Sofia Restaurant - Balwyn - Photo album

Sofia's in Balwyn is a FANTASTIC restaurant. My family and I go here at least once a fortnight for dinner and it never disappoints. Portions are generous and very competitively priced - also have a band on Sunday night which lightens up the atmosphere. Definitely recommend people to give it a go!

I have never actually eaten in the restaurant but I like to get Sofias delivered quite often and they never disappoints. It's almost like they know what I'm thinking. The vegetarian lasagna is so delish and it's so cheap to add chips and salad to your order. You get more food then you'd ever expect

Ordered pizza, which was above average. To make up the order, decided on antipasto. The antipasto was wonderful - a great range of ingredients, plenty of it and fresh. I love antipasto, but it is often tawdry - limited range, stale, not enough of it and so on. Not in this case. Congratulations.

Ordered a mushroom pizza with pineaples. Charged me extra for the pineaples but they didnt put it!!! To make matters worse the pizza box was pressed when delivered with all the topping stuck on top of the box! Colombos opposite to them are very rude. Not going to either of these joints ever again.

Service was good, decided to give these guys a go after very brazenly opening a branch next to Columbo's. The pasta sauce was very watered down and pasta overcooked. Would not go here again. Sofia's have normally been great at the other branches I've tried (Wheelers Hill and Camberwell) but this one

I ordered a meat lovers pizza. Never again, it was covered in a layer of sloppy under cooked beef MINCE. I took one bite and threw it in the rubbish bin. Seriously, who puts mince on top of a pizza?!

AWFUL. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Very very slow; it took more than 45 minutes to bring a pizza, when there were just 3 more customers. Very very rude; we waited more than 15 minutes to order, they do not care about their customers time.
