Review Sebastopol Noodle Bar - Ballarat

Adam Bound
Literally a bowl of noodles and sauce. About 7 pieces of chicken and 2 pieces of broccoli and a handful of carrot. With a BOWL full of noodles and sauce. For $13.50. What a rip! I might have come 20 minutes before close, but if you don't want people there at 8:40, close when you don't want people in. Wish I hadn't wasted my money. Lousy place. Don't waste your money. Edit: I was wrong 3 pieces of broccoli, how generous 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Full disclosure, this place looks a little dodgy from the outside, but the food is great! Hot and fresh and tastes delicious. Also the guy working behind the counter taking our order was super friendly! Would definitely go back.

Always have a good feed from here. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious.

I ordered curry chicken and a side of rice. They are good sizes but I asked for curry chicken not vegetables in water with a few cubes of chicken. The veg in the broth looks almost expired (off) and tastes terrible. I don't recommend this place if you enjoy having lots of meat in your food or meat at all. I am disappointed and won't be purchasing from here again. (I added a picture of the food with all the old veg which you can see on the edges is gross. In the pictures)

Black Bean Beef was awful. Stringy beef, chemical tasting veggies, sauce tasted like Vegemite. Fried rice wasnt much better. To quote another review "I hate Sebastopol Noodle Bar."

Great tasting food for a great price. Meals are delicious and they deliver for free when you spend a certain amount which is great for those lazy nights when you can't be bothered. Really quick service and I do recommend their Pad Thai. It is amazing.

Great Asian fast food in a hurry. Typical Asian menu that you can alter to suit your own tastes you only need ask. The end product was served up nice and hot in take away disposable containers as I requested take away. By the time I got home the food was still hot and a touch of additional flavor from my supply at home provided a tasty meal.

Terrible!!! DON’T WAIST YOUR MONEY The wontons were under cooked, I asked for no onions and I got onions so my youngest couldn’t east any of it. There were tiny bits of chicken in the satay chicken and there was hardly any sauce. The same goes for Mongolian beef, however the sauce was runny and dark not a Mongolian sauce. Four bits of beef. The honey chicken was bland and the chicken chewy. Waist of money and it’s even more annoying because it’s not cheap. I was going to get it delivered however they increase the prices by $4-6 on each item and then charge an uber or Menulog fee.
