Review Est Espresso & Kitchen - Beaumaris

Never have I ever been to a cafe where everything felt so friendly, including the area around it. Steve made us feel incredibly welcome, handshake and all, and the food was tasty. We will definitely come back for another coffee, to take in the area, and have some delicious food!

Kitchen closes at 3. Coffee is by Vittoria and they do a decent job with average beans. Quite dark inside on a sunny day, hard to see the contents of the display fridge. Owner was hogging the best seat in the cafe :(

amazing service everytime. steve is so friendly and I often have good conversations with him as he is making my coffee. food and drinks are always spot on and i love coming here to get takeaway coffee because of their super quick service. highly recommend!!

Alex makes the best coffee in town!! New items on the menu makes Est a must go to place for brekky. Warm and welcoming staff made my day everytime I visited. Highly recommended!

Lovely cafe/restaurant. Loved the smashed avocado wrap...great value for money and delicious. Menu needs more varieties though. Attentive and professional staff. Great location.

The ancient grain salad with my salmon was to die for. Meals and drinks are very reasonably priced. Really enjoyed the meal and the music on a Friday evening is a must see. The staff is very friendly and the service is top notch. Will go back.

Great coffee, food & atmosphere. Warm inside, & has a great space out back for those warmer summers or cooler winters (with heaters). Staff are all friendly, & helpful.

Ordered the beef eye fillet burger for lunch and it was amazing. Often steak burgers are overcooked and tough to chew but this was cooked to perfection. Jucy, tender and ao tastey! Coffee & atmosphere is great too!

This was my first visit. Food & coffee were great. Service was pretty average though. I probably won't go back.

The staff at EST are wonderful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. It's cozy and warm inside, on these cold winter days. Their coffee is amazing and their food is absolutely delicious. Telling all my friends about EST and it will be my local coffee stop for now on.

I hadn't been before and went with a girlfriend who knew it well . We chose Est because it was getting late & we knew they would still be open. Good coffee & muffin. Friendly service. There were many people turned away after us, so there is obviously a call for them to open later on a Friday .

Had an amazing night with my friends. Food was fabulous espresso martini just as nice. Owner is friendly and the atmosphere was sublime. I felt like I was at an Italian caffè in Italia. Complimenti! I will recommend it to all my friends. Thank you for a lovely night. xxx

Absolute hit, lovely coffee and a really snazzy atmosphere. The owner Steve is always accommodating and good to chat with.

I am a regular for coffee and occasional breakfast or lunch. The staff are always friendly and provided attentive service.  I love the salads for lunch; very healthy, innovative, tasty and great value. They also source a GF bread which is unusually good and makes a nice toasty. Breakfast here is generous and healthy. Great eggs with avo and creamy fetta and the porridge was smooth, tasty and came with amazing presentation.

Came here for a relaxing breakfast whilst I did some work. Food was alright, nothing fancy but good. Coffee was nice to. The staff were lovely and inviting and made me feel comfortable and welcome.<br/>Thanks for breakfast and a nice place to chill out, out of the cold :)

Most incredible coffee AND coffee art in the area, Alex the barista is such a talent and loves a good chat too! Will the chef is so creative and has brought in A LOT of innovative dishes to the menu! Keep up the great job Steve and team!

Met a friend for lunch who is local to the area.   Friendly professional service, great menu with lots of choice, including healthy and tasty options.<br/><br/>Best coffee for miles.

There's suddenly a large amount of choice when it comes to cafes in the Concourse. And given this choice I would advise against this unclean mish mash where you're unlikely to receive what you ordered and then be made to feel bad about enquiring about the mysterious fate of your paid for food.

Tucked away in the Beaumaris Concourse this stunning modernised cafe is a force to be recognised. With great attention to detail, the food is super tasty, something you can’t fault.<br/><br/>These guys trade late on a Friday with a live singer, really created an upbeat vibe. The food here is very healthy and clean. Those who are health conscious will love what this cafe has to offer.<br/><br/>Great coffee, lovely staff, you can’t go wrong! <br/><br/>Check these guys out!

I always come here with my dog! I order the vegan leak hashies and add a side of bacon and poached eggs, it's great if you're taking your dog as they feed them dog treats if they are well behaved. I've also just gone there to pick up a tomato cheese and ricotta heated muffin type thing. Good breaky options that are filling and reasonably priced.

(Friday 2/12/2016)<br/><br/>Came here with colleague. We both ordered burgers. He's the lamb burger and mine, steak burger.<br/><br/>Although it looks like a simple burger. I assure you the steak was well prepared. It was cooked medium well and it was full of flavor. One bite and it exploded in my mouth. A very nice sensation. Bun was nicely toasted and the sauce was great too. <br/>My colleague enjoyed his burger too, he told me that the lamb smell was not too strong.<br/><br/>I've ordered the cappuccino. Temperature was hot. Taste and foam was alright. <br/><br/>The place was great. Nice ambience. Great staffs.

I took my girls to Est today for lunch. I had the golden spice calamari and they had the most amazing Nutella toast. Looked too beautiful too eat. The new menu is out if this world and the new chef- Trevor, is a genius. <br/>Well done Est Espresso. We will be back!

My saliva glands are still working over time :) Enjoyed perfectly cooked Calamari, delicious green salad and fries for lunch today. My daughter had a chicken wrap, and going by the smile on her face, she was more than happy with her meal. <br/><br/>I will be back soon with my partner - the cafe and courtyard is intimate and cosy. A great place to relax with a loved one. <br/><br/>Great food, fabulous service and a wonderful establishment...and only a short drive to the beach. Doesn't get better than that!

Had breakfast. Very ordinary to say he least . Not very welcoming at all. Eggs on toast and pancakes with Nutella. The fried eggs were exactly what got on a piece of dried toast. No offer of water. Coffee was weak. Maybe there dinner is better. Won't be backin a hurry.

One of the best places to get your coffee fix. Food menu is nice but a bit limited. However it is nice little cafe with polite and friendly staff

Very disappointed with breakfast this morning at est. slow service,lack lustre food and can't believe they don't serve butter on toast.we had to ask for butter and out came the stingiest little triangle I have ever seen.<br/>Won't be going back to this once favorite local cafe.

Absolutely love this place, five meals so far and my boyfriend and I haven't had a bad meal. They even do takeaway breakfast.

Invited an Italian friend for brunch. He had soup de jour I had Reuben sandwich. We both loved. Service excellent. Coffee superb. Will definitely be back.

A Real Find. I just ate a fantastic lunch. It was a $20 special. We started with calamari and main was grilled spatchcock.Wine was was included and was of acceptable standard.<br/>The cafe exterior hides high quality food with incredibly friendly service. The coffee very good. A new favourite

Lamb Shoulder with Lentils. Succulent tender lamb which melted inmy mouth , the lentils were perfect absolutely a beautiful combination .

This was one of my favourate places as the coffee is great & Billy (barrister) is the best but I'm really disappointed.... When ordering food I regularly find that it comes out separately and I'm eating alone whilst the person I'm with watches.... I have raised this with the owner & staff but they just said they will take it on board and didn't seem to care. Might have to have a break from here until they fix their customer service

Top breaky. Enjoyed an awesome porridge this morning washed down with a hot chocolate......just what I needed mid ride. Normally prefer the egg/bacon wrap, however I'm converted. The best in the concourse. Est is consistently excellent, very good and creative food choices that can cater for food intolerences, good staff, restroom is always perfectly clean, good ambience, and obviously a well managed business.<br/>Nothing negative to say about this eatery. Coffee is excellent.

Sunday breakfast @ Est. Great spot; delicious food beautifully presented. The crushed avocado was by far the best version I've ever had and it's one of my favourite dishes! <br/>Coffee looked like coffee, tasted like coffee and felt like coffee. Can't wait to go back.

Great coffee. Arguably the best coffee in the Concourse, which is saying something in this cafe obsessed precinct.

Very Italian staff and menu. Loved the poached pears and the bircher is to die for. The previous chef has just returned and updated the menu so lots of new stuff to try. Coffee is excellent and (most importantly) plenty of newspapers to read.
