Review Crema On George - Bathurst

Ingrid Alice
Staff here are lovely and the coffee with the little biscuit is great. At times there is a bit of a wait (but well worth it) but they do their best. Nice to see the cafe get involved in fundraising recently for Dolly day

I have been a regular at Crema for a number of years and have ALWAYS found the staff to be polite, happy and welcoming. To the review Name Name wrote it very much sounds out of the ordinary to my experience and really sounds like a personal dig at one person and frankly out of order to refer to the person as the 'elderly woman'. Name Name should take ownership for their public comments by actually being brave enough to identify themselves. Again, I cannot speak more highly of all the staff at this establishment.

We always know we're going to get a good coffee here. Lovely smiley staff, great coffee and a delicious looking range of cakes and snacks. And it's very affordable!

I frequently buy my coffee from here and it's definitely one of the best coffees you will get in Bathurst or anywhere! They use Campos coffee beans which are fantastic! They also have a selection of lovely cakes, muffins & croissants etc. Reasonable prices.

Better than average coffee around, however today (22/07/2022 around 10am) I realised Barista served coffees to the people who had ordered after me (probably regulars), clearly losing business from me and my team! Hope they fix this unprofessional behaviour and let people support local businesses during these challenging times!

I have been here many, many times and it’s always a gamble weather the coffee is any good. I normally drink iced latte however I’ve had to stop as they are undrinkable, I’ve tried a few hot coffees and they are just as bad. I had my last coffee from here today, I’ve had instant coffee that tastes better.

When I arrived, an elderly woman (who was part of the staff) sneered at me for no particular reason. When I queried about an item on the menu, she proceeded to roll her eyes. Not only was she unpleasant when taking my order, but she also misspelt my name (which is common with my name and not an issue) however, the name was condensed to three simple letters, which the old lady snickered and laughed while writing it on the cup. I even spelt it out and said the name to her (politely). The elderly often complain that the younger generations do not appreciate them, I wonder where we get it from?

Always friendly team - decent coffee and they remember your name and order. Never had a less than exemplary experience (which is incredible for a hospitality business).

The best latte i have had in a long time. Friendly staff. The convenience that I can park out the front and order my coffee while still watching the kids in the backseat is a massive selling point to me. I'll be going back again today.

This a long road trip with few Zomato places between here and Perth. Bathurst is a very old city from 1815 with marvellous shop frontages. The Crema on George in a hole in the wall offering well made coffee with a local atmosphere.
The Lynch
Hole in the wall coffee shop with only outdoor (pavement) seating arrangements. Funky enough atmosphere & friendly fun staff. Consistently the best coffee in town (& I am fussy about my coffee). No real food options but still a great place to catch up with friends or get a coffee on the go.

A nondescript hole-in-the-wall coffee shop. Basic accoutrements. Pleasant staff. If you're after a full "café experience"....Don't bother coming here. If on the other hand you're after consistently the best coffee in bathurst, don't hesitate. Crema is it!
