tbsp. is a really clean and stylish Korean cafe in Bayswater on King William St near the junction of Whatley Crescent. The cafe does not take bookings, so we arrived at around 10am on a Sunday morning and were luckily seated immediately. Everything on the menu looked yummy with most dishes being standard Australian brunch with an Asian twist.
These guys are switched on and were able to quickly accommodate my father’s dietary requirements.
deserves every great review, this place is a standout for perth food, if you have even a mild interest in all things asian breakfast, you have to come here. the chicken congee, is always brilliantly executed with enough spicy warm luxury, the kimchi fried rice is superb, the cakes are off the hook and the coffee is always first class.
This has got to be my favourite cafe in Perth hands down. Amazing coffee, friendly staff and the best sweets! My favourite is the pandan oreo muffin. They do really cool flavours, (salted duck egg, yuzu, pandan donuts - which I am yet still to try!). I also come here for my chill scrambled eggs fix (only place that makes it spicy).
This cafe has been on my list for ages and I’m so glad I finally got to make a trip this morning! There’s a bit of an Asian inspired/fusion concept to the menu which was fun and made everything sound really interesting. I ordered the zucchini and corn okonomiyaki and the serving size, flavours and every component of the dish worked very well together. My friend really enjoyed his french toast as well. Service was fine and the prices were what you’d expect, perhaps a little higher. All in all, I would return :) 4.5 stars

I swear on every benedicts I’ve ever eaten, this is the best one. Also, this is probably the best cafe food I’ve had in Perth (been here 2yrs+). The brisket was so tender, the savoury and sweetness just balanced, just right. The tenderness of the brisket, the moisture from the eggs, and the crisps from the ciabattas are perrrrfect! I also had their juice, I chose watermelon and orange, had no regret.
Will take mu parents here for my graduation brunch, just because.
Melbourne locals visiting Perth - first place we went to after arriving at the airport. Cannot say enough great things about tbsp. The food and coffee live up to the hype. The coffee was prompt, smooth and very tasty. The food was exceptional. Flavours were so good and generous portions.

We have been meaning to try tbsp. for awhile because of the outstanding Zomato rating and it certainly lived up to expectations. It is very popular so be prepared to wait - we did for only 10 minutes and were thoughtfully given menus to peruse in that time. We both enjoyed our coffees. The Kimcheese Burger didn’t have a strong kimchee flavour but was a really good burger, pink and juicy. I personally found the Brisket Benedict too rich for my taste, with no freshness for respite, but my husband really enjoyed it. The Curry Bun was a good effort but the salt flakes on the outside were unpleasant to eat when I got a few particularly large flakes. An interesting cafe menu with solid offerings.
A small cafe in the lovely suburb of bayswater. Food was exceptionally good, but interior was a little too plain. Ordered the kimcheese burger and the brisket. The burger was heavenly, with it all complimenting each other - honestly one of the best burgers I've ever had. The brisket was also really good! The food and coffees was enough to fill us both up. Service was lovely and attentive. Would give a 4.5 if I could, only losing out for the plainish interior.

Had the butter milk chicken burger, the slaw wasnt heavy and the homemade pickles was yummy. Been here a few times now and i always walk out happy. Only fault is finding a carpark. We will be back to try the filtered coffee recommended by the barista.
Having eaten a few days of standard eggs on toast for breakfast, I started to bore of my usual so tried to shake things up. Having seen the interesting fusion Asian dishes on the menu of Tbsp in Bayswater, I thought to give it a shot seeing as it was on our way to work anyway. Getting in just past opening time, I was pleased to see quite a few customers already, signifying its obvious popularity.
This is my absolute favourite brunch spot in Perth. I’ve never had a bad meal here. The menu is seasonal and always interesting. Everything is reasonably priced! ❤️
One of the best cafe in Perth. We ordered the signature beef brisket and pork belly okonomiyaki. The pork belly was done perfectly and goes well with the okonomiyaki, topped with some flakes and sauces, voila! Everything was delicious and we cleared our plates.
I really appreciated the super friendly service here. It made all the difference. The coffee is good. The food is ok. But service is great. Keep it up. I'll be back every time I'm in the area
Tbsp has been on my hit list for a while, in particular the chicken congee which is intriguing. I always wondered if it is like the congee served in dim sum or yum cha places or if it is a fusion kind. Friday was the perfect day for a visit on my day off. So I convinced my darling a lunch date at tbsp followed by a haircut in Morley. It was not crazy busy when we arrived. I was relieved 😅 that there was no queue. We walked in and were greeted immediately. As we sat down, I noticed the pandan pound cake 🍰 and could not take my eyes off it. I ordered a slice of it and the chicken congee. My darling wanted the pumpkin sourdough. The chicken congee was a tad over seasoned and not as piping hot as I like. It was still delicious nevertheless. I love the pandan cake. But I could not taste the pandan, so I wondered if it was just green colouring? My darling found his portion a bit small for the price.
Came to Tbsp for a coffee date with family. Service was prompt, very friendly/kind and accommodating. The cafe was quite busy; however, we secured a table easily. Coffee was also pleasant and reasonably priced. Will definitely return and have a meal because the food looked delicious!
Just finished breakfast at tbsp and was extremely impressed. The food was delicious with bursting flavours and the service was excellent.
There was a small mix up with our order, partly my fault and partly theirs, and they rectified it asap. The owner also came over to ensure we were happy after the confusion. That's the type of A+ service that makes a great cafe.

Yes there could be a line. Yes you may have to wait for a few minutes before even being seated. Yes it is well worth the wait. Customer service with a friendly smile. The wait staff are quick and efficient with the table turnover without making diners feel rushed. The food is unique, tasty, well portioned and reasonably priced. All worth the wait and price. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We recommend and will most definitely return.

Worth 5 stars!! Amazing food, very friendly service, great coffee, what could you ask for? Order the butter milk chicken thing. My favorite from the menu! If you don’t know where to eat in Perth, this place is a must visit!!
I don't know why it's taken so long for us to try here. 11am Sunday, cafe rammed with people enjoying brunch. We left our name and literally 5 minutes later were seated at a free table. Ordered 2 cappuccinos, watermelon juice, scrambled eggs, zucchini and corn fritters and pandan French toast. Service was very prompt despite being so busy. Also well worth the $60 bill, came away with full bellies and a doggy bag. Will be back for sure!
The food is fantastic - so much variety and so very tasty. I just didn't enjoy the queue outside in the cold rain (11am on a Sunday). They bring the dishes out very quick - I guess they are pro at fast service given the quick turnovers. But I didn't like the rushed feeling of not being able to have a lazy Sunday brekky because the queue outside was building again.
First visit to tbsp. yesterday and after trying the brisket for breakfast, I wanted to try everything else on the menu! Great coffee too! Worth the 45 minute drive from home :)
YUM. One of our favourite spots, I feel like a broken record asking “Can we go to tbsp. again this weekend?”. Current favourite on the winter menu is the congee or bulgogi don, loved the kimcheese burger when they had it. We also came here for a ramen night special which was fantastic. Reckon they keep doing events and changing up the menu just to keep us coming back, but I won’t say no!
This is a really great cafe serving good coffee and excellent food. I recommend the pulled beef brisket benedict or the fried chicken burger both of which were really really good and tasty. The pandan french toast is also a great dish to share as dessert.
Had a few brunches here and the food is always quirky and delicious with great coffee. What more could you want? Oh, and great service all round too. Just remember that because it is so good there is often a queue on weekends

I came to this place in the weekend with my mum. I've always seen this brunch bar consistently on the trending list. But I finally got around to checking this place out.
Upon entering it was already packed. The lady handed out menu cards to us whilst we were waiting. Only 10 minute wait while we got directed to our tables. One thing I loved bout this place is it has decent sized wooden tables and it's not cramped at all. I have been to so many brunch bars and tables have always been an issue for me and our plates are always cramped while eating. But not this place.
For drinks we went for the chai and matcha latte. For food we went for the pandan french toast, bibimbowl and the special for the day which was the buttermilk fried chicken burger(I couldn't wait to devour this!). The burger tasted delicious, crispy and crunchy chicken with quality sesame buns and lovely mayo dressing with the coleslaw. Shoestring fries were good with just a pinch of salt sprinkled over them. I thoroughly enjoyed this dish. My mum enjoyed her bibimbowl. She loved the slow cooked egg mixed with all the veges then to top it off with that extra crunch from the nori cracker.
But the hero for me was the pandan french toast. I didn't know you could do french toast with sourdough bread. It was so fresh with the pandan and just drizzled with maple syrup and coffee butter. So damn yum, I really loved this dish. Eating this with a scoop of ice cream just gave that extra depth of flavour to the french toast.
Overall, I had a great experience at this brunch bar. I like the Asian fusion mixed with some breakfast classics. The staff were lovely and very efficient as well. Well priced menu, I paid $70 in total which is not bad in my view. Great atmosphere inside the place as well, simplicity at its best which I love. Hopefully there is kimchi fried rice in next month's menu.

This place does a great job mixing Asian elements with the typical Western Brunch style cuisine.
The restaurant has a modern but simple spacious. Service was friendly and efficient. I appreciated that they offered me a table before my guest arrived.
Truthfully I probably did not pick the best dish from the menu but nonetheless it was delicious and well presented. The crumbed trout was crispy on the outside and appeared very fresh on the inside. The dish was mixed with a generous amount of vegetables. I was not a fan of the rice cakes which were somewhat bland, and quickly became boring after eating one or two pieces.
Certainly looking forward to my next visit and trying more of their dishes.

The May menu had a lot of Asian fusion food, particularly Korean fusion. My boyfriend and I both had the fried chicken sandwich, which was really delicious! It had the perfect amount of heat from the sauce, and everything tasted really fresh.
It was insanely busy when we went for Sunday brunch. Obviously no one enjoys waiting outside in a line for a table, but the staff at tbsp. handled it really well, offering customers menus and taking their names. The 10 or so minutes that we had to wait flew by, and we really didn't mind it all that much.
It's not really a place where you can have a quiet Sunday brunch and a nice conversation, but the food is too good that you won't want to talk anyway!
Went for breakfast today, experienced great friendly customer service, a nice strong coffee served in a double walled glass and muesli that was not only delicious tasting but looking!!
A very great experience with the food, the staff and the vibe in general. Highly recommend the kimchi fried rice and the dobokki (korean rice cakes). Will come back for sure.
tbsp. delivers every time I come here. Coffee, service, atmosphere and above all else the food is on point. This truly is a 5 star brunch spot! Chicken rice pudding was delicious. Their brisket is also one of the best I’ve have in Perth. Do yourself a flavor make sure you eat at tbsp.
First time trying this chilli crab sandwich and it didn’t disappoint me. The portion was quite generous, enough for 2 people to share. Donuts and coffee were amazing as usual.

Had their chilli scrambled eggs and it was cooked well. The chilli had a good "kick" and the eggs a nice texture. Also added the bacon which wasn't greasy with a smokey flavour.
Cafe was very clean and a bottled water was already on the table as I arrived. I also had the filtered coffee which was great.
Beat the crowds for a calm and pleasant atmosphere at 8am on a Sunday morning.
Been here twice and it’s a 5/5 every time. The staff are really friendly and the coffee is really good. The food though - is absolutely amazing. I had the fritters the first time I went and they were way better than what I was expecting. This time I had the kale and feta eggs and they were better than what I expected again!
So good, can’t wait to try more things on the menu. My partner loved both his dishes he tried which were the pulled pork Benedict and the second time he had slow cooked eggs on toast. Loved how the eggs were cooked and the gluten free bread was so nice - real bakery style bread instead of what you’d buy at the local supermarket.
Everything was lovely☺️ Had brisket and kimcheese burger, it was totally delicious I also had ice coffee and really liked this as much as I liked foods.

The beef brisket was so amazing!! This place is totally worth the hype! Although it costed $24, it was definetely worth the price for the delicious food and huge portions, will be coming back for sure!
Funky setting. Fragrant tea. Quick service. But deceptively easy parking - all the parks next to the cafe are 1 hour or less. Have to park by the railway if u r worried about getting a ticket. Must try the brisket hollandaise next time ... Anita

A great brunch place and well-deserved high rating! It's a little expensive, but the portions are big, so it's worth it! The staff were suuper friendly. They served us with smiles and gave a constant supply of water!
The brioche was really nice, I still have fond memories of it. It was sweet, but it'e perfect for my sweet tooth. I loved every aspect of the dish, from the crunch of the topping with honeycomb pieces, to the cold ice cream and the moist french toast. It was amazing and looked amazing too!
The beef brisket, I had high expectations for, because it seems to be one of the favs. But it didn't meet that expectation unfortunately. It was a normal dish to me. But the eggs were different, it was cooked so that the egg white was also runny, which was good. And also it had more of a Korean taste and spice.
Coffee was good here too and they do pretty latte arts in pretty double layer glasses.

Every time I come here it never fails to disappoint me. By far the best brunch places I have ever been. Really enjoyed their kimchi fried rice and pandan donut. I once had their last slice of salted egg black sesame cake slice and it was something that you’ll never find else where! Worth the wait!
My dish was the beef benedict. The eggs were cooked to my liking (quite soft and runny) but others may not like it. The beef was tasty, peppery and smokey, the bread was toasted well that the butter is throughout the entire toast. A full combination of each element was a delightful bite.
I also ordered the ice matcha latte which was quite nice.
The following day or so I came back and ordered the kim cheese burger and strawberry basil iced tea. The burger was really delicious. The patty was cooked medium rare, which was fine for me. The kimchi flavour was not too strong, and in combination with the cheese tasted really nice. The burger came served with some fries. The drink on the other hand was a bit bland, almost tasting just like water.
Edit: our previous review was 4.5, but now it just needed a 5 star! I come here almost every week and the food is always consistent, sometimes even better. Best restaurant in Perth. The owners are living the dream.
If you’re looking for something a bit different for brunch, but guaranteed damn delicious, then tbsp. (Tablespoon) in Bayswater is where it’s at!. Their menu is a mix of Asian inspired dishes and awesome classics taken to the next level! Not to mention the drool-worthy custom donuts and cakes gracing their counter and always-on-point coffee game.
When we went it wasn’t overly busy which was nice as we got to sit down. Super friendly staff and attentive and when we ordered the food was great though coffee really needed improvement!
The best marriage of east meets west food in Perth. The only problem (good problem) you will have is deciding whether to eat breakfast food or lunch food at brunch! Highly recommend this place.
Top notch little Cafe in the unassuming suburb of Bayswater. Great service from friendly staff, lovely decor and a nice ambience. Food came out extremely quickly and was a complete surprise - massive portions and perfectly cooked. The zucchini and corn fritters were a highlight and the Kimcheese burger is one of the best burgers I've eaten in Perth. Top quality meat perfectly cooked, soft brioche bun and unusually for a double patty burger, it wasn't oily at all. This is basically the perfect burger, from my perspective (I eat a LOT of burgers).
My only complaint is that the prices are probably a couple of dollars too high & 22.50 is quite high for a cheeseburger, especially when the next nearest good burger place (Varsity in Morley) do a similar sized and good quality burger for about $16.
We will definitely be back though as the quality and size of the meals, the service and coffee are easily the best in Baysie
Finally get to try tbsp! It is definitely something special than the regular brekkie places. They serve fusion type dishes with a twist! Ordered the kimchi fried rice, full of flavor, delicious pork belly to top it. Friend tried the rice cake dish, i find it not as nice as expected, the mince somehow doesnt complement the overall dish but the pickled radish was there for a good reason, it made the dish pop! Coffee was quite good! Kimcheese burger was tasty too. Tried the kaya meringue cake, really special, and tasty! Love the invention. Will come again, definitely recommended!
Summary: Generous portions, pretty good matcha latte, average customer service, and could definitely provide more sauce in their dishes or at least provide sauce with their sides of chips?
I ordered the 'Kimcheese burger', it was pretty juicy, but again the side of chips definitely needed some sort of aioli or something. My partner and Aunt ordered the 'Buttermilk fried chicken burger' which had a huge fried chicken patty but it was a little dry. In addition to this, we ordered the 'Fish taco salad' to share. The salad had a generous amount of avocado but only two tiny pieces of fish, definitely needed more sauce or some sort of dressing, but it definitely had potential to be the perfect fish taco salad! And for drinks, we got a flat white, an iced matcha latte, and a regular matcha latte - the coffee was pretty standard and the matcha drinks were pretty good!
Buzzing for a Sunday morning, service was fantastic! The food wait was acceptable we both ordered the pulled pork Benedict was yum! However I really didn’t like my iced chocolate was like a dark chocolate bitter taste but I think that comes down to personal preference :)
Tbsp has been one of those places I have always wanted to try, but never had the opportunity to. I guess the reason for this is because I have hardy explored the Bayswater area and it is unknown territory for me. I heard of so many people raving about this place and my friend who lives in the area tells me that there is always a line outside. My chance finally came a few weekends ago when I caught up with my high school friend. Funnily enough, for someone who never explored Bayswater, I was here the day before for my friend’s High Cheese at Little Cheese Shop.
Outstanding! I had heard good things and was keen to see for myself if Tbsp lived up to my high expectations... it exceeded them. I ordered the brisket and a friend ordered the burger. Both were amazing - flavoursome and generous helpings. Service we speedy and very friendly. I'll definitely return!
Finally got to try tbsp. out after ages of hearing people rave about it. Everytime i drive past, there is always a line of people outside. I ordered the fried chicken burger which came with shoestring fries. It was good however the brioche bun became soggy fairly quick and the chicken wasn't as crunchy as it looked. My sister got the brisket and that was fairly average. What i really enjoyed was the Kaya Slice and the Pandan Donut was so yum!
Friendly and professional staff. Food and drinks came out quicker than expected. Loved the generous servings that were at good prices. Definately coming back.
Not usually a fan of eating out for breakfast as I can't justify the price however although it was close to $60 the food was different and cooked to perfection. We ordered the brisket benedict and kimchee fried rice for something different. The brisket was Cooked to perfection and the eggs were fresh and consistent. The pork belly in the rice was tender overall a delicious breakfast and well worth the rating and cost. I can see why people line up for this place can't wait to return
Japanese and Korean inspired menu makes for a breakfast experience different from most. I enjoyed my spicy pork with roasted rice cakes, slow cooked egg and pickles - wonderful texture and very filling. Lustrous egg. Coffee just ok.

Ordered french toast with raspberry whipped butter & a side of bacon, brisket eggs benedict and the matcha iced late with matcha ice-cream. Firstly wow the meals are so colourful and well presented. Venue is trendy-hipster vibe with cold drip coffee devices on display and for sale. Service was friendly. Now to taste, a bit on the sweet side but overall very tasty. Would defiantly go back here for a cheat day breakfast/brunch. Planning to go back to try their fried chicken burger.
Verdict: One of my favourite places - once a month now. I think we've tried 95% of their menu and even the pastries. Have visited them since they first started and the standard remains... I love their congee, although it was served a little cold twice. Other selections were delicious too and I think this place is getting popular and crowded. Place is clean and service is fast. Thumbs up!
One of the coolest Cafes ever!! The Decor and setting are cool, the kimchi burger was amazing and the coffee and service was on point. They are a risk to my little cafe review endeavor as i dont really want to go anywhere else.

It's been such a long time since we did a brunch trip . This morning was the perfect day, nice cold gloomy day with excepted shower. There's always something about cold wet weather that makes me want to go out for a hot cup of coffee .
I search zomato and the web for place to eat . Tbsp had an awesomely high rating . So I needed to eat it for myself .
The place is nicely furnish , but it's not a big place , suggestion is to go in groups not bigger than 4 people ,as large tables are hard to come by .
The menu was a mix of western and fusion food . The spice rice cake and beef brisket with slow cook egg were well made . My friend had the fried chicken burger . The kids had the fried corn fritter and the babycinno .
Overall it's worth going be prepared to wait if you are in a big group . But I definitely would make another trip

I've been meaning to come here for months and I finally got around to having the pleasure of eating at tbsp. Decor is snug and homey. Nice coffee too. The buttermilk fried chicken burger is to diieeeeeeeee for! I have now found my new favourite burger in Perth! Such a cute little location too!
Food is always excellent. Coffee is great. We have tried basically everything on the menu it's all been delicious with no issues. Would recommend the sweet French toast and fried chicken burger.

Greeted at the door and shown to our table (although at back of cafe near kitchen didnt take any points away) Both of us got the buttermilk fried chicken burger and was totally amazing. After not much to eat the day before and no sleep this was well needed and to start my vege diet to drop my weight for my fights.
The tastiest most succulent chicken in the softly toasted bun was so perfect with the slaw inside. Shoestring fries were so so good. I actually probably looked like I hadnt eaten in a long time because I dont think I came up for air. Coffee was very nice although choice of sweetener would have been nice.

2 words = PANDAN MUFFIN!!! I've had it on three occasions now and still love it...best muffin ever. Great variety of baked goods, also major food envy when my friend ordered the chicken burger...although the menu doesn't seem to have changed in the last 12 months but the pandan muffin keeps me coming back!
Arrived at 11:30 and even though we had to wait outside for a table for 30 minutes, the friendly, communicative staff kept us reassured that we weren't going to be forgotten. The food was worth the wait, too! Tried the zucchini & corn fritters, the roasted rice cakes, and brisket benedict — all delicious!
Been eager to try this brunch spot! Went on a Sunday morning to find tbsp packed. Waited about 20 minutes before getting a seat for 2. I got the brisket whilst my partner had the lamb. Food sizes were large and very decent! Found my brisket had a lot fat which was a little unpleasant to eat and was a little bit heavy for breakfast. Food came out quickly and service overall was good. However, I did find them wanting to clear the table quickly, so not exactly the place I would go for coffee and chat.
walked in on a cold day, staff gave a warm welcoming, ordered the French toast, the elements on this were amazing, it was crunchy, fluffy, sweet, savoury and tangy and worked perfectly together. Drinks and food came out extremely quick.
Was super excited to try this place and get my brunch fix. The cafe is lovely and cosy.

*sweet french toast - came out quite burnt? (see photo) but it was super soft and really balanced
Came on a weekday, so it was not as busy, and did not have to queue or feel rushed. The serving sizes are quite large and felt really satisfied and full. The presentation of the food was so pretty!
This place is fantastic! I adore the brisket benedict, so damn tasty and the kimcheese burger is probably my favourite burger in Perth. Would recommend to anyone. It can get super busy here so it's great that they deliver using u we eats.
Busy shop, got to be there early or will have to Q to gt a table, love the salted duck egg caramel donut, good fusion brekkie, friendly staff
great food and nice coffee, a relatively small place so there is usually a line. my only critique is the place is so dedicated to serving you quickly and clearing the table just as fast that your in and out before you have time to relax which is just as important as nice food and coffee...so for that reason I'm giving them 3.5/5.
Best brunch food I've had in a LONG while (and I love to eat out). I had Kim Chi Fried Rice, and my brunch mates had the beef brisket and rice cakes. All were freaking amazing! 10/10.
Service was spot on - super conscientious people.
I had a dirty matcha latte which was rad.
Have raved about tbsp. to anyone who'll listen since.

Have been here three times and being a local have seen the consistent popularity of the place. Staff are really friendly and helpful, usually a decent ambience any time of the day. There always seems to be a line on weekends (you can't book in advance) but our experience is that if you are in a smaller group it usually moves fairly quickly. Might be an issue for larger groups (5 or more) though.
Coffee has been consistently great as were the juices- made fresh to order. Am yet to try the signature beef brisket benedict but it looks awesome and can't wait to try it next time.
I've had the Kimcheese burger, which would have been really nice except for the caramelised kimchi, which wasn't really to my liking (give me 'boring' caramelised onion any day, but it obviously fits with the Korean theme for the brunch menu).
On my second lunch visit I tried the lamb salad...divine! A really eclectic mix of ingredients but they taste fantastic together. Highly recommended.
In summary, hundreds of positive reviews can't be wrong. Definitely worth a visit!

That almost perfect score is no lie. This place does incredible breakfasts that the average joe isn't going to be able to do at home. Portion sizes are also huge so consider splitting a dish between two and maybe adding a side or a donut. Even the basic, like scrambled eggs, have been changed up here into something really special. If you go on Sunday, there also also cakes and donuts available. Don't be too afraid if you see a bit of a queue. Service here is so fast so there's very good turnaround. All drinks here are great.
French toast = thick slices of pillowy goodness with wonderful topping
Brisket Benedict = perfectly poached eggs on delicious brisket on some excellent, sog resistant bread
Cauliflower = slightly spicy, crispy and obviously delicious
Miso mushroom side - so damn good
Burgers - I just love you can get burgers and fries any time of day here.
Sadly I don't eat pork and a lot of their dishes do have this as a core ingredient. Makes me feel like I'm missing out a bit because those dishes look so great too
After a long time got a chance to visit this place. Went for lunch with colleague and tried the fish katsu burger. Came out quickly and it is probably the best fish burger Ive had. The burger is big but you can still easily handle it and eat without making any mess. Brioche buns were nicely charred & fish was crisy goodness. There was generous serving of fries although they were a bit too salty. Would definitely be back for more.

Great little place out in Bayswater. We decided to try out this place given the high rating and rave reviews they've received on Zomato, and we were not disappointed.
Arriving on a relatively busy Saturday morning, there was already a que out the door!!! 😲 We put our names down and were given menus while we waited. Within 10-15 minutes the 4 of us were seated and we wasted no time and ordered right away.
I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken and a flat white. The others had the Brisket Benedict, French Toast and Fried Rice (Kimchi I think). Our coffees arrived minutes after we returned from ordering and not long after, so did the food. My fried chicken was deliciously juicy and tender, the gochujang slaw added the perfect kick to it. The mountain of fries that accompanied the burger rounded off what was one of the best meals I've had lately. 🤤
tbsp. is definitely one of the best brunch cafes in Perth at the moment. The floor staff were friendly and attentive as they manoeuvred their way through the packed cafe. We grabbed a couple of donuts on our way out and made plans for our next visit back!! 😆
Can't rave enough about the service.
All staff were very attentive and polite. We had kimcheese & chicken burgers plus coffee. Huge servings & served really fast. Next time I would probably go for another dish but that's more to do with my personal tastes. The place was lovely and clean too.
I'm a big fan of Korean food and I'd heard this place had a number of dishes with a Korean twist. I ordered the cauliflower on toast with ssamjjang butter. I have only one word to describe this....
WOW!!!!!
The blend of Korean, south east Asian and western flavours, and the balance between the fresh flavours of coriander, Thai mint lettuce and lime juice against the deeper, earthier and salty flavours of the ssamjjang butter, toast and poached egg was just perfect. I've never tasted anything like this and I cannot wait to go back and try some of their other dishes.
Coffee is really nice too.
Couldn't fault the food here the food was great and very quick , also there new cookie was amazing , keen to come back to try more of the menu!
I came here for brunch with the mrs on the weekend. Nice little place. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food comes out pretty quick and it was pretty good to. I got the pulled beef hollandaise. It was beautiful. Had it on gluten free bread and it was still good. Also had the kim chee fried rice. Which was also pretty good. I cant wait to return for more

Nice venue but nothing too spectacular either. Was busy on a Sunday morning and staff did well to accommodate everyone. We had one of the specials, fried chicken and rice bowl, and eggs on toast. Both were what you expected. Had a cascara iced tea, also nothing too special. Service was fast and friendly.
This was one of the best breakfast and coffees we’ve ever had! Service was quick and pleasant, the menu had plenty of variety and the coffee selection was impressive with all the filter options on top of the delicious blend they had on the main grinder! We shall return 😀. Keep up the great work.

I am sure the residents of Bayswater are well aware of this funky little coffee shop at 10 King William Street, Bayswater.
We were looking to support a local coffee shop with our Kommuniti Kafe meetup and we discovered tbsp.
Always a lovely vibe and lovely staff.... plenty of variation on the menu so don't just take our word for it..... Give it a shot..... or two... 😉
I haven’t been in tbsp for year. We got breakfast other day coffee was soooo sooo good! And kimchi with eggs oh my god! Delish!

Strong flavour of matcha with no powder lump, First ever I finished one till the last drop at Cafes. Egg, Toast… everything was yummy too.
Delicious food, decent service, and very comfortable chairs! Salmon avocado toast was on another level 😋 👌🏼 Can't wait to return.
