This is an amazing cafe ran buy the nicest lady and daughter on earth ...the selection of food is outstanding and taste is nothing like on earth wide selections of all home made in house treats ..she has incredible breakfast menu ..and when your tea pot is low on water dhe fills it for free ...were do you get that these days ....i highly recommend it to anyone you will not have a bad experience here I tell you she is open early 7 days a week ...10/10 from me

Warm and friendly service. Lavish display of cakes. Loved the wintery menu on display - soup, roast mushrooms, roast veggies, potato rosti etc. We ordered a special omelet with a side of roast mushrooms. A special mother and daughter duo running this place. Mum is happy to cook to suit your needs (we wanted something that wasn't exactly on the menu). Place had character. Local art for sale on the walls. Throw rugs and seating. Place has character.

This place makes me so happy every time. You can taste the love in all their food and they are not greedy with the portions. They genuinely wanna make their clients happy... My tummy is feeling pampered!

Home-cooked food with love. This place has one of the best breakfasts in Melbourne I daresay. LOVE IT. My go to all the time. Cheers to all the lovely staff and Mareesa who have provided exceptional service to us.

This is a great cafe serving up freshly baked goods made by Mareesa, the shop owner. There’s plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and they also have a beautiful array of fresh juices and shakes. It’s a got a beautifully comfy laidback vibe on the Main Street of Belgrave, with a little outdoor seating area, so it’s definitely my to go choice for having a nice chat over coffee on a lazy weekend afternoon.

Just had vegan smashed avo, vegan fetta and scrambles tofu on toast. It was amazing. Plenty of vegan yummy options muffins, cakes etc. Thanks so much Maressa, we will be back

Absolutely LOVELY staff and best vegan hot choc! Food was great and the place has been done up so well! Highly recommend anyone in Belgrave to give this place a gander

The food including quality and variety is excellent. It's the best cafe in the area and I would highly recommend for anyone to visit especially if you are looking for great food and fantastic service.

Mouthwatering cakes and delicious food for all tastes! To top it all off, the coffee is one of the best going around, and warm, friendly service awaits you when you enter!

Mareesa is my favorite chef. Her food is superb and the prices are very affordable A brilliant place if you have allergies or want very tasty vegan food.

I had a beautiful lunch at Mareesa's the other day. Food was to die for! They also have some great options for vegetarians and vegans.

One of the many cafés in Belgrave, Mareesa's is a good choice. There are lots of veggie options, and the coffee is really great – we keep going back for take-aways. <br/><br/>I'm really happy I ordered the breakfast tacos. It's something a little bit different for brekky/brunch instead of the usual suspects, and it was absolutely delicious. Generous helpings, full of flavour, and nice presentation. <br/>The service was fast and friendly, and the interior is clean and cosy. Make sure to have a look at what's on offer at the counter, there are some really interesting pastries and salads that we haven't had the chance to try yet.

Came here hoping to try the tofu scramble but we came a bit late so the menu wasn't available, instead I tried the vegan sausage roll and brussel sprout black rice salad, both were delicious! And so cheap! Will definitely come back.

The GOOD:<br/>Went in for lunch on a Sunday, The food was great with very generous serving sizes and fairly priced. <br/><br/>The BAD:<br/>The staff are friendly but on this visit they severely lacked competence. 35min after ordering they came and asked if we were waiting on anything else... 15min after that our meals finally came out with no apology.<br/><br/>We realised later that our meal had been given to a table nearby us who coincidently ordered the same food. We pointed this out to the staff afterwards and they "hadnt noticed".<br/><br/>Overall:<br/>We will visit this place again because the food is so good and well priced but I'll really be hoping the service steps up.<br/><br/>

Went to Mareesa’s Cafe for morning tea with the family. Very impressed with the friendly staff and the atmosphere. The food and coffee was fantastic. Looking forward to visiting again.

Mareesa's cafe is a great little food and coffee joint, has excellent food and friendly staff, the atmosphere is warm and bright - feels like a home away from home :)

BEST Vegan/GF/Vegetarian food I have EVER tasted. <br/>You cannot tell it's Vegan, it's off the charts delicious.<br/>Will be going back, lovely owner and staff and space.
