First timer here...OMG! I had the most beautiful and highly recommended "breakfast board" where i got to sample a few different dishes and my mum had poached eggs with a myriad of delightful mushrooms.... The taste? Lets just say that absolutely every single morsel was pure "heaven on a plate"! This will be my regular spot! Wonderful customer service and smiling faces make it even more so enjoyable. We will be back!

I love food.... but being an avid gym goer...& competing in body sculpting comps I am also very health conscious....so to dine in & find such yummy food options that include lots of nutritional value meals to tempt my taste buds is for me an amazing experience.

We had such a lovely meal, with delicious and not your run of the mill drinks! I highly recommend the Soy Prana Chai! I'm looking forward to going back to try Dr Marty's crumpets! They were so helpful with fitting my friends pram into the space, and the atmosphere was just lovely. Tight space, but it seemed to make everyone friendly somehow! I will definitely be back, and I'm bringing everyone with me! Haha
It was my first time at One a fine Day, and I will definitely be back. I got to have a special one on one time with my young daughter and enjoy the most delicious lunch with her. We had great friendly service, beautiful food and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere. The only thing I could suggest to make the experience even more enjoyable would be to get some aircon or fans inside the cafe. It wasn't a very hot day, but when we entered I was hit by the heat inside. This won't stop me for returning, I'll just make sure the day is a cooler one. A big thank you to the chef who took the time to answer my aspiring chef, 9 yo daughters question on how they cooked part of her meal. �
Visited this place for the first time today after being told it was fantastic by my colleagues....I was not disappointed. There was so many yummy things on the menu it was hard to choose what to have. Lucky for me they do a tasting board which had 3 of the top sellers on the board and feeling particularly indulgant today, I chose this...The avo smash, Mr Marty's crumpet and the acai smoothie bowl were the 3...every single component was delicious! My husband wanted good ol' bacon and eggs with a hash brown. Not only was it delicious but he had a good serve of bacon that was cooked perfectly. His coffee I have been told was great, but the Prana Chai...YUM! The service was pleasant, fast and the meals were hot. We will definitely be back again. Thanks One Fine Day :D.

A few weekends ago my friend, his little brother and I came to One Fine Day for a late brekky! They seemed to be quite busy, but it was a Sunday which was to be expected! In saying this we didn’t wait long for our food at all, the waitress was lovely and so was the food. I ordered the wild mushrooms dish and it tasted even better than it looked. My friend ordered the fritters (from memory) and enjoyed them also. We will be back here whenever I’m in the area again. 👏🏽
Came here one morning with mum when I had the morning off work mid week. Service was attentive and very friendly! We weren’t that hungry but the waiter allowed us to do a half serve of our order which was the mushroom and egg breakfast dish and only charged us half price which was very lovely and accommodating. Meals are huge so we didn’t even finish our one slice (half serve) of our order. Very fresh and delicious!
Love the fact that it’s also dog friendly with a cute little area out the back.
The place however is very small so would be more hesitant to come at a busy time as tables are quite close together and would prohibit personal conversations.
Would definitely return again mid-week!
There’s still nothing better than starting a cold Melbourne morning with a warm bowl of delicious porridge, especially when it has stewed apples and crunchy crumble 😍
This dish was quite delicious, I wouldn’t loved some more crumble (because I just love crumble) but it was really tasty, the staff were truly lovely and the ambiance really nice, we had a group of 7 and the team were very accomodating!
I had the Apple Crumble Porridge (chia seed porridge, stewed apples, crumble and marscapone) and a Skim Latte!
I had lunch yesterday at One Fine Day with my sister. We were quite lucky as they had just started their new summer menu so we had the choice of the new items aswell as the classics.
I ordered the beetroot & halloumi salad - I really enjoyed it and it was a great choice for a hot summers day. My sister got the roasted sweet potato - I tried a little bit of it, and it was also really good. The meals are great value for money and very filling.
Staff were really friendly and our meals come quickly which is always a positive.
Great breakfast and great service. The wild mushrooms of sourdough was really nice and cooked perfect. The pulled pork burger was a great alternative for lunch. The staff was also really friendly and the whole place had nice vibes. Eating at the back courtyard was perfect for a warm day.
Tucked away outdoor area and the whole place feels homely. Food was amazing as were the drinks! I had the Buddha bowl and the banana, cacao and peanut butter smoothie was amazing! Will definitely be back!
Based on friends and family members experiences here I decided to give it a go as well. Immediately I felt cosy and warm and was seated. Food came within a good time frame and had very big portions! Coffee was nice and hot as well! Will come back, as you get what you pay for :)
Came here for breakfast with the family. A cozy location at Beaconsfield and the decor was really nice. I ordered the Chia Seed Pudding, my brother ordered the Chocolate Waffles and my mum ordered the Wild Mushrooms on Sourdough. The service was lovely and so was the food, but there was nothing that I had that was outstandingly amazing. Although I must say that the Chocolate Waffles were not as sweet as I thought, which was a pleasant surprise. Also, because the shop is a little narrow, it’s a little inconvenient to squeeze past the many people waiting for their coffees! But nothing I couldn’t deal with. I definitely see why this cafe is popular in the area and I can’t wait to try some of their muffins next time!

Very friendly service in this cute little cafe in the heart of Beaconsfield. The smashed pumpkin was delicious but the mushrooms w ricotta was lacking seasoning otherwise would of been great. Coffee was good. Will be back.
A tiny cafe in the heart of Beaconsfield which delivers every time with generous portions of good healthy food & flavour. Service has always been quick & cheerful. The owner is lovely.
On my last visit I enjoyed their cheese & chive fritters which were light crispy balls of yumminess nestled atop a bed of grains & trail mix. Accompanying them were 2 poached eggs, well done as I requested, covered with a delicious spicy mayo. Very nice. I also love their green goddess smoothies. Becoming a regular.

I have heard good things about this place and read mixed reviews here and now have my own version to add.
This is a classic set up. I love the window coffee service and what an awesome place that promotes BYO cup for take away and bargain of a small price for those that do. Well done guys!
I chose to have my coffee inside today. BAD CHOICE. I got a grumpy waitress with a negative attitude. Just was not enjoyable at all.
Personally I like to have hygienic sugar put in my coffee by that I mean I dislike the "communal" sugar on the table. I don't know who has coughed in there. What child has sneezed in there or if the spoon was licked prior to scooping sugar out for stirring etc.
Hence I keep away from those rubbish sugars for all to make unhygenic so to speak. ......sorry we all think it -just never say it.
When I ordered my coffee to the waitress I ordered a cappuccino with 1 sugar where the waitress cut me down short response non friendly saying "the sugar is on the table". (Ummmm I am not blind last time I checked). I politely said nothing.
My coffee arrived and was lovely. Hit the spot. One of the better places to have coffee. Well done really good notes nice colour body and texture. A nicely worked drop so to speak.
Waitress was quite short in her responses to others I noticed around me. Just abrupt. Nothing too heavy. Certainly could be much better I am sure. If I was the owner I would have not been happy if you know what I mean. She must have been having a bad day.
When I was paying for my coffee I met the lovely person who made the coffee. She asked how the coffee was and I said it was delicious. I told her my sugar thoughts......as per above to which she understood my concerns. She said "I should have asked for the sugar to be put in". That's when I turned to the waitress who served me standing next to us. Her face was red with embarrassment. I replied "I did and she told me it's on the table" I said really that's not good enough.
It is the 2nd person who I spoke to that saved this rating and I am able to mark high. The Coffee is good quality. The service of the waitress needs work or some re training.
I will be back for another coffee ...... I might just request another waitress to serve me if I drink in 😉

Had an amazing meal at this cafe. In love with their smashed avo and really liked the addition of the pomegranate. Generous portion and the feta was beautiful. The coffee was great too. Would definitely recommend popping by for a meal. Wait staff were friendly. The space is quite cramped though so can get a bit squishy so not ideal for mums with prams.
Great coffee + great food. We are regulars at One Fine Day, we always thoroughly enjoy ourselves whenever we visit the cafe. All the staff are fantastic, always warm and welcoming. They know our order off by heart making our pre-coffee-morning communication to a minimum.
One of the best things about the Cafe is the variety of muffins, seeing what muffins they have each morning is a highlight. If you ever see a Mars bar or Snickers muffin, make sure you get your hands on it! You will not be disappointed.
Yum, yum, yum!!! A lovely local Cafe that boasts perfection. The interior setting was well thought about considering the cosy space. I had the mushrooms, which were delicious fresh. I would have liked the mushrooms heated up a bit more but that's me just being a tad fussy. But the deliciousness of the goats cheese and truffle oil with the different types of mushrooms filled my mouth with joy.
My partner for the sliders. A fresh and very tasty slider but felt like it needed more, like a side. The current side was a slice of grilled lemon (which went great with my mushrooms) but whether it be chips or a side salad, he would have rated it higher. But am overall, two thumbs up.
One of my favourite places! The coffee is consistently amazing, and I drink soy milk and a lot places burn soy milk.
I believe I have had almost every item on the menu.
I would highly recommend! And the cupcakes are delicious but sell out so quick.

Food was delicious and portions were very generous for the pricing (especially the mushrooms. Had to take some left overs home with me, I was so full.) Additional sides are great value and you don't feel like you've been ripped off for the price. Coffee was a bit lukewarm; could have been hotter.

I went here on Saturday for brunch and I have been dreaming about the food since! I have been here a couple of times before since it opened and it just keeps getting better and better. The food is so so so fresh and such big serving sizes defiantly value for money. The service is really good and it's the best coffee in the local area. This place is my number 1 brunch place!
Service is amazing! Never had a bad meal. My fav is the chia pudding, my daughter and I share and there is plenty! But they need more high chairs.
Had a fab lunch at OFD today! The pumpkin smash was amazing and really well balanced. I added fresh spinach which I appreciated to cut through the sweetness of the pumpkin but it wouldn't be an issue without it. Good service too! Keep up the good work 😘😘
Incredible customer service with the chefs going above and beyond to be creative and pursue a culinary experience. Love coming here!! Coffee is delicious with my partner big into the almond milk, it's the only place that uses really tasty milk without overdoing it.

What a cute little cafe. Got to sit on the couch area so nice and cosy! Amazing menu I was spoilt for choice. The menu was so thought out and great flavour combinations. Coffee was good so thats a bonus! Service was great couldnt complain and food came out quick! Everything was well priced and tasted so amazing.
1.Love the small shop front with street vending. Quite good coffee and wide range breakfast - lunch menu. Cool vibe and friendly. 2. Went back recently having the Avo smash, Quinoa, Mint, Persian Fetta, Gluten Free bread. Amazing!
Very cute setting however, being so small, everyone's pretty packed in and, unless you're there early, your more than likely to have to wait quite a while for a table. The food was pretty good, the coffee was 10/10 and the staff were lovely :)

Had to wait about 10-15 mins for a table, but was great! My friend had the banana bread with fairy floss & caramelized banana. She said it was amazing. I had poached eggs, smashed avo & potato rosti, which was also really nice. Cute little addition to the area
Absolute gem in Beaconsfield. Beautifully presented, delicious food. Friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast board was a great option to sample three tasty dishes. Really enjoyed my visit.
This is what Melbourne does best. A blend of culinary flavors. And this dish from One Fine Day @ Beaconsfield has exemplified that. The cumin and beetroot fritters is packed with flavors that reminds of my the days I spent in India sampling roadside snacks. Smothered with yogurt and served on a bed of grains and barley. Somewhere buried under the coat of yogurt lies two perfectly poached eggs. Absolutely yum.
Coffee is a little inconsistent but don't let that deter you from dining here. You'll be surprised at that size of the small kitchen that churns out amazing food!
The outdoor dining area has a nice ambience with overhead heater for cooler days.
