Reviews Johnny Boys Pizza

I moved to Croydon South 9 months ago, I go to the gym around the corner almost daily and drive past Johnny boy's on my way home from work. Firstly- I don't eat pizza often at all, but you guy's make a fantastic home made Pizza! even the medium half and half I get is thick, juicy, and filled to the brim with toppings! very generous, and a perfect attempt to please the customer! (most places only do half and half for large pizza's as an upsell tactic, so this was refreshing!)
I'd had a bad day and night, just one of those days! it was around 9:30PM, I had no food prepared at home so i thought, why not, i'll stop here at Johnny Boy's and get a Pizza. I felt guilty for ordering on a weekday when you guy's were probably keen to close. There was one woman on staff from what I saw. I ordered in store. I was waiting in my car, and the blonde-bandana-cladin woman personally ran my pizza over to my car with my window down! It was made so quickly, and I was so impressed with her taking that extra step to bring me my pizza. It was an extra effortless touch, and very much appreciated! It really made my night, it shows great business ethos! But I'm a pasta lover- And i've got to say- I've officially transitioned to Johnny boy's for my pasta once a week!

I used to go to Lipari's Boronia which is fantastic in it's own (no hate at all they're wonderful there too), but as a consumer- the portion's at Lipari's are simply way too big (not inherently a bad thing, and if you want big portions, Lipari's is your place) but I have left overs and eat it the next day which isn't healthy/I feel fat- and its $4 more expensive for a fraction larger pasta.
At Johnny boy's, it's better- the SMALL portion is very cheap, $12-something, and JUST the right amount of pasta to be very full and satisfied. AND, furthermore, if you were to get a LARGE portion of pasta from Johnny Boy's, it comes in a huge square foil and paper lid container that's half 0.5 a portion larger than lipari's, yet at a cheaper cost!
It tastes fantastic! It genuinely does! and they don't follow a generic pasta flavor for every pasta- IE: not all cream based pastas taste the same, and not all red based pastas taste the same, they all have a unique taste depending on the pasta, so prop's to whomever the chef is! You don't charge extra if I ask for mushrooms, even if the spaghetti cabonara doesn't traditionally come with mushrooms, so that was GREAT service!

The staff are really genuine, chill, and friendly! the blonde woman with the bandanna and the older white guy are so genuine, it's a pleasure to come in and see them. The young guy's are casual and kind. I'm always happy to come back here. The young dude tonight 24/10/2018 Wednesday, working alone besides the others i've mentioned/his superiors around 6:30PM even let me buy a can of coke on the down low with my credit card even though they have an EFTPOS minimum, please don't have a word with him, he gained another regular customer through this small act of understanding- this is actually what officially sold me to Johnny Boy's! the little things make a big impression. And i'll keep coming back. I'll have coins on hand the next time I randomly decide to buy a can of soft drink after i've paid for my order. Thank you guys! Kat.

Great service and value - good range and heaps of options to choose from,  staff were friendly and recommended bundling with other menu items to receive discount.
