The serving size for the dishes was rather small for the price, especially the bean curd. The taste was alright but quite bland, without much authentic flavour apart from the roast duck and pork.The decor and atmosphere were pleasant. The service was friendly and there was no credit card surcharge,

Since moving to Balwyn a few months ago, we were looking for delicious Asian food within walking distance to our place. Then we discovered Red Lantern. We've come back many times as the food is absolutely delicious and the customer service is faultless. We always feel welcome here and find ourselves

Yummy roast meat, love the roast pork, spot-on salted fish fried vermicelli and duck vermicelli. It’s my regular place. Highly recommended.

One the good local Chinese restaurant restaurants. Consistent quality. Some of my favourites are. Stuffed eggplant, bbq pork, hony pepper steak, Mongolian beef, fried noodles, etc.... All good.
