I remember when they had the old managers but they have changed managers not that long ago, I love the new food they sell. I definitely would come back again, great food.
They changed management a few months ago and the food here is so good! Very Hong Kong / Cantonese flavour. And at times they even have HK snacks or treats. They even made their own moon cakes during mid autumn festival. They have daily specials it’s my new fav lunch place
We tried this one out as we're in the area. The most inviting Asian eatery in the area. The Price is ridiculously cheap for Melbourne standard. For $40.00 you can get 5 dishes... FIVE.
The taste is alright with generous portion and meat.
Can't really fault them.
I have been buying from this takeaway noodle shop for a few years. It was previously trading as Noodle House (?) but that appears to have caused confusion with similarly named eateries. The food is tasty and fresh and the staff always friendly. You can see the dishes being prepared. Service is fast and the serves generous. Surprised to see a few negative reviews. I haven't seen anything that would raise any concerns regarding food handling. The noodles are not oily. I have a low tolerance for bacteria in meat, so I'm pretty careful where I buy. The only negative is they shut at 8:30pm.
Great customer service from everyone working here. Very friendly environment, and the noodles are good value and tasty. Has been consistent throughout all my journeys here.
Good little place for fresh Noodles. Very nice staff. We have gone in twice for a quick meal. Very good value for that amount of food you get. Cheaper and fresher than Macca's!
Free tea. Singapore noodles were ok. Had something crunchy in there, but that probably my filling coming out. At least they're near the dentist!
I vote 85%
3.5. Quirky little coffee shop in the heart of Balwyn with lots of coffee related goods available for purchase. The shop offers a small range of European style biscuits, cakes and paninis. But, mostly people appear to come in for the coffee which is excellent here. I also had a home style ham, cheese and tomato toastie which was also very good. Just as a toastie should be. My companion had a lemon polenta biscuit and a hot chocolate. She enjoyed both. Overall, a good place.
Low key presence but fantastic coffee served by lovely people who know lots about coffee and the accessories required to make great coffee at home.
Alwasy enjoy the paninis with my partner, lovely cup of coffee aswell
The owners are such absolute sweethearts, my girlfriend was having a bad day and just wanted the paninis she loves but we missed the close time. But the gentleman saw us standing out the front and invited us in and was happy to do a couple more for us. Absolutely above and beyond customer service, if I could give more than 5 stars I would
Mark and Marina are wonderful locals and they've created such a sweet little coffee space for us in Balwyn. I'm there a few times a week and absolutely adore this place! :)
Small nondescript interior but lovely staff and even lovelier coffee. This place has genuine charm, and a traditional European vibe. It appears to be run by an older couple very experienced in coffee drinking and coffee making, and the shop also sells coffee accessories and gifts for the home. The pantry featured Pannetone, not something you often see in cafes, and my long macchiato was just as expertly made as at the hipster cafe down the road. These two know what they’re doing, I’ll always go here on balwyn road before Laurent.
This cafe has the best coffee I’ve found in the area. It has a European feel and is very peaceful - the perfect place to enjoy a book.
I come here all the time and they serve the BEST coffee. The service is fantastic and our dog also loves sitting outside. Highly recommend!
Consistently good coffee. Atmosphere inside is calm and peaceful. This place definitely lives true to it's name!
