So salty! Like so incredibly salty I couldn’t finish my meal. Ordered the beef stroganoff and there was maybe 3 tiny pieces of beef and half a mushroom. Basically just paid $17 for salty sauce…. I’m a bit disappointed.

First time ordered pork sweet and sour very nice so next visit ordered same . In a family pack had one piece of pork as big as a fingernail. Rang to tell them but got the standard answer sorry about that.. .

Second time ordering Beef Stroganoff and it had maybe three pieces of meat in it and one mushroom both times. It is just overpriced sauce.

Two starts given for the good information provided when i needed to call about a dish. Unfortunately the food wasn't great.. The butter chicken did just taste like a stew, it said an aussie take on the dish but didn't specify that it was very stew-like. That being said, it was edible and hearty. The mash potato however was not. It tasted like it was cooked in a burnt pot but the burnt flavour wasn't your average known taste. I compared it with family and we all agreed it tasted like the smell of an ash tray. No one would eat more than a spoon of it. The banana pudding tasted nice but was comparable to banana bread cubes in custard. I'd eat the stew again but i wouldn't purchase it for myself. That's about as good as this review gets unfortunately. I feel sad posting it but it wasn't a great experience. The phone call to them was nice tho so i tried to give stars for that.

Great food, as well as plenty of gluten free options. The beef stroganoff is amazing. They are a life saver as someone who works shift work! Wish they were open Saturdays though 😊

Beef stroganoff had 3 bits of beef in it (not the best when just starting out) and was very salty. My partner ended up eating something else. Won’t go back, but ate it all regardless

Country casseroles are great. The food is top notch country style traditional Aussie cooking (mostly, they do a great chickpea curry) and the customer service is exemplary. I have been ordering instore and was impressed by the staff's adherence to covid restrictions. I've also ordered delivery and they are kind people, offering to attach a note and balloon to a birthday order. 5 stars.

Tried country casserole for the first time and definitely won’t be the last. We had the beef stroganoff with scalloped potatoes and absolutely beautiful. The taste was awesome and the serving size was more than enough with the bonubeing leftovers the next day. We will definitely be back to try something else and will be getting a dessert as well as they looked amazing.

My husbands 70th went off with a huge success thanks to Ian and his wonderful casseroles, no fuss for me and a beautiful meal for everyone present, stroganoff was a huge hit. Think I've converted quite a few of our guests to come visit the casserole shop and have a taste to buy. I'm a fan big time!! Cheers and many thanks to Ian and Trish. Kaye O'Donovan.

I got a mixed box of mash potatoes and curried sausages $12, great value, more than I could eat, found it very salty however..

Just finished your Country Chicken casserole ..... absolutely delicious. Hubby is now demolishing an indulgent slice of Chocolate 'Brownie', and making all the satisfied noises of a man who has had his taste buds well and truly spoilt. Excellent service delicious home styled food and lovely staff. You've created and catered to a niche market and done it beautifully.

I have to admit this place is convenient... But don't feel they have the taste of 'home made' ... Tastes very processed and under the impression that a lot is frozen and reheated which u don't expect. I have experienced them microwaving mash potato (and over doing the microwaving too). I wouldn't recommend it... But it lazy and don't want to go with the standard takeaway then I suppose this will do!

Good home style food. Severely overpriced for what it is though would do much better if they dropped prices about 25%. Ballarat requires reasonably priced food that is not the usual take away and burgers . .this could be the answer if they could sell meals sub $10.

Good but not great.. I get food from here when I'm too lazy to cook and just want to grab some food and go. The lasagna and the scalloped potatoes are nice. Some curries and the beef stroganoff are good too.
