F5 Coffee Co is an unassuming cafe in amongst some local shops on Belvidere Street in the airport suburb of Belmont. It’s clean and tidy with an appealing cake and sandwich cabinet and a menu with an Asian twist. They serve 5 Senses coffee which is a bonus, and today’s blend was a special roast (made especially for the cafe) of Ethiopian and Brazilian beans. It was smooth and delicious – no sugar needed to sweeten this coffee – and we loved our soy latte and soy flat white.
Had a really enjoyable lunch here for 4. Smashed Avo was delicious and well presented. Preserved Lemon Feta was spectacular. Extra points for actually cooking the bacon crispy as we requested. Loved the flavour combos in all the dishes we ordered. Bagels were very fresh. Service was very friendly, and very accomodating of kids (requested the french toast accompaniments be on the side for example). The house made ‘chips’ were very good - so crispy, the kids inhaled them. Everything came out piping hot and fresh. Banana smoothies were also good. Love the fact they source their ingredients from local businesses - like the butcher a couple of doors down. A few other items on the menu we will try out in future.
My favourite almond milk coffee in Perth. Good selection of alternative milks (milk lab 🙏🏼) Favourite place for a consistent and smooth black coffee when I have to have one too. Friendly staff 👍🏼
There are no good early breakfast places near Perth Airport so I decided to give F5 a go even though it's a bit out of the way. And I am glad I did as I ended up going there four times in a row!
I was always greeted warmly, which is always a welcomed start on cold mornings. The food looked and tasted spectacular. My favourite was the #Brekky Bruschetta, followed by the #Truffled Mushroom Ragu.

I’m so happy these guys popped up in the neighbourhood. The coffee is always superb and food delicious and fresh. Bagels play a big part in the menu and are sourced from the best traditional bagel makers in Perth. Nice variety in the menu also, not just the usual stagnant cafe items. The home made hollandaise they have is out of this world as well. Love your work guys and girls, please keep it up!
Found this hidden gem with the best coffee in belmont and only a short stroll from home. Looking forward to trying the Asian influenced dishes soon☀️🚶🏽♂️ 😋☕️
Wow, that was unexpected. Was only in the area as we had to visit the airport freight depot, a quick zomato check pointed us to F5 Café, and what a nice surprise it was. Easy parking right out front, good coffee, very tasty food (slightly different to the menu currently posted here - we had the mushroom ragu and the nasi goreng - both were full of flavour). Very friendly neighbourhood vibe too. Next time I'm in the area I'll definitely pop in to try some of the other menu options because a lot of them sound good.
Stumbled upon this lovely local gem about 3 months ago and is now my regular for coffee. Very nice and great friendly staff. Bagels are delicious too as is the home made shortbread. Highly recommend!

One of the best breakfasts in Perth, this is definitely a bit of a local secret. Have been getting coffee here for a while and its always been good, but only recently have eaten in a few times. Food is amazing! The waffles are a must have, the best waffles ever. The benny is really good, the hollandaise is the real deal and really light, and the big breaky is awesome too. Good bagels and all the stuff in the cabinet looks great too. The only thing i could say is that we have had to wait a little bit, but everything is obviously been made with a lot of care so its worth it. Definitely try the waffles!
First time been here for brunch. Ordered chic tower and Thai curry soup. Staff was lovely and food was fantastic . Defiantly will come back 😁

Turned up here late one afternoon, not long before it was time to close. It was quiet and that was great as I was able to have a great conversation with the barista on shift, Kev.
What began as a causal question about the 5senses coffee being served turned into a learning session as Kev went on to educate me about the two varieties of single origin coffee on offer, my taste preferences as they relate to different brew methods, other cafés in Perth that have a great coffee game and eventually ended up with a recommendation to attend the Adelaide food and wine festival!
Needless to say the coffee was served up very well and Kev also offered a sample of the cold brew. Will definitely be back for more great coffee.
I went there for the beverage but stayed for the fascinating conversation. Truly unique experience and one that I wish I could get more of at other coffee bars that just don't seem to care.
After hearing much debate about this new pocket of joy, I had to detour and investigate. I am not the best critic as I'm just too fussy with coffee, being a roaster myself (amateur) and having traveled much, I've tasted some truly exquisite brews. F5 would have to be one of them, the flavours were very unique, I hadn't tasted anything quite like it before, they were at their peak of expression without being arrogant or offensive; they were bold in delivery whilst holding the smooth subtleties of a refined roast. It was an intimate experience that was complimented by the warmth of the barista who made it. A venue truly worth a detour and one I hope to frequent more often.
Came here with a friend for brunch last week. The coffee was perfect, service was warm and friendly and the food was divine! Will definitely be back!
I popped in quickly one morning for a coffee and have been a regular customer ever since. The bagels are fantastic, coffee is amazing and the service is perfect. The staff are always friendly & accommodating and the products that they put out are always delicious. So glad this place exists and I don't have to travel too far to get a great coffee.
I have frequented F5 a few times in the last month and have not had a bad visit yet. The coffee is consistently good as is the welcoming staff. I will definitely keep visiting.
Great coffee. Big Brekky was amazing, beautiful fresh produce, and the best bacon and chorizo!My girls loved the cakes and slices, and the Gin and Tonic tarts are simply awesome.Love it! Service was very good.
Another super cute cafe near home! Yay! Popped in for a quick brunch this morning and I was very impressed. The guy at the till was super friendly and made the experience. They do their own coffee beans and can I just say - they're damn good! I ordered an Almond Long Mac and the coffee was beautiful. So smooth and divine. Breakfast menu is short but sweet, and pretty much everything is served with bagels - Yasss! I love bagels. I went for the Truffle Mushroom Ragu with Poached Eggs and a bagel. The eggs were beautifully cooked, the mushroom Ragu had the most delicious truffle flavour and it was moreish. Everything worked so well together. Loved it. E had an Smoked Ham & Cheese Bagel and she was also very impressed. We will totally be back.
Great coffee in a little area of Belmont, way better than Brunchinos was. I've spoken to the owner a few times, they make their own coffee bean blend. The gluten free choc Orange cake is delicious, as are their bagels. I eye off all the treats every time I go in but have resisted temptation so far. I'll definitely be a regular.
A terrific little spot in the heart of an area otherwise devoid of decent coffee.
Good people with a passion for quality who make everything in-house.

It's so exciting to finally have a great coffee place in Belmont! Have been here numerous times since they opened and it's always a winner. Tasty food and delicious coffee every time. I strongly recommend having a few tasty treats - they are all made in house and very inventive with flavours.

I don't consider myself a coffee drinker, because I generally dislike the taste of bad coffee. However, I find the taste of the coffee here palatable to my liking. No sugar needed! I also enjoy the choice of food on the breakfast and lunch menu which is an added bonus to good coffee!
Been there once and definitely enjoyed it. Coffees are tiny and the food portion sizes were smaller then I would of liked but still appropriate. Service is exception and I do believe it is the best food and coffee in the area.
Nice to see that a new cafe has moved into the neighbourhood. Great friendly service and the coffee is up there with the top cafes in Perth.
Will be dropping by regularly now that I know there's good coffee near our office :D
Cute little local hang out. Food was very tasty and I really enjoyed my bagel. Coffee needs a bit of work. I can see the staff are really passionate about it, but the coffee was a bit weak or the bean strength wasnt quite right for the coffee I ordered. I wil definitely be back to try again.
Finally a coffee spot in Belmont that puts an emphasis on quality and taste! Not to mention a good range of tasty food to go with it (if that's your thing). I'll definitely be back!
First time I have visited this little coffee shop in our local area even though I have heard lots of good reports about it. I can say they are all correct. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The menu has lots of options that will satisfy just about everyone and the prices are quite reasonable. We were there probably a bit after the lunch time rush but our order was delivered to the table quite quickly. The food was very tasty and will be returning again in the near future to try some of the other offerings. Being a coffee shop there is of course the all important coffee which was very good plus there is lots of little cakes etc to have with it if you are not after a full meal. All in all a great experience.
My wife discovered this gem and suggested we try it as she know that our daughter and I love burgers. We had a very nice lunch there and the burgers we ordered were delish! We had the "Beauty and the bacon" and the "Pepper Pig" burger with a large side of fries. Lovely patties, topped with bacon, with additional crispy pork belly topping for Pepper Pig. GF options available for some burgers as well. Staff are attentive, polite and helpful. Street parking is available. We love the atmosphere of this cafe and will be back.

Pretty sweet local spot with a massive range of menu items to suit all eaters. The kids bacon, egg & toast meal was a very generous portion at $11. My partner was disappointed with the small portion of the Nutella waffle(S) as it only came with one small waffle cut into 4. I got the fried chicken & waffle, which again came with only 1 small waffle, but a massive serve of chicken. This one had a nice spicy kick and full of flavour. Laid-back, family friendly environment was an added plus. Big thanks to the young staff member who brought my energetic 2 year old coloured pencils & a drawing paper 👏🏼 Overall, would recommend. We will try again in the future.
