Review Volcanos Steakhouse Bankstown - Bankstown

We got the Op Rib Eye Steak (medium rare) and it was amazing! So tender and juicy. The best steak I've had so far. We also shared a sweet potato fries with their signature eruption sauce. DELICIOUS! For the drinks, we got a premium mocktail, the Blue Lagoon, and a Strawberry Daiquiri. They were nice palette cleansers and super refreshing. Our waiter Alex was very attentive and polite. He would check up on us often and gave the best service. We could even get takeaway boxes for the leftover food.

Arrived without a reservation, our table of 4 was seated within a few minutes on a busy Saturday night. We were greeted by friendly staff, the meals were large and lovely, we enjoyed the great tasting mock tails. There was about a 30 minute wait in-between our entrees and the main meal, we didn’t even have to approach the staff, they came over to us and said the chefs were just dishing up our meals and offered us a free jug of coke. We were very happy with the service and meals we received. Definitely recommend.

First time visited this place based on google map suggestions and I don't regret that. Taste was phenomenal and service was good too. It was busy so they forgot one dish we ordered but later served after reminding. A bit expensive but due to the ambience and food quality (quantity as well) it's worth visiting.

Really nice food. My cut wasn't the best. A bit chewing. But overall really good experience. Also tried $15 lunch special, it is a bargain for a steak 🥩 and salad 🥗. If you are around in lunch time between 12-3pm. This lunch special won't disappoint you.. Highly recommended. They chocolate 🍫 milkshake is yummy 😋. It is not too sweet for people don't have sweet tooth. Mostly creamy and chocolatie.

Loved the food here. They were big portions and delicious. Came here for a valentines day dinner and didn't disappoint. The little mocktail bar is cool and they taste great. Chips are awesome with this nice salt mix on them. Steak was also really nice. Only negative was the hot lava sauce which was honestly like a sweet barbeque sauce and not one bit of spiciness to it. Expected it to be a hot chilli type sauce which paid extra for. Overall happily return back here and would recommend.

I’ll admit, I’ve never been big on steakhouses. I don’t eat that much meat and I don’t care too much for big servings. However, Volcano's changed my mind on this after I was invited to dine in here. For a Tuesday night, the venue was filled with people.. couples on date night, big groups of friends and families with small kids. We were welcomed so warmly and the service from staff was amazing throughout the night. As there’s no alcohol on the premises, the menu offers an incredible range of mocktails instead. They were gorgeous and yes, they tasted delicious too! We started off with the 'Wagyu Spring Rolls'. One of my favourites of the night for sure. We also ordered the 'Chilli Prawns Hot Pot' which came with garlic bread. I loved the creamy pink sauce it came in and the addition of the olives. Dipping that bread into the sauce though was the best bit though! ERUPTION! The burger we went with, was the 'Volcanic Lava' and it had EVERYTHING on it. Literally. It was so difficult for me to eat but whatever I could get into my mouth from it was delicious. Now, the steak! I love that they provide an image and description of the type of cuts. Very helpful for those who don’t know much about steak. We ordered the 'Scotch Fillet - Medium Rare' and it was cooked perfectly! Tender and delicious. We chose mash and veggies as our sides along with the gravy mushroom sauce. God, even the mash was incredible! They also serve pastas. We ordered the crowd favourite, the 'Pinnacle' which is a creamy sauce mixed with sautéed mushrooms, pesto, sun dried tomatoes, baby spinach and chicken. I would order it again but without the chicken. That's just because I am not the world's biggest chicken fan. And yes, they also do dessert! We finished off the night with the 'Nutella Brownies'. Warm, soft, gooey.. just how a brownie should be! *note, this does include nuts. I will definitely be returning with the family!

The service was great, the staff really made us feel welcomed and were so attentive. The food was amazing. We had the starter of buffalo wings, bruschetta and calmari. Everything was good but the calamari was the best calamari i’ve ever had. For mains we had the tenderloin and the beef and lamb ribs. Both were amazing and so juicy and tasteful. I really think those were the best steak and ribs i’ve ever had. The portions were also huge, we packed some of the food to take away.

Absolutely disappointing. Not value for money. Need good staff and manager who knows what they are doing. Female manager especially on weekends dont have no idea, not fit for the position. Lost my business totally

What I liked:
- great service, friendly staff
- steak had a lovely flavour
- grilled chicken was well grilled and healthy - not dry, not burnt.
- great serving size of veggies and salad

What I didn’t like in comparison to other restaurants:
- the prices are higher than what you would expect in Bankstown
- you can get steak meals slightly better at other places

That said, Volcano’s Steakhouse Bankstown is great in its own right.

They followed dining restriction guidelines well, and were very hygienic in handling things like giving extra straws for each patron at the table.

A Steakhouse Joint that Doesn't Disappoint!

You can expect great tasting food here. For steak that's cooked to what you've requested e.g. when you say medium or medium rare, you will get what you ask for 😊. Sides are pretty solid here as well. ⁣
⁣
But steak's not all they do; there's also burgers, pasta, pizza, chicken, ribs and seafood! There's also vegetarian options (not just salad). ⁣
⁣
What I particularly enjoy as well, are the fancy non-alcoholic drinks As featured, this is what you can expect from one of their premium mocktails 🤩. ⁣
⁣
With 20 different drinks, I don't think bars or any other places have this many options (also considering how the recipes here are originally intended for mocktails, not simply a cocktail minus alcohol version) 👍🏻⁣
⁣
For the crazy, there's a 4L massive soft drink tower (double the height of a table) so definitely a sight to be in awe 😎⁣

Tonight, we were felt like steak, been a while since we have been to Sydney so Google was our friend.

After a quick search, there was volcano's in Bankstown. After a quick drive around finding a park wasn't too hard.

When we entered, they seem to didn't have our reservation, but no worries they gave us a table around the corner. Didn't mind as we had 2 small kids to entertain. The venue, felt warm and the waiters were friendly and nice.

After a look at the menu, we went straight to the steaks, eye fillet for the wife and t bone for me. 1 pasta dish for the kids, buffalo wings, a jug of strawberry lemonade to share. It was a big dinner.

Surprisingly, the pasta dish came out very quickly, I would say 5 minutes after ordering. Girls enjoyed it, but like the drinks better.

Wings, were decent, soft and easy to eat. But we waited for our steaks and did not disappoint. Must have been one of the best steaks we have had in a long time. Cooked to our liking of medium, with plenty of sauces.

We were served on, and looked after very well. They asked and cleared our tables on a regular basis, attention to customers.

Good night out before we head back to Brisbane.

Been here a lot of times! The food is amazing.. love all the pastas .. molten lava is just yummm! The chorizo pasta is 😍 nachos from the starters menu is really good I tried the burger only once as I felt it wasn’t anything out of the box .. I could get that kinda burger anywhere else too..
we usually choose to go to this Bankstown branch as there is a parking building right opposite the place where as it’s too difficult to find parking whn we go to the parramatta branch. Coming back to the food .. recently I got a rib meal voucher online. It was for $39 for a meal for two. It included 2 lamb ribs and 1 beef rib with salad and chips on the side and 2 drinks of our choice which was pretty good! The taste was just on point! Perfect!
It’s fun to go on Sundays if u have kids as kids eat free and they have good entertainment for them while you enjoy your food without worrying about them 😜

We ordered the chicken skewer and scotch fillet steak with chips and salad. While the steak was delicious, i couldn’t say the same about the chicken skewer. The chicken pieces were very dry and lacked flavour and the portion was really small.
