Surprising amount of specialty coffee options. Had a Bulletproof Coffee and Japanese Iced Coffee, both were fantastic. Definitely going back next time we're in Belmont.
I wanted so badly to visit this place, and on a day out i decided id take my mum here. But as she has chronic back pain we were unable to come in as none of the seats had backs :(
Impressive decor? Nope. Extended menu with descriptions you only hear on master chef? Nope.
This place is simple...barely 15 seats....definitely not a lavish place.
But a haven for coffee connoisseur in this area. Axil Coffee beans. meticulous execution. Barista is knowledgeable and skillful. Nice.
Crazy thing is...they serve bulletproof coffee...this is rare even in Melbourne. And my 1st encounter is a mixture of intrigue and excitement. It is the smoothest coffee I've ever had. Other than the bean's rich fruity finish, it also comes with the buttery smooth body and fragrant cold pressed coconut oil. You'll have to google the meaning of bulletproof coffee but I can tell you, it's executed perfectly.
I like many things about the BP coffee except 1 thing...lukewarm temperature. Due to nut milk's sensitivity to heat, BP coffee is usually served below 60 degrees. Despite all the rich flavors, aroma, health benefits (?) ...which I'm very impressed with, I think I still prefer my usual double shot latte or long mac. Having definitely an awesome experience.
Last but not least...while u enjoy the wonderful coffee, the spud meals are quite good. Healthy and tasty.
Bulletproof coffee wasn’t something we were expecting to find in a cafe in Geelong! The term ‘Bulletproof’ isn’t a general term talking about good/consistent coffee either, that we were expecting. We’re actually talking about a new brew that’s taken the world by storm.
Great food and staff. Lovely staff work here, very friendly and cheerful.
best raw cheesecakes and chai with but milk
and the vegan burrito is delicious
Belmont Goodness!!. Stopped by today for a quick coffee- my first time as I'm from Melbourne. Whilst the shop is quite small & modest- it has a lovely vibe without being pretentious. Felt comfy enough to hang out and have something to eat, even though I had my 5 year old non-eater & alwaysinarush Husband with me. TWO WORDS NOW - Lamb Wrap! By GOD!!! Wrap me up in that lamb wrap! The only problem I had with that wrap - it did not reappear after I demolished it. Delicious to say the least. And washed it down with a PERFECT coffee. What a lovely surprise! Thank you... we will return next time we are down your way. Actually we will detour the 10-15 minutes from the freeway. Keep up the GREAT work.
Great coffee. Lavish was a very pleasant surprise in High Street, Belmont.
The coffee is absolutely tops, served beautifully with a modern format, ie a shot of soda with a short black. Good service, good ambience (although a little small) and good music.
Flavor bomb!. Came into lavish specialty coffee today to try out the coffee which I have heard so much about. The barista behind the counter introduced me to their single origin (Siberia- El Salvador). The flavor bomb was amazing! Will be back in tomorrow for another round! 5/5 for taste and 5/5 for the latte art!
Double shot latte. Axil beans. Cute barista. Need I say more?
Perfect coffee art even in takeaway cups-gets me every time! Love!
Great cafe. Really loved the chicken wrap so amazing I came back the next day for another!
Love that wrap. Great services, good coffee and that lamb wrap - with its super tender meat - is to die for. Great spot to enjoy luch outdoors.
Delish Lavish. Possibly the best wraps I have ever had! Their lamb wrap - and lamb salad come to think of it - is the tastiest wrap I have had in years. The lamb in tender, the dressing/sauce is tasty, the salad is fresh - really, what more could you ask for? I think they roast the lamb themselves on site which could be what makes all the difference, I can't recommend it highly enough!
The coffee is great here too and the staff are always friendly and for the most part quite knowledgeable about the coffee and food of the day.
Its so good to know this place is here and you don't have to subject yourself to food court offerings while shopping in town any more!
Great Food ,Great Coffee. I decided to have lunch here when i found out they had Cartel Coffee. The food was great,I had the lamb wrap ,it was fresh and tasty and the coffee was oustanding.Shane served us and his knowledge was great.A cute cafe in the back of Market Plaza. It is tucked away but its great to know you can get the same fantastic Cartel coffee and lovely fresh food when you are shopping in town.Well done.
Lavishly Indeed. I constantly wander past Lavish daily and decided to pop in for a coffee. Once i entered i quickly changed my mind! The Food looked so amazing i ended up sitting down to a scrumptious 2 course lunch (a little extravagant i know.)
I started with a lamb wrap which i was told is a must have among the AFL sporting elite that the cafe play host to regularly! The lamb was so extremely tender and salad so fresh. The flavors exploded in my mouth. WOW!!! i kept having to remind myself i was actually in a cafe in Geelong not in lovely Morroco.
I was astounded when the barista brought over my coffee as to his knowledge and passion for the product he was serving, it was almost theatrical the way he described my coffee journey to me, He continued to educate me on his "Lavish Joint Blend" i was amazed to put it lightly.
I finished my lunch with a triple choc brownie, after seeing the gorgeous couple next to me having there's, it looked so delicious- how could i say no!!
Will be back and recommending this to all my family and friends. Thanks again.
Cartel beans, which was a good start. Then I saw the junior barista pull out a nasty looking soy milk. I was saved by the barista proper who promptly replaced it with bonsoy. Will return.
Love Lavish. Lavish Cafe located in the heart of the Cbd can be described as nothing less than GREAT! A small cafe tucked away at the back of Market Square provides amazing coffee (Locally Roasted) and delicious meals!
Being one of the few places in the cbd that specialise in Specialty Coffee and constantly have a changing ' Lavish House Blend' and rotating Single Origin from all over the world it doesnt stop there.
With delicious 'healthy concious' meals (including plenty of ceoliac friendly) all under $15, from baked potatoes to the gourgeous home made chocolate brownies nearly all food is home made on site and prepared fresh and promplty when you order.
With great decor and atmosphere, plenty of room for famlies and the smilest happy and helpful staff, you cant go past Lavish!
