This is my absolute favourite cafe in Central Western New South Wales. The quality of the French cafe menu has been consistently excellent over all the years I have been dining there. Try the Date Brûlée tart; better still - take a big one home!! The salmon pate is my favourite - so hard to choose! Love! Love! Love! Love! Love! 5 BIG stars worth!

Loved the food here. Fresh and very tasty. Servings are not huge just right and the chocolat eclair was pure heaven. I shall return.

Went to taste test their little cakes as thinking of them for a wedding cake tower, the most delicious treats i have tasted in a long time, the staff were SO helpful with our wedding cake plans, when our wedding gets closer they will certainly have our business!

Amazing pastries, desserts were beautiful. Both have a combination of delicate, subtle as well as big rich flavours. Very, very good food.

Wow what a magical place ... Coming to Bathurst for my sons hockey competition this weekend was a absolute pleasure after finding out about this amazing little patisserie. We become swift regulars over the past 3 days trying more than just a few awesome cakes and yummy morsels we are now planing our next trip just so we can return to this little spot of heaven in Bathurst. If I could give it 100 stars I so would. YUMMMMM!!! I wonder if they would deliver to Newcastle.....please

I've been coming here for a while, now started to bring the family. Love the coffee, the polite service, the wonderful pies and quiches. The back of the cafe is also a great place to do some quiet work! Six stars.

Me and my husband stopped on our way home from driving around bathurst and while the memorable moment for my hubby was the track, mine was the AMAZING creme brulee tart from legall. oh.my.god my life is now in a quandary deciding if i should move to bathurst or get some shipped to tassie! Great staff, lovely coffee but absolutely decadent desserts! :)

Lovely little French cafe serving very delicious sweet treats. The lemon tartlet is a must try. There's loads of seating available but just remember to get there early as Legall shuts quite early and the choice is limited near closing time. Definitely Legall for pastries and The Hub just down the road for excellent coffee.

Awesome pastries, Try Toffee Choux it is great! Coffee is not good and need to improve , however I give it 5 star for the quality of sweets. It is a pity that they start at 9 am they loose lots of early customers. What I found odd was the charge for table service !

Their pastry is to die for. Very tasty gourmet style pies. A touch of France in Australia's backyard. Pretty ordinary decor when dining in, and the front room is quiet hot in summer. Plus you will pay $8.50 a pie for the pleasure of sitting. $6.50 if you decide to take your treat to the nearby Art Gallery lawn. Well worth the taste. Yet be quick, they sell out fast.

Legall Patisserie still make the best Lemon Tarts outside of France. When they opened in Bathurst some 30 years ago we were gobsmacked, the pies and pastries were Devine. Angelle and Phillips used to go to France for holidays for several weeks. We couldn't wait for them to return. Now the second generation I believe have taken over and it's as gorgeous as ever. We left Bathurst 19 years ago and the few times we have been back we always try and tease our taste buds. Yum.😍

3 words: oh, my, God! 🤤 I'll be a frequent visitor to Bathurst just for the sake of this patisserie. The lady who has served me each time is just lovely.

One of my favourite places in Bathurst purely because the creme brulee. Though it's the only thing I've ordered so that's no reflection on the rest that legall has to offer. This dessert is divine though, soft crust, glorious creamy inside and perfectly crisp but unburnt top. Must try! Good coffee, staff and atmosphere here too!
