Review Bankstown Lebanese Restaurant - Bankstown

Without a doubt, the best Lebanese restaurant in the whole of Sydney and my favourite. Fresh, authentic and yummylicious. Kudos to Ameer for managing the restaurant so well for so long. Although the ambience ain't great and hardly any seating capacity, but the food more than makes up for it and how. Bonus: Free tea is on offer here.

Delicious and cheap! Perfect flavours and portion sizes are generous.

To be honest I’ve got no idea about Lebanese food, but I wanted to give it a try. Couldn’t decide what to eat, so I got the mixed grill plate. It was bloody awesome. The garlic dip was so good. The restaurant is pretty small, and the decor is not fancy, but the food is top notch. The guy serving was polite. I recommend this place.

Best Lebanese food i've had. Enjoyed the mixed plate, fatteh and a kafta plate with my family today. Good sized portions, complimentary tea and pickles, and absolutely delicious food. Looking forward to the leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Highly recommended.

This has to be some of the absolute best Lebanese food I have ever eaten. I had the mixed plate which every element on the plate was pure perfection. The chicken and lamb had the signature charcoal flavour but with all its inherent juciness. This is a place that takes pride in what is obviously all home made and handmade items.

A real family orientated establishement with great service!!!

Looking forward to my next visit! The best food ever, must try!!! Food is of really good quality and not as pricey as all these expensive restaurants. Great place for families and anyone looking for a good Lebanese meal
Their garlic sauce is better than el jannah. I can’t eat el jannah anymore. Service is a bit slow as one team member is both the waiter and the cook.

I'm fairly new to the area, and had a friend in town from Brisbane, where apparently they have NO good Middle Eastern / Lebanese / Turkish food, and he wanted some shawarma, so I used Zomato to find this place. I saw 3 generally positive comments, and thought "what could go wrong"?

And nothing did... My flatmates had some slight hesitation when we arrived, due to the sparse furnishing, and the small size of the dining area, as well as the lack of patrons. But we were arriving a little after 6.00pm, and it was early.

We were NOT disappointed at all. The 5 of us ate ourselves silly, including a few soft drinks, and one of our party ordering the mixed plate, but all mains were about $12 to $16 each, with complimentary bread, pickled cabbage and chillies, etc.

My friend was in raptures with his shawarma, as was I with my hoummos, minced lamb and pinenut dish. Om nom nom!

The service was simple and friendly, and they even take PayPass - I was expecting it to be a "Cash Only" place. We were entertained by 2 local pimps with the meth-ed up "girls", but hey... it's Bankstown! LOL

HIGHLY recommended for an inexpensive and delicious good meal!

We're on a mission to revisit and celebrate our favourite Sydney restos before they morph into apartment blocks, this time it's Bankstown Lebanese Restaurant. We could get a similar feed in our inner-west bubble. Maybe. But we are far happier schlepping out to Bankstown and getting it at the source.

Rank it 9/10. Without a doubt best in the area, probably the best lebanese food full stop. Great food and excellent service. Only thing missing would be a heater, it can get cold in there so rug up :)

By far the best in Bankstown. Food 10/10. Could improve seating and add a bit more warmth though ;)
