Review Lewy's Pizza House - Bathurst

You guys ROCK! We are from Sydney and just passed through last night. We wanted good pizza and FOUND IT! We sat across the road and had a little picnic at the park and seriously, I am a pizza guru and your pizza is one of the best I have ever tried! Thank you!! So much topping and so damn tasty! Not sure how you do it but you do it well!! 5 stars!!

My first Louie’s pizza tonight. A Large Grande, without the prawns, but with chilli, delivered. The staff member on the phone was just the best. I changed my delivery time 3 times due to a workmate’s arrival time, and although with plenty of notice, he was more than accommodating. The delivery driver arrived exactly on time and was extremely polite. As for the pizza… I’m torn. Traditional pizzas focus on having incredible pizza bases and crusts, with few but excellent toppings. Those who don’t know how to make a pizza thinking loading up an average base with a tonne of cheap and flavourless ingredients makes up for it. Well it doesn’t as you end up with a pizza that has a soggy base and no flavour. Tonight I found Louie’s pizza was inbetween. The base/crust was thin and a little soggy, but still fresh and hot. The difference is with their ingredients. An enormous amount of very tasty and fresh meat with veggies so fresh they were crunchy and full of flavour. This was as far removed from a traditional pizza as you could get, however I see it as the base being a carrier for some of the finest toppings. I would certainly buy their pizzas again, knowing they are a pizza fully loaded, heavy, filling and very tasty. Definitely skip lunch for a few slices of one of these!

Pretty homely Bathurst Pizza parlour. The food here is pretty good; I'll keep it at that. It tastes and looks homemade, and is far better than the majority of pizza you get nowadays. The chicken wings were also a highlight, but also yet again, nothing crazy special. The prices aren't so high and the portion sizes are really well dealt in value, so there isn't much to complain about. Where the establishment thrives is its customer service. This was the first and only time I've been here, and in the course of my twenty minute stay, there were about four locals who came in and talked with the manager (who I can only presume is Lewy) as if he were just a mate they were hanging out with. The whole vibe and atmosphere was really lifted as a result. Despite being a quick stopover, I felt like I had experienced being a part of the Bathurst community, if only for a few brief moments. Great spot; if you feel like pizza and are in the area, I would recommend.

Outstanding , toppings galore. Delivery was on time and price was excellent value . Delivery was quick and pizzas were hot. Fantastic value

Away on holidays we had to find a place, we are happy to say this was a great choice. Very friendly staff & quick turn around time. Plenty of toppings and plenty of flavour.

Waited 2hrs and 15 minutes for 3 pizzas. We r locals. Live 2 minutes from the shop. Never use u again. No excuses. Footy or no footy.

Best pizza in town, and home delivery an added bonus, my partner and two stepsons love it one he orders it everytime he comes to bathurst to and he eats like a horse. Never fails to impress

Top Pizza plenty of filling a little bit busy but definitely worth the wait because its great.

Without a doubt the best pizza in bathurst and the pastas are to die for aswell.... the staff are great... highly recommended! !

I don't normally go much on pizza but Lewy's is amazing! Always fast service. The deluxe chicken is amazing, as is the pasta.

Message said 45 minutes. After an hour I ring. They say another 20 minutes. 30 minutes later I get my pizzas. That was 1 1/2 hours. All they could say it sorry. If they had my number to message me in the first place another one could have been sent. Not the first time it happened.

Charge $1.50 - $2.50 more to order the same menu online - for pickup.

The Ghandi pizza is my favorite. So yummy the pastas are awesome as well

The pizza's and pastas that these guy's serve up are absolutely awesome. They also delivered to my accommodation. Seriously if your in Bathurst and want a meal you'd be insane not to let these guy's feed you. Thanks heaps guy's top job. See you next trip.... :-)
