Went here for breakfast this morning, very busy and as a result service was slow. Coffee was very good and food was well cooked and presented. Overall a nice place with footpath seating to have food or coffee and watch the world go by.

I was really happy with the food and service on my first visit to this establishment. Got the country style breakfast- the eggs were obviously very fresh and free range with beautifully golden runny yolks, the generous serving of bacon was perfectly cooked, and also a generous serving of mushrooms that were delicious. $15 and I was a full and satisfied customer. Also got a fresh oj which was really tasty. It was a Monday and they only do breakfast between 10 and 12, and whilst they removed the breakfast menu at about 10 minutes to 12, I loved how when some customers walked in at literally 1 minute to 12 and wanted breakfast, the staff were more than obliging to make them breakfast and honour their advertised meal times. That, to me, is customer service 101. Thanks guys, though I don't live in beechworth, I frequent there often, and will definitely revisit based on my positive experience.
First time here - I loved the roast veg salad and other food was very good. Great coffee but unfortunately have to agree with other posts...the staff do need to work on their attitude. Not very friendly or welcoming.

Needs More. Love this café, although several times now I have walked in and not greeted. I would love to see this place offer a breakfast or lunch menu (not just whats in the cabinet) and offer some lovely salads and breakfast items. The food and cakes that we have are always so delish and great coffee also.
Olympiad Gourmet Sandwich was next level.
This restaurauntis really nice! good menu. i recomend it to everybody
For food, the Lawyer got the full breakfast. A fairly big plate of the standard full breakfast items. It's certainly not the fanciest version of it, but boy, was it tasty! It was another example of when you've got great, fresh produce that you don't need to do very much to make it taste wonderful. Fresh poached eggs with golden yolks, flavoursome bacon that was properly crispy, lightly sauteed plump mushrooms and a tomato that actually tasted like a tomato should be (i.e., it wasn't a watery, bland tom). There was also a Cumberland style sausage (hidden under the bacon and mushies). Chewy, country bread. Everything was bursting full of its natural flavours - a real treat, this was!
I’ve been to the Beechworth Pantry multiple times and can honestly say it’s never been an awful experience (unlike some other reviews). Sure, the staff could be a little bit friendlier but I don’t come here to chat to the staff, I come to enjoy delicious food and a good atmosphere. The dacquoise is by far my favourite thing on the menu! Please don’t ever change it or remove it! Lol! This is closely followed by the Venetian sandwich! Delicious! My mum will often have the soup of the day which is always some yummy, delicious flavour and my kids enjoy the milkshakes and sausage rolls. We’ll keep coming for sure!!
This is an exceptional cafe with home made food & cakes. I love the pots of tea served here. Because with your pot you get another one with hot water, so if you like have another pot 🙂. I always love taking nan here when I visit. Plus I’m a bit paschal to the passion fruit sponge cake with cream ( fresh ) in the middle 😋. The owner dose all the home baking herself. Try the fresh salad sandwich or fresh salad with a quiche. Love going to The Pantry, Beechworth 😍.
We had lovely cakes, peppermint slice, coffee and milkshake. All great.
Awesome selection of gluten free cakes & hot food such as pies. So good.
