Review Hungry Jacks - Bathurst

For a large fast food franchise, Bathurst Hungry Jack’s invest no priority in their ice cream machine. The stores ice cream machine has been broken every single time I have been to the store and when asking the staff when will the machine be fixed, they state “we don’t know”. Not very professional and really poor as far as a fast food restaurant that advertises ice cream on their menu. When you offer a service to your consumers, they should be delivered it.

The burger was okay. Toilet needed attention, staff were abrupt to each other but my server was lovely and knew what everyone ordered and were they were sitting. Made eye contact when my drink was ready and then when my order was finalised. My order was correct. Chips needed salt

I bought burger & sat down to eat but was by one of the male staff to leave as dine in is not allowed and toilet was closed to public.

This is the third time we've tried food from this store and it will be the last. 15 minute wait through Drive through only to receive the wrong burgers that were cold and sloppy, the quality was very poor. When you've tried burgers from other hungry jacks stores you realise how big a difference the Bathurst store is in comparison. Either the staff making burgers are not trained or the managers don't care. Maybe both.

Got an order online via Hungry Jack's website at 4:39pm. After waiting for 30 minutes I decided to call the restaurant 3 times only to be hung up on after telling me it's not their problem. I will never order online or step foot in there again. I'm going to Maccas.

I am hesitant to give reviews thst are less than great but, it feels like here, that people have given up. The place seems okay, service is slow, staff seem low morale and when there most recent... the music was continually playing the same song over and over and over... ok, we get you like Ed Sheeren. Cool and thanks... but that's annoying for customers and just torture to staff. I can see the staff try also, but they were listless (no wonder listing to the same song on repeat) and it was very rinse repeat. Service was slow... and not as bad as Waitara McDonalds (1.25hr) or the maccas on thr M1 to Newcastle (45min for McBites) ... but still... apathy showed

Hungry Jack's Bathurst has been a big problem in recent times maybe due to new owners / management i dont know. but the way the food orders are delivered / made is no way what it was. i ordered a simple meal deal the new pork belly hunger tamer. first thing I noticed no straw but that's no biggie next the medium chips it had less then a small i counted 14 chips again no biggie. then i seen the nuggets in the bag lol 2 nuggets not 3 just 2 and no dipping sauce. And finally the reason why i ordered to try the new PULL PORK burger haha what a joke its was made on the smaller cheeseburger bun and had what it looked to be a teaspoon of pork pieces in the middle of the bun . Things are definitely not always better at Hungry Jacks.

For a considerably sized country town, this franchise falls incredibly short when it comes to service and reliability. The open and closing hours are as random as throwing a dice! They hardly ever open at the times they say, and they are always closed considerably earlier than the stated closing times. The website should attempt to lean into more honesty with these times. 7am open, but arrive at 10:30am and they are still closed. Go figure. Close at 10pm, but drive through at 8:30pm and they are already closed. This happens frequently and commonly. Staff rarely care about providing the order that's been requested. It's a shame, but this franchise doesn't stack up when it comes to service.
