we told about this place from a friend and was so happy we came. the service was great from the moment we walked in to the time we left. even the chef came out to say hi. it is a family friendly place where the owners know there customers.
the food is to die for will be back for sure.

Zaika has been a family favourite for years! My family rate it as the best Indian food you can get! Friendly atmosphere if you are looking for a night out or easy pick up for a warm night at home! You won't be sorry you tried it!
Nice little place. Staff friendly. Food yummy. Decent prices for servings. BYO allows for nice wine to consume with your meal.
Well!!! I haven't travelled to Australia but from some of the reviews on the website and a couple of friends who have eaten at Zaika, I gather that the couple who own this restaurant are passionate about their art of serving awesome Indian Food!!!!
This surely is on top 10 list of "must eat at" restaurants when in Australia.

Great Indian, it's the only Indian I go to, nothing has compared yet. The butter chicken is a must try, so delicious. Garlic nann is yum with plenty of garlic on it. Vegetable Samoas are yummy but pack a punch of spice, certainly need the yoghurt sauce.
This restaurant is okay for a local Indian restaurant. Service was okay. Nothing particularly outstanding. Perhaps better for takeaway? I might try it again.
Never disappoints! The food is sensational. Have been here dozens of times and had take away numerous times and never had a bad meal. The decor could use a refresh but this is our favorite Indian Restaurant.

Always great food, our favourite Indian restaurant. Zaika is our local Indian restaurant and we dine there frequently. We have never been disappointed by the food or the service. My husband travels extensively and frequents many of the "better" Indian restaurants whilst on business, but Zaika remains his absolute favourite. The curries are rich and flavoursome. The tandoori meats are always succulent and beautifully cooked. The garlic naan is excellent. A great place for a family meal.
Best Indian ever. Best butter chicken in the world. They use charcoal tandoor and therefore the meat is smoky and yummy. My fussy kids love it. They don't eat cauliflower at home but love their cauliflower pakoras. So that's a big tick. Always friendly service and also prepare gluten free bread for me on prior order. I'm quite surprised to see a review stating "rude service" and I disagree as the staff is always friendly and the lady owner has great knowledge about allergies. I'm hooked on to their gluten free bread( I Think it's made of sorghum flour). Well you will know why when you eat there. Must try.

Delicious!. Mr friend recommended Zaika and I must say I am extremely happy with the outcome! The food was absolutely delicious and by the end of the meal my kids and I were scraping out the takeaway containers. The staff were all friendly and welcomed you warmly giving the restaurant a nice ambience. They were also very knowledgeable with allergies which is always a plus. Overall Zaika has hit the mark and above and I will definitely be coming back!
Great Consistent Indian. Indian food that is of very high standard and very good service. Stand out items are the Hara Bura lamb and Eggplant Masala. Our friends love the Butter chicken. one of the best Indian restaurants in Melbourne.The food is always very consistent the chef is fastidious .

Love this place!. What a wonderful place to dine. Food is absolutely delicious and the only negative is just how noisy it gets when the venue fills up and fill up it does! Many dining nights have been spent at this place and many takeaways have been devoured. I hadn't really enjoyed indian food before but our whole family are converts. I have recommended this restaurant to many friends and work colleagues and have even had our Christmas work lunch there, all say the same.....Best Indian food they've ever tasted!
Best Indian in Melbourne- I am part of a 'curry club' with friends, so have had many experiences at Indian restaurants. The food here is fantastic, the best thing about Zaika is the consistency- I now go every few weeks and have done for over 5 years- not one bad meal/experience!
The BEST. My dad used to get us Zaika every sunday night when we were growing up! Now I have my own money and house I can go as many nights a week I like! Try anything with pumpkin and eggplant! and ALWAYS get extra raita! Its AMAZING! The woman there is so lovely!
Best Indian in Melbourne. This place is consistently the best tasting Indian food I have had in Melbourne. I have tried several others (granted, not all of them) because Beaumaris is a bit of a drive for me, but I always regret not sticking with Zaika. Everything here is good. The ambience is very simple, but the food is spectacular
I'm shocked to see that only 38 of people who have voted like Zaika! I have been eating in and buying take away from this great Indian restaurant for a few years now and the food and service has been nothing short of impressive. The venue itself is relatively small but staff are always friendly, serves are always generous and considering the quality of the food, the prices are very reasonable. One of the best Indian restaurants I have been to in Australia. C

Great indian food and lovely service. We have had many meals at Zaika and have always enjoyed the food. The butter chicken is the best I have had anywhere. The owner is helpful and friendly and the service is very good. If you need gluten free food they are very helpful in recommending many options. Highly recommended.
Great food, atmosphere and take-away if you prefer. Also great for group functions requiring the whole place. Local favourite.

We didn't like air conditioning, blowing cold air, asked them to reduce cooling but they turned it up in couple of minutes. It was unpleasant.
We have choosed prawns in mint and corma lamb. Both meals have been nice. Garlic bread wasn't made with fresh garli, rather from jar.
Restaurant is BYO.. Average price for couple about $65 to $75.
Very nice food and the mango lassi was one of the best I tasted ... the customer service was very good as well, the place is neat and enjoyable..

Great Indian restaurant to have so local here in Beaumaris. The owner and the staff are very friendly and the smells that came out of this place during the day are incredible. Will keep coming back
This is a lovely restaurant with a homely touch. Expect great, fresh food with quick and efficient service. The staff are friendly but not intrusive - which is much appreciated when one wants a quiet night with family. The ambience is basic and there is adequate parking all around. They get busy on weekends so it's good to book in advance.
Great food and service, hidden little gem been here plently of times having grown up in Beaumaris. Came here last Saturday and the food it still the same quality as I remember.

Zaika is one of the most authentic Indian restaurants I have tried in Melbourne!! Their food was delicious and their mango lassi was superb (in taste and appearance!!). Their staff was fantastic to interact with and really friendly, helpful, and polite. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely come again!! :D
Thank you so much Zaika!! We recently had a birthday dinner for 20 people and Sunny opened the kitchen especially on a Monday (they are usually closed) to cater for us!
The food was outstanding as usual, and all our guests loved it! Suni was extremely easy to deal with, he helped create the menu, it was reasonably price, and they gave us plenty more than we had ordered! We often get takeaway from Zaika, it is absolutely delicious, and our favourite Indian by far!
We are moving out of Beaumaris this year, however, will happily drive all over Melbourne just to eat here! Couldn't be more delighted, thanks again.
