Whilst having an enjoyable day inside the club I started to feel a craving for a roast so I went to check “The Roast of The Day” at the bistro. I was in luck because today’s choice of meat was “Lamb” 🤤 Served with roasted root vegetables and potato, drizzled with gravy. What a fantastic roast with a fantastic price point. I really enjoyed it and was gobsmacked when the gravy was so thick and tasty. Plus, they don’t skimp on anything that’s on your plate. Oooh I can’t forget, the bread roll that is served with your roast is perfect and fluffy for soaking up any delicious left over gravy 😍
We also ordered the “Lamb Souvlaki”
Two grilled lamb skewers coated in Greek spices and served with chips, salad and a side of tzatziki and pita bread. Nothing special but not too bad for a club.
All in all if you are after some quick fairly priced eats, this place is not too shabby 👌🏽

We went here for a celebratory lunch one day and was impressed by the tropical resort like decor. I ordered the maple glazed pork which was delicious, a perfect level of sweetness and tenderness. The chips were also good as they had the same maple glaze flavour and the salad was fresh.
This place has been refurbished so super clean with lots of seating. Food is value for money and big portions so good to share or bring the family. Standout dish for me was the tomahawk which was cooked to perfection

Very good value for money especially for member of the club :) the foods are generously portioned and taste good too! :) didnt expect it to be of that standard for a club food.
Personally, I have really enjoyed coming here for dinner the last few times.
If you’re a member of Canterbury Leagues Club, you got discounts. The portions of most dishes are also quite generous.
Yes, the wait time is horrendous on the weekends when it is during peak hour times, but this is somewhat to be expected.
The Bistro is a great place for family dinner, good customer service. The food was very tasty. Although the line to order the food was very long, we got the meals very quick (Saturday night). I highly recommend this place
It's a beautiful place to go to for a celebration but there are too many long queues to order food. It took me and my friends exactly 45mins before order and extra half an hour for food on the table. It would be nice if more staff can take orders. I want to relax when I visit restaurants not running to queue upon my arrival due to an evident long queue.
The food at the bistro was nice although the burgers were average. The bistro had a nice ambiance to it and it has a good little kids area for the kids with free arcade games for kids to play.
Stunning atmosphere at the Bistro. The most delicious food I have ever tasted in my life. Chips were perfect and melted in your mouth, the steak was delicious and was cooked just right, the other dishes were superb and exceeded my expectations, everything was presented well, staff were friendly, and an overall amazing experience. This is a must visit.
