The standard pies here are...standard. I was after a rabbit pre but the serving lady said they did not have any. I asked what day I could expect them to be on the menu (as that is why I traveled 14km) and she said "who knows!"

I bought a chunky beef pie and an apple pie. To my dismay the pastry was soft and chewy and only just warm, although the beef filling wasn't too bad.

Business has gone downhill, after two visits recently, one through drive through and the other seated inside... on both occasions the pies that i used to purchase and were amazing are now old chewy meat, cardboard like pastry and overall a really poor experience. The new management had better listen
Just ordered a sausage roll and pie and horrendous is an understatement! Half the sausage roll in the bin as its filling was anything but sausage and one bit of the pie and it too wen tin the bin. The mushroom taste was extremely over powering and had a strange smell to it.

Recent changes to the staff (possibly sold to new owners?) have resulted in a significant drop in the quality of the food. The pies are just okay now with many of the local bakeries doing pies just as well or better. Given this is their speciality, I would expect better and it used to be much better

This once great destination for pies has been ruined by new owners the last 12 months. They literally do not know how to make a pie or a sausage roll. Burnt sausage rolls, pies that disintegrate, old favourites no longer exist. Its actually unsafe to eat food there now in my opinion. Such a shame. A
