Review Rickett's Point Beachside Cafe - Beaumaris

What a beautiful beachside cafe with a great affordable menu. Whether it's a couple of coffees or a full banquet meal, this place can provide it. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the place has a great atmosphere and is really spacious. The covered deck overlooks the sea and is so relaxing - a great place for a romantic meal or drink. The only downside is that it closes early, around 4.30pm Monday to Wednesday and a little later other days. I'll definitely be back!!!

It's not often that you find a cafe that has 1. Good service 2. Nice views 3. Great tasting food This place has all 3 plus more! I had the Smashed Avocado with some hashbrows on the side and finished it off with Lemon Meringue Waffles. Food came out fast and was to perfection. The location and view is magnificent.

only here for coffee and cake, what a chilling place, so calm, so relax, the cake were okay, but the views definitely the greatest in the area, what you will see is the sea, and some wood. it was a sunny day, the sun go through the ceilingC pretty comfortable.

We had take away fish & chips and calamari & chips. Portions are really small with a handful of chips and small pieces of fish. Looked like a kids menu for $15/16. Not worth it. Calamari was tasty with nice spices. But overall, I will make sure I pack a lunch next time I go to this beach.

Always a lovely selection of cakes and menu items. Staff are very friendly and service is quick. Coffee is very bitter…. Really nice! Indoor and outdoor seating available with nice views either way. This is a family friendly venue.

Always a pleasant place to visit (the view is amazing!) and reasonable prices. The menu seems like it’s had an upgrade, since reopening. Loved the brown rice poke bowl and my son had calamari which he loved. I was a little surprised there was no kids menu unless I wasn’t given one...

Ordered lamb open flatbread. Flatbread was old and dry so couldn’t fold without crumbling. Lamb was dry and tasteless. Ate the small serve of chips. I don’t complain much but this was pretty poor food. Waitress offered to get another serve but if this is the standard I didn’t want anything else. Other friends food was also small and poor quality. The view was the only saving grace and that is through a piece of plastic so even that was poor. Wouldn’t bother to come back

Had lovely scones with jam and cream for lunch. Also ordered a strong latte, however unfortunately it was quite weak. Lovely view and sea breeze in outside area.

This little place, that you could miss if you blinked going past is great. All staff were happy which is a nice change to some places. The pulled pork burger was so yum and hubby had the BLT, which I tried. Also yum. I sat and watched the 2 guys yesterday who were bringing out food and clearing tables, well done guys. Very professional. So, yes I loved Rickets Point Beachside Cafe. Will be back next tine we are down that way. Regards Tracie

Location is perfect and I have been coming to Ricketts Point since I was a child so this place holds many special memories for me. Lately I have been coming to the cafe very often to meet friends or to take my elderly mother on an outing. The staff are always so very friendly and efficient which just adds to the charm of this lovely place. Perfect for a coffee and cake or a long leisurely lunch with friends

Location is fantastic , food was excellent , service was poor , rude and arrogant. It's a pre typical order service which in itself is fine, however when you are in the middle of eating your meal and you politely ask a waitress if you could order a coke please, the answers is no , go to the counter and order. My meal will go cold, sorry I'm not doing it, you have to order at the counter. Very poor indeed, the management and staff need to address customer services.

Nice place with really great location n beach view! Small n quite place! Only thing is that not much to offer to vegetarians like me! Only tea coffee n smoothies!

Fantastic cafe restaurant with a lovely family friendly atmosphere. The food was yummy and great portion sizes. Great find will definitely come back!

Extremely disappointing. Eggs benedict with English muffin. It wasn't a English muffin it was a white roll not even toasted. Staff did not engage with us at all. Overall a very boring menu and lacked atmosphere. Waste of money.

Great location on the beach, fresh food & generous servings - we were happy with our lunch & casual atmosphere was lovely. The wood fire was burning which made it extra cosy!

First time there and was greeted by a lovely bunch of people, as it was pouring with rain we were able to sit indoors and enjoy our cappacinos and hot chocolates although we had breaky only couple of hours before menu looked rather yummy!!!

Love it here.. we often come for a cousin Get together about every three months but since we were visiting our Auntvdown this way. Enjoyed a lovely lunch and glass ofvwine

Always a favourite. The food is great and the view from the deck never gets old. Today we saw pelican, swans and cormorants. The cockies were up in the trees too.

We were at the beach so used the take away section - the staff were friendly and the icecreams were delish . Would like to try the indoor eating section another time .

We had Beef Burgers with the Lot,Tomato and Chili sauce a serving of chips and coffee. We sat on a table in the tee-tree overlooking the beach....Everything was Excellent....$36.00 very well spent.

It was our first time yesterday and we loved the food, the view and the coffee!! We will definitely visit again!!
