Great! Great service, food, and views. I don't love the prawn shell left on when cooked but I get that some people do. Removing them would have made it better for me in the salt and pepper seafood salad.
Very enjoyable lunch, great service, excellent food pleasant atmosphere. I had the Sticky pork and fried prawn salad, which is pork belly served with green salad, rice noodles and Thai dressing. Full of flavour and very satisfying. I was severed by Jemima. Service was on point, coffee and meal came out quickly and Jemima was attentive without hovering. All in all a very pleasant lunch at Avery reasonable price. Even the seagulls were well behaved.
Everywhere was flat out last night - which is fantastic- but I didn’t have a booking and I had my little dog with me. I was lucky enough to get a table and had the most delicious prawn and pork belly salad and a glass of wine.
The lady at the reception desk was so friendly and accommodating to everyone. A credit to herself and Starfish Deli (this was at about 7pm).
New ownership I'm guessing since the menus updated and the sword isn't a circle or tough, its structured and well put, plus the taste is great I have a photo to.

Lovely Cafe on the water, indoor and outdoor seating. Large serves and variety of foods, very filling, friendly staff.
Had dinner here recently and the meal was superb- highly recommend the slow cooked beef short rib. Pizza was good too
My family held a celebration of life event at the Starfish Deli for my dad who passed away last year. We booked the function room for about 30 guests, which has a gorgeous view of the broad water. The staff were friendly, professional and accommodating throughout the whole process. The food and service was excellent on the day, and the room was set up exactly how we had planned. I would highly recommend booking the function room for any small event.
