Been here multiple times now. Food is always great, staff are always friendly. Place is dog friendly and the people are always so nice. I had the B.L.A.T Veggie with a banana milkshake. My partner had the eggs on toast with a hash brown and a coffee milkshake. We both enjoyed our meals.

What a wonderful location! Right across from the lake and beautiful building. Lots of inside and outdoor tables. The staff were friendly and were doing their best but were overwhelmed by the amount of people. They forgot one of our orders but made it up with a refund. Maybe because there was a concert the night before or just the fine weather.
We waited over an hour for our meals which were average. They looked slapped together with lack of attention to detail and flavour. Eggs cooked too much. No garnish or presentation or just poorly prepared. Shame as they were trying their best.
I will go back for another try sometime when it’s a bit quieter.

Very warm and inviting inside, staff members are friendly and helpful.
We ordered the Butter Chicken Curry, very good portions, and very tasty. Also a homemade Sausage Roll, plenty of filling. I ordered the Frittata Slice, served with salad, delicious.
We ordered hot chocolates, choc milkshake and a coffee.
Samia makes a cracking coffee.
Very highly recommend a visit, you can also sit outside and view the Lake.

First time here. Very impressed! We were hot and tired and this was just what we needed. Our coffee and iced coffee was great. We had a generous piece of mixed nut tart each, which was so nice. The service was prompt and friendly and the ambience quiet and relaxing. A new favourite!

One of the greatest cafes in Ballarat to sit outside with, especially if it's perfect weather with a warm breeze. My Mum and 5 year old enjoyed iced drinks and the small playground afterwards which is just across the road. It is a really pretty, and colourful cafe across the stunning lake. Wheelchair access. Love it!

No need to Google for reviews about where to eat. This is the best cafe around Lake Wendouree, hands down. The food is good. It's dog friendly. And the staff are genuine, friendly and caring. Very glad we stopped here and we will definitely be back.

The carrot cake there would have been one of the best I have had from any other coffee shop. 10/10

Below average breakfast, portion size was small compared to other places in Ballarat, and came out cold. Coffee was poor too, so weak and, again, not hot. In their defence they were moderately busy but still, so are other places on weekends. Won't be going back in a hurry. Sorry to be negative but real feedback probably more useful for you.

Do yourself a favour and coffee at Racers . Adam & the team service is always spot on and the coffees always hot ! The smashed avocado with pomegranate is to die for one of the best breakfasts in Ballarat.Kids are well catered for as well. Love the new renovations and atmosphere. Racers loving it !

Lunch was quite tasty however the Souvalaki was undersized and over priced. The omelette portion size was very small considering the price.
We won't be going back in the near future.

Delicious Tandoori chicken wrap with accompanying crisp salad, wonderfully hot cappuccino and latte, scrumptious Monte Carlo biscuit ... and all served with charm by your lovely waitress from Brazil. Absolute winner and the perfect way to end our last day in beautiful Ballarat. Highly recommended. And the proximity to Lake Wendouree was the icing on the cake.

After an early start at St Johns this morning we had breakfast at Racers. My husband and I both thoroughly enjoyed our poached and fried eggs. The bacon was amazing and I meant to ask our lovely waitresses where it came from because I would love to buy some. Service was excellent.

We went for lunch. The place was beautiful and the staff were friendly. I ordered chili lime dumplings with crispy noodle salad and my husband lamb souvlaki. My dumplings were gluey and tasteless, the salad had a nice flavour but quite a few of the crispy noodles were so hard that I almost broke a tooth, my husbands lamb was very tough and lacked flavour. Our bill including average coffe and ice coffe was over $50. Very disappointing
