Review Bowside Cafe - Bellbrae

This was the perfect place to grab some hot chocolate and a snack after completing a hike closeby at point Addis. They also have a plant nursery which I wish I spent a bit more time at! Overall a really nice cafe！

We went there for coffee and the vanilla slice. We were not disappointed, coffee was very good and the vanilla slice was sensational(fresh, great flavour, and they cut it half without squashing the custard). Great nursery with a great range of plants and the on-site art studio and working artist gave it a great feel.

Coffee's good but you'd come for the atmosphere. Sitting area away from the road surrounded by a colorful nursery. Charming service as well. Bonus points for lactose-free cow's milk—harder to find around here.

A very friendly and welcoming small cafe that served a good coffee and a super delicious how made vanilla slice. Also bought a couple of their home made sausage rolls to take home (also delicious). Plenty to do and see with the cafe, nursery and gift shop all on the same spot.

Very disappointing, website says closes at 4, we arrive at 2.45 to be told closing now, as we’ve had a really busy day! Women are not very friendly, and could have easily given us two coffees while we wandered around nursery’s and gallery’s. (Which by the way are really great.) This is the third time I’ve been turned away…Le give you no stars if that was an option!!!

Such a shame that staff are not friendly, hospitable and always act that you -the customer - are an inconvenience to them. Lovely setting and great food otherwise.

Nice place to stop. We had great coffee and food. Lots to see and buy however quite expensive.

Amazing place at great Ocean road, perfect coffee to enjoy along the way.
