Been wanting to try this place since it's only next door but it's a bit pricy so waited for special occasion.
Ordered Duck risotto and I loved it! Duck was cooked perfect, crispy skin and juicy inside. The only thing they could improve is the portion, it was over 32 dollars for that dish and I left hungry... Risotto was like less than my fist size..
Pretty good local restaurant, they are not afraid to put exotic pizza on the menu. Very friendly staff. Even happy to sell me some coffee beans to help me. Will go back for sure.
Delicious and creative dishes and very friendly service. I highly recommend the tuna pizza (award winning) and the duck okonomiyaki sushizza - it is a temporary special so get in quick
We’ve been to Augello’s about half a dozen times. We love it there! The service is always very friendly from the hostess to those who wait on us. We particularly like Thomas who often serves us. He has a lovely manner with clients. The decor is modern but subtle and the menu is modern and tasty. We definitely recommend it as it’s a favourite place for us.
Fantastic and attentive service. We ordered the antipasto, cacciatore fettuccine and the signature hot smoked salmon pizza. The kids enjoyed the ham and pineapple pizza and the penne bolognese. Nice ambience too. Very kid friendly restaurants with colouring activities and textas for the kids. Would recommend!
Gr8 local eatery, close 2 Palace Balwyn. Friendly & efficient waiting staff; delicious food & a good selection of alcoholic drinks. Wld recommend 4 catching up w family & friends. 😊👌👏
My friends highly recommended Augello before, so we visited this place together on a Sunday night. We didn’t make an appointment, it seems most tables have been booked. Luckily we got a table outside. Btw, the waitress was nice. We three ordered three pastas and shared one pizza. My friend told me that the Mussel in her pasta was not fresh, which tasted badly. Apart from that, the service and food worth 4. I’d like to visit again and try the eye fillet mentioned by others.

I just have to say that the Chef’s specials Eye Fillet was amazing! There wasn’t that many vegetables on the plate but it was yummy. The greek salad was nice but nothing special, especially for the price.
We had the Sticky Date Pudding and Brownie for dessert and it was mouthwatering.
The service was okay but not the best.
Visited recently early in the week for dinner. Though pictures of some of the food here look out dated and simple I was pretty happy with the meatballs special Pappardelle, it was moist and simple but tasty, just what I wanted to eat on a cold winters evening, a few tables around and smiles in the kitchen.
Very busy place for dinner. Have been here a few times and some dishes were really good. A highlight is the smoked salmon pizza which is quite unique and the seared tuna pizza. The seared tuna pizza was a good dish, although not really a pizza in my opinion. Dough is a bit more like a biscuit rather than the thin italian style, but it is still very nice. Prawn & crab pasta is really nice. Had a few specials which were really good also, particularly the fish chowder. Pumpkin leek gorgonzola calzone needed more gorgonzola for balance, while pumkin spinach canneloni was nice also. A little on the pricey side though for a casual eatery.
