Review Nikkis Cafe On William - Bathurst

Family and I had lunch there on Saturday, after leaving the other place close by , made to feel not welcomed ,I no longer support the other. Nikki’s Cafe is truly one of the best cafes in Bathurst. The staff are so warming and make you feel comfortable. The chef there has a true flair and passion to what he does, 10/10 . Hope to visit again.

This place is not wheelchair accessible. However the service and quality of the food that. I got the bacon egg roll coffee deal. It is not your standard bacon and egg roll, has some really unique flavours. If you are lucky you might even meet a celebrity there as I did. Really reasonable price there too. Great value for money.

My review is based on coffee, and atmosphere, as I haven't eaten there yet but I will and I'll let you know. As for coffee, I only drink soy and it has been awesome. I think what is most important is the fact that I've felt so welcome and happy that I know this is my coffee/weekend place. This is a family business and they really know family because that's exactly how it has felt after moving to a new town but I can see they treat everyone like that and that's what makes Nikki and her family so awesome. Also, don't try to buy the beautiful spotted plants, they aren't for sale!!!! So embarrassing.

Drove through and waited an hour for a B&E and avocado toast that came on soggy bread. Was charged 45$ and they forgot two items, but was so fed up we just left. Ended up throwing the toast away, waste of so much money. The staff was so rude as well, I get it’s busy but there’s a million busy cafes out there that make good food/coffee with good service…

Pretty disappointed sorry. Was enticed by the teriyaki mayo carrot burger even though it was only 10am. I envisioned a piece of marinated juicy steak and being an Italian place, big, with oodles of salad- nope, not even a slice of tomato! Very dry and tasteless but good sized mince which was no fatty but sooo bland. About half a teaspoon of mayo ( I think I have figured our it’s the mayo that has the teriyaki not the meat). About a tablespoon of thawed shredded carrot that was white due to defrosting. That’s it- no butter on bun, no lettuce, no flavour, no sauce- pathetic really. $15.

My family loved the food here. The staff were very friendly. My dad wanted to try the prize winning slice he said it was lovely.

The meal for lunch was big, value for money, the owners are great people, we stayed and chatted with the owner for awhile after eating, the place itself is simple and clean, had a nice feel to it, can choose to eat in or you can sit outside. Will definitely return for a meal again.
