The family and I LOVE coming here, we’ve been visiting Cloves for over a year now and we don’t go anywhere else!! Food is exceptional; both dine in and takeaway!! I highly recommend the curries & the superb garlic naan, but my go-to is the delicious chicken korma! Truly an amazing local restaurant with top quality food - we’ve never been disappointed!!

Small cozy restaurant with exceptional service. Staff are always willing to help you with your decision making because the menu can be overwhelming. Absolutely love their tandoori chicken and lamb madras curry. The only down side is that they've got really poor ventilation. The smoke from the kitchen travels all the way to the dining area which makes it quite smoky and stuffy.

It was slightly abrupt how the table was cleaned / cleared in the end that we felt we had to leave. Other than that, we had a lovely evening there
This place is a lovely family owned Indian restaurant. Great food and good service. If you're not sure what to order, the staff will certainly help you choose something yummy. It's a small restaurant but nice and cosy! Would recommend
A yummy family owned restaurant! Great for takeaway and also nice and cosy if you want to eat in! I recommend getting yourself the Chicken Madras with Lemon rice and some Wholemeal/Garlic Roti on the side! Very friendly staff, highly recommend.
I ordered the Lamb Bhuna Gosht and rice together and it was great. Personable staff, great service and a wide selection of foods which are all great. Would recommend highly
Probably the best Indian food in Kew, North Balwyn area by a long shot. We will be back soon to have the amazing horn fish, chicken 65 and Dale Makhni. Well done guys great food
Next door to BEN Coffee+kitchen is Cloves. Cloves is an Indian restaurant that offers a wide variety of vegetarian dishes as well curries for the carnivores... The décor is modern with candlelit tables and the menu is very affordable.
Having spent a few months travelling India, we are partial to great Indian food. Cloves is now our go to local restaurant. Their food is high quality, very tasty and served in generous portions. Their spiced lamb chops are worth the visit alone. Their Banquet B is sensational. Well worth trying and highly recommended.
Fantastic food and amazing service from a genuinely nice family run restaurant, if you haven't been yet do yourself a favour, beat Indian within 10kms, byo with no corkage is always a plus these days too, thanks again and see you soon
Cloves is my favourite Indian restaurant. I LOVE their food. They know how to use spice which means their food is full of flavour. So many Indian restaurants use a hint of spice but not this one. I always leave happy and a little too full. I just can't help it. Great portion sizes and good pricing.
They also have a courtyard so you can enjoy your meal al fresco.
It is a family run restaurant and they are kind and humble. Remember to support your local businesses.
Great place for dine out, bigger parties/functions up to 100 people and take away Indian food. I love curries. Food is just divine and portion size is exceptional, surely the chef has some real art in his hand and taste of the food can clearly define his experience and expertise in the cuisine.

A great Indian restaurant and what makes it even more unique is the gentle natured owners and staff. My family loves this place and always tend to keep the catch ups here. I have tried a lot of dishes here and none of them had disappointed and some are exceptional like the prawn masala! It is nice to see they have a new beer garden in there too for the hot summer days :)
A great indian restaurant with something for everyone. I personally enjoy the stuffed mushrooms and butter chicken.
we had an amazing meal, the best curry we have had outside of India! the eggplant masala and chicken kadhai were phenomenal. we were lucky to dine in the beautiful outdoor dining area, it's certainly a hidden gem of melbourne
