Have tried Chatkhaaz a lot of times since I came to Sydney, it has lot of desi food options, items that I love most are Samosa chaat, Pani Puri, Dahi Puri and Masala Dosa.
We did tried Amritsari Kulcha, it was tasty. Also tried Masala chai, it was also good.
Overall I would say so far whatever I have tried tastes good.
Only thing I want them to improve is Pani Puri (Gol Gappa), Imli chatni should have proper Imli taste and other sauce they provide also dosen't give authentic tastes, if they can get this sorted that would be one of main reason of visiting them again and again.
Although I always try them in rainy weather as I am a chaat lover and their Samosa chaat is really good.
One must try them when they are craving for desi Indian food.
We bought a couple of sweet boxes from this location of Chatkazz. The sweets were really delicious, it brought back all the memories of India. All sweets were super tasty and sweetness in the sweets was so perfect that you won't stop after your first bite!
Staff was friendly at the counter, one of them helped us with the selection of sweets. Keep up the good work team 👍
Brilliant venue for authentic and tasty cuisine. Popular with locals at lunch time but efficient staff mean you can be in and out comfortably. Recommend the lunch tray special, nicely balanced array of food, and not too spicy unless you ask for it. Staff are more than helpful to explain the menu for first timers, and highly recommended.
Authentic, varied and well-priced
We visited Chatkazz Bella Vista on a Saturday evening in early April 2022. We reached before 7.30 pm to ‘beat the rush’.
We were told the wait time would be about 30 minutes. To our pleasant surprise, we were provided a table just after 10 minutes.
The menu is huge and varied - something for everyone. We had several ‘snack’ items including chaat items such as samosa chaat and papdi chaat.
The service was much quicker than expected. The items were delicious. The quantity was more than enough.
After completing a satisfying meal, we treated ourselves to a proper ‘paan’ (मीठा पान) customized to our taste, made right in front of us - at the paan shop just outside. Superb.
All in all, a very enjoyable experience!
I would happily return to Chatkaaz Bella Vista.
The food here was incredible. Best meal I have had in a long time. We had takeout. The staff were so accommodating, helped us order, let us eat it close to close time.
A wonderful place for Indian food and snacks as well as street food. One can experience the diverse food from north and south india. Various drinks from fruit juices and lassi can accompany the food. Pavbhaji, vada paw misal reminds you of your native land. Wives can take a break from cooking and enjoy regional food. Many asians and natives also are regular customers for experiencing panipuri and chats and indian flavours. There is a Indian sweetmeat and pan section for dessert and pan for rolling your tongue to the sweetness of gulcand made from rosepetals. Students come here work and hometype food. Yes its wheelchair and children friendly. Parking available.
The Ambience was good. It was too busy on a Sunday evening, yet the food was awesaome. The triple schezwan fried rice had only 3 Munchurian balls and I was expecting 4 of them. The food was on an average according to the price. I think food could have been a bit better. Was less authentic on the Indian taste buds.
