Review Old Butter Factory Cafe - Bellingen

Pretty cool experience. Food was great but it was really busy and it took a while to come out. They have breakfast, burgers and kids meals. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommend the corn fritter and the lamb kofta. I ordered the fritter with bacon and it was enough for my daughter and I to share. Great place for tourists. There is a store in the back that sells high end home decor and outside is nice for photos, rustic utensils and tools. Kids toy area available but was all muddy from the rain so not playable.

Plenty of parking, nice little shops around as well. They have a wide range of meals on the menu. Delicious coffee and the chips are addictive. The service is overly attentive. It wasn’t very busy, but I felt like they were trying to rush us out even though it was pretty much empty. They have outdoor and indoor seating areas as well.

Oh what a wholesome meal! Absolutely fresh food. Milk for the milkshake actually feels fresh and tasty. Had the chicken burger, coffee and Honeycomb Thickshake. The BLAT is pretty good too. Quite a lot of birds swooping to grab food but they aren't annoying at all.

A very interesting place to visit. Lovely little shops within the complex with amazing items. Good coffee and a large selection of cakes as well as other items on the menu. Well worth a visit.

The cafe has a relaxed, family friendly vibe, surrounded by greenery, with smiling staff and a great range of Vegan and Vegetarian options on the menu. My kids said their chocolate milkshakes are the best they've had anywhere. The homely kids play area was a hit with our 3yr old, who didn't want to leave. I could have stayed here browsing the variety of niche stores for so much longer, but we got there a little later in the day due to being captivated by the magical Emerald Pool for most of the morning.

We had breakfast there this morning and yes it took longer to get breakfast than it would at other places, to their defence they were run off their feet with people wanting great food. Great food it was, definitely worth the wait. Price was great, quality and definitely quantity of food was great as was the coffee. So you might need to wait longer because they are popular and busy. Thank you for a great way to start the day with beautiful food and brilliant service. Take the time to have a look around the complex, you won't be disappointed. Brilliant place to go for a quality feed .

Great place to visit, many other stores to visit besides cafe, woodwork, silversmiths, clothing and nice nic Macs etc. Take a break and stretch your legs, meet the local vendors.
