiful and lovely and crunchy and again cooked well, seasoned with sea salt. The salad consisted of various leaves of lettuce and baby spinach, finely julienned carrot, red oinion, tomato, red capsicum and cucumber all dressed in a sweet and slightly tangy mustard seed dressing which went well with my steak. Presentation was very good, on both plates. My wife ordered the vegetables with her steak with a mushroom gravy which she also thoughly enjoyed and were cooked well. All in all a good solid meal and value. The staff where attentive and the meal came out timely even though the restaurant was near full. Many thanks for our enjoyable meals :)

Terrible terrible experience! Service was barely none exsistant to concerned about what was going on, on the other side of the hotel rather then the resturant! Our waitress didn’t know half the menu.. pot pie & sweet potatoe burger (for the vegan) wasnt avalible! Chicken Parma smelt off! Wasn’t a great experience at all
