Maharaja's Indian Cuisine - Balmain - Photo album

I get takeaway there once a week after work. Service is great and the food even better. Cooked fresh all the time.
Balu is an amazing chef. The dishes are all tasty and delicious and always served with a smile and a friendly chat. I will miss popping into Maharaja's Indian Cuisine for lunch or even just a quick hello as I walk pass to continue my day. I wish Balu and his team all the best as they continue servin
Food is tasty and always good value. I can't get enough of their Lamb and Potato Masala and their Biriyani is pretty good too. Balu (the owner) is always there with a smile so I can't fault them on service either. Easily my go to Indian takeaway on the Peninsula.
Excellent! The Garlic & Cheese Naan is the best I have ever tried in my life, and I lived in India so what does that tell you. Well-priced, delicious curries, great samosa. I love this place, couldn't recommend more for an easy lunch or dinner!
The curry is always amazing and fresh! Friendly service. Has not let us down - we work at the hospital and get this at least once a week! Would recommend the chicken madras and the eggplant curry.
My partner and I love to come here for a casual and delicious experience. We are both vegetarian and can highly recommend the vego curries! My particular favourite is the eggplant masala and the chickpeas. My partner loves the dhal. Chef Balu is a great and inviting host. Great for takeaway or a qui
I discovered Maharaja's a few months ago when I returned from a trip to India and was looking for good Indian food. The owner is very friendly and makes delicious, authentic food. The naan is amazing and cooked fresh to order, the prices are very reasonable for Indian food in Sydney.
Really friendly hospitality. Mild style curries catering to local tastes. Great idea for quick convenient takeaway but dining in also possible. You won't go wrong ordering the butter chicken. Have the Beef Vindaloo if you like a gentle kick of spice.
