This is a very nice rustic pub, pub food at a great price, friendly staff in a lovely part of the Dandenong hills. Drop in for a beer & a bite of lunch or live music (check the venue) favoured by everyone because it has something for everyone.

We had a family lunch here today, I am hard to please when dinning out and today had the most amazing food ever. Everything was perfect. Major compliments to the cheif and kitchen staff. Front of house staff were amazing too but my gosh I will be back for dinning in a hurry. Couldn't reccomend highly enough.
What a lovely surprise, just outside Belgrave. We had a lovely meal and few drinks after Great Train Race. Staff are just so friendly. Highly recommend.

Nice English style pub that is cosy in winter. Food is typical pub grub with large servings but no finesse. Music on a Sunday afternoon makes for a good day out.
One of my favourite pubs, friendly, rustic old fashioned pub with great meals & unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Amazing food with the ambience. We had Calamari dish, it was soft not rubbery. Inside and outside area is wonderful. Very spacious. I just couldn't understand why the didn't offer us a place to sit near the window even though we asked. They said they are all booked but clearly those are not. Tables were empty. All my stars are for the food and the ambience.
This place is amazing, the waitress was so lovely, my partner is ceoliac and she was so good with his dietary requirements. Most of the menu is Gluten Free or can be made Gluten Free and it was the best meal we have had in a very long time. Service was impeccable, food came out quickly considering they were very busy. We really enjoyed the food, service and ambience, we will definitely be back.
We went last night to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The place was really packed, but had great vibe and other diners seemed really happy with their experience. We had pork ribs (the family LOVED it- I don’t eat pork), the steak was perfectly cooked to our liking, the duck leg was so tender and sat in the most delicious pumpkin purée and some beautiful sweet and aniseed sauce, the kids loved their meals. huge portions. I downed too many Cosmopolitans but they were delicious….. The weather was atrocious, but the fire was on and the place is so cozy.
We will definitely be back!!
Amazing food, service with an old style tavern feel. We had a party of 6 and our meals came out hot and perfectly cooked. Highly recommended.
I've been up to Micawber a few times, and always have a great experience. Friendly staff, great range of drinks and food, and a second-to-none beer garden. They've recently dropped a tonne of cash on renovations, and the place looks great. Only downside is food can take a while to arrive - but that's part of the pub/tavern experience in my opinion. Highly recommend.
Absolutely amazing place! We had 3 entrees to share and a whole heap of drinks. Everything was so delicious and the drinks were soooo goood! Would recommend the Pina Colada. There was also a live band playing and they were so lovely and incredible. We will be back! Thank you :)
