Review Billy's Lakeside - Ballarat

Decent coffee and service but late afternoon with barely a soul made the over large interior feel somewhat like I'd lost my way. Given the size of the place which also doubles as a restaurant it is difficult to envisage them turning a profit long-term. Will update once I've eaten here but my feeling is as a coffee option there are better options nearby. Still worth a look to try for yourself.

Awesome pizza pasta and burgers. The staff were also awesome. 1 star reduction due to NO GARLIC BREAD! I recommend the chef get some garlic bread onto the menu. The wait staff are exhausted by people asking for it and having to explain that it's not on the menu. It's the only fault and it would make me think twice about how badly I wanted their pizza in the future.

Went during a quieter time of day, and ther staff were more interested in their conversation than serving me. I think they do table service but forgot about me so I had to go up and order at the counter. No apology. Food was good but again, I heard the kitchen ding the bell 4 or 5 times before one of ther girls collected it.

Been here quite a few times since opening and can't fault anything, each time my partner and I have eaten we couldn't fault anything. They have a new dinner menu which is to die for! I highly reccomend the mussels as an entree, great portion for the price. My partner had the porterhouse which was cooked exactly how he wanted it & I loved the mussels so much I got the prawn and mussel linguini as a main.

Nice bistro/cafe at stockland shopping center. Lots of ok seating, good wine section. Good selection of cakes and slices, not flash but well presented basic but tasty menu, we had special food requirements that the staff and chef happily prepared for us, regular special and fairly priced for menu of burgers, salads, schnitzel and pasta. Great coffee and as your seated a bottle of water and glasses presented. Pretty good for family shopping center foodery.

Wendouree new restaurant is fantastic with a great menu for breakfast lunch and dinner. We tried the new steaks on the menu. They served a eye fillet for only $25 with chips and salad the missus had the fish of the day. All in a great service great food five stars.

Friendly staff. A colouring activity for the kids and good babycinos! The coffee was hot and there was a small selection of yummy gluten free cakes. Prices reasonable for what you get.

Delicious and consistent food; having visited a couple of times already. Would definitely recommend eating here with friends anytime of the day. Such a good atmosphere and friendly staff.
