What can I say?! I have been coming to Benalla for the last few weeks to install an exhibition at the Art Gallery. If only I'd known about Tandoori Hut I would have been eating here once a week on my visits to this wonderful town. Tonight we had 15 people and needed dinner. What a pleasure it was to eat this delicious food, freshly prepared for us as a takeaway by the wonderful chefs at Tandoori Hut. The food was DELICIOUS! Fresh, aromatic, plentiful and beautifully spiced. The pickles were particularly great also. We had a multitude of dishes and not even 15 people could get close to finishing all the food. The price came in at well under $20/head. Great value! Thank you Tandoori Hut! We will be back! Wonderful meal! ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½ππ½

A nice enough Indian eatery. The food was good, the service professional. The prices were slightly over what is consider reasonable, but not enough to avoid a second visit.
Tandoori Hut is one of the few places that do he delivery. The wait was about an hour so they must have been busy in but definitely worth the wait.
We got 3 curries and palak pakoda for starters. The palak pakoda had a sweet sauce to match which was a great match for the crunchy and slightly bitter taste.
You're able to choose the level of spice for each dish from mild, medium and spicy. We got one medium spice dish (mango chicken) which I didn't really notice a difference I. Spice level but it was tasty nonetheless.
All of the meat was tasty, cooked well and tender. The flavours of each curry were REALLY good! Plenty of flavour, variety in flavours and plenty of curry sauce.
Now I know where to go for a good Indian in Benalla. Must dine in next time!

I have been getting take away from these guys for some time.,. But tonight was exceptional! My wife and i noticed the dishes were slightly different this time. And to our surprise they were better than ever! Last chef was amazing but this Chef?.. A+++ Thanks again Tandoori Hut! :D
Awesome experience visiting tandoori Hut at Benalla. Great culinary skills having Indian tadka on the table. Great customer service by staff members. Happy to have my dinner over here. Love to come back again and referred to others to enjoy their tangible taste at tandoori Hut....

We were very hungry and struggling to find any indian food but then we came to know about this place.

Had an early dinner here. Food took its time arriving but tasted delicious. Best vindaloo I've had in Australia. Main dishes were priced around $17 for a small balti which is pretty average. The extras were a bit expensive for size. There was only one floor staff present, no one asked us if we wanted more drinks or desert or if everything was OK. If you are taking a new customer a menu it takes a couple of seconds to turn to the next table and ask if everything is ok. I am still giving 5 stars as the food was excellent and we will return and hope the service has improved or it was a one off.
