We’ve lived near Baulkham Hills for so many years and never set foot in this place. We always talked about going here every time we drove past and I guess today was the day. We walked in and was surprised by the decor. It was modern with a bit of Aussie rustic-ness but a very welcoming atmosphere. They had Chef’s Specials and particular specials of the day for most of the days of the week (but not on the day we went). Besides those, their menu boasts a good variety of foods we could choose from. They also have a selection of different salads from the salad bar which we had the freedom to plate (if you purchase the plates).
Absolutely delicious food at the Bull & Bush Inn at Baulkham Hills.
We were here a couple of months ago and were taken aback by the extensive menu and creative flavour combinations.
For an entree we had the Bruschetta which was generously topped with Tomato, Spring Onion, Parsley and Balsamic Vinegar.
For mains we ordered the Fantasia with Chicken Breast, Mushroom, Bacon, Avocado and Sundried Tomato with a side of Mash Potato.
As part of this meal, you were also able to make up a plate of salad from the salad bar but the meal itself was too filling for this extra side. The dish itself was incredible. It was incredibly delicious and nothing like I've had anywhere else.
The Bull & Bush Inn has a menu that specialises in these designer chicken dishes and I'd love to come back and try more.
We also ordered the BBQ Seafood Salad which was a hit. It had Mussels, Calamari, Octopus and Prawns with a Greek Salad.
We'll be back soon to try more of the delicious menu at the Bull & Bush Inn. We recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious bistro meal in the Hills!
The Bull & Bush Inn hasn't yet succumbed to the trendy make overs of most other pubs in Sydney. It is housed in a lovely old tudor style building but other than that it doesn't have many redeeming features from an aesthetic point of view. It's one of those pubs that attracts hordes of tradies by promoting Indie Girl parades and the like. If you can move beyond the bikini clad young
Live band. Not sure about the food, but we went there for Red Hot Chilli Pepper night and the guys played brilliantly! Not only did they play RHCP songs, but also other 90s rock music from Nirvana, Puddle of Mudd, PUSA, Offspring, etc.
Great food and great service. Recently worked close by the pub and found the food and service amazing . The lunch menu is very extensive and fairly priced . I was calling friends to come and visit so we could enjoy this great food and real Pub lunch atmosphere. Thank you so much to the Bistro Staff and Chris behind the bar. Brilliant .
All I can say is thankyou. What a great meal at reasonable price. We were so full we could not finish our beers.
Kids meals were huge, which never happens so was really impressed.
Staff were all friendly and that always makes for a good night out.
Thank you Mark. My wife and I enjoyed a well prepared and excellent value-for-money meal in your Bistro at lunch time today. It was delicious, as were the desserts. We will be back soon. All the best.

We went to the Bull & Bush for a friend's birthday on Saturday night and what an evening! The food was delicious and service was fast enough.
I had the pork ribs, which simply fell off the bone and melted in my mouth. The only disappointment was the basting; it would have been great if there was more basting on the ribs, or even extra basting served on the side.
And given that I almost always comment when fries are served with a dish, here goes: the fries served with the ribs were excellent! fresh, golden brown and just the right amount of crunch ... simply delish!
Would we dine here again? Absolutely, provided we have time and proximity next time we're in Sydney.
