One of the tastiest Indian cuisine I have ever had. Loved the chicken tikka in cream the most! All dishes are priced right. Highly recommended!

Made the best Indian food I've tasted.. The service was good and the waitress had great care for us patrons. There seemed to be pride in ensuring professionalism with us patrons. It seems like a friendly oriented business with very reasonable priced meals. Our Desi Travels Staff loved your food

Tried their paneer butter masala and Aloo kulcha Thali and I was taken back to India. Must try, paaji serving the food is quite desi and humourous. Maza aa gaya!

Had dinner here today and it was delicious. Chef made dishes as per our request. Better value for money. Highly recommend! I will definitely come back :)

Yesterday, my friends and I went to this restaurant because it had 4.4 stars on Google. We were very hungry and waited about 45 minutes for food, and the food, particularly the vegetarian Paneer and Malai kofta with Garlic Naan, didn't even taste like normal. However, after paying the bill, the person at the counter was ready to take any feedback and rudely told us that we were the first to say something like this. I mean, we paid $150 and were treated like we were getting food for free. I recommend that management cook better and improve the customer experience.

Poor service , waited with kids for 45 mins to get started serving ours. They would have told us it’s going take time so we would have opted some other restaurants. Taste is also not good compare to Melbourne restaurant.

Although the curry was overpriced, the 2 curries we ordered was not as flavourful as expected. The coconut rice wasn’t not even coconut flavoured hahaha lol, and we had to return it😭. the other rice had no salt at all

We had Chicken Biryani, and that was amazing. As we are from hyderabad, and this biryani met our expectations. Staff was too Good. Taste was amazing too. Just loved it.

Amazing food, a great selection of options for allergies and intolerances. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options are all marked on the menu. Very kid friendly and willing to make suggestions and recommendations for children. The staff were very helpful although not incredibly attentive, considering we were the only patrons in the restaurant. Would definitely recommend, however if you are after a restaurant with ambience this is probably not for you. It may not have ambience but it is authentic. Loved it.

Fabulous. We had a delicious butter chicken, packed with flavour, tender chicken and loads of it too, as well as a very generous serve of garlic nann. I would definitely recommend Tandoor Indian for a very satisfying meal.

Sumptuous food with smiling service.. The Chef provides food to customised taste - they will make your selection as mild or as hot as you like. The value for money is very good, and the serving sizes were plentiful.

I ordered take-away, one large rice and two main meals: Chicken Korma for my son, and for myself, as I am on a diet that requires little or no fat, they recommended Dal Chicken. The lady who took my order was warm and friendly, taking time to explain and suggest suitable dishes.

While I was waiting, I was pleasantly surprised when the same lady who took my order, bought out some complimentary flat bread: ‘Alu Pratha’, which she explained is wholemeal bread with potato, onion, and spices. This was a nice gesture, and tasted delicious.

I always thought that ‘Dal’ was traditionally a lentil side dish, often the accompaniment for curry. I would normally have not selected ‘Dal Chicken’, and only did so upon recommendation. Here, where the Chef has combined dal with the chicken, it moves from the side of the plate to its center. The dish was absolutely scrumptious, with the chicken seeming to melt in the mouth and cooked to perfection.

I would recommend this place to every one.

I have been here a few times with my wife. I have eaten at Indian restaurants interstate and and internationally and the food here is on par with the best I have had. Only negative is the very simple venue, but if you can look past that you are in for a treat. Service is very friendly. Cheap too.

Some of the best curry to be had in Ballarat, Indian Cuisine offers a great range of menu items, and a spectacular lunch special! $10 for rice, roti, a drink and good samples of curry.

The service is friendly and fast, well worth a try!

One of the worst experience I had in a restaurant. The curries were not having their taste. Service was pathetic. Wait time was too much that too when only 2 tables were occupied. I strongly recommend not to go there....

Great Curry Lunch Special. Whenever I'm in the mood for a curry for lunch, I typically hit up this place. The owner and staff are really friendly and the curry itself is authentic and flavoursome, At the moment they frequently have a $10 lunch special which gives you three decent sample serves of the restaurant's curry, some Raita or chutney, a drink and a Nan bread.

Sometimes there is a bit of a long wait (20 mins max) despite lack of customers, but the food served is very fresh, delicious, consistent and and this can be forgiven. I definitely recommend the lunch special for first-timers.

Best Indian you can get. Just try it.

Delicious food, excellent value. Only found this place 2 weeks ago, already eaten here twice. As a relatively new resident in ballarat, moved from geelong, i have struggled to find an Indian restaurant, as good as khan curry hut in Geelong, this is as good and a lot cheaper! My partner and i just had a lovely lamb rogan josh and chicken korma, with rice, garlic naan and a couple of beers all for $40; exceptional value for money. Will be back soon.
