Review Gold Mines Hotel - Bendigo

We enjoyed a lovely lunch with friends in the beautiful gardens. The food was delicious a small menu but well thought out covering most tastes. The Pork entree a shared plate was beautiful. A wonderful venue with great food ambiance and attentive staff.

Very nice historic building that provides for an interesting atmosphere and is well laid out for space at dining. Their is also outside dining at the rear of the property. The cocktails are worth a try and the menu is varied enough for all tastes.

Lunched here today. Staff were super friendly even though short staffed. Great menu. Something for everyone. Huge craft beer menu and good selection of wines by the glass. The beer garden deserves its top ten rating Just a short drive from Bendigo, it's a must.

Excellent, fantastic location and lovely atmosphere. You can eat inside or in their courtyard which is well shaded and is surrounded by gardens. Impressive service and great choice of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The Ginger Ninja mock tail tastes fantastic. Great food choices, from lighter starters or share plates through to entrees and good sized mains and of course desert. I had crispy eggplant bao buns and they were to die for. Veg and meat options within every course. Enjoy! It's across from the Victoria Hill gardens and old mine works which is a great little spot to walk through. Contains a complete old mine battery and poppet head nearby.

Hidden gem in Bendigo. Great service. Friendly. Well presented dishes. Good food. Would definitely go back. Quiet achievers!

Love the charm of this place - take a slow walk through through the entrance as the art is amazing - and yes the food and service just as charming .

Glorious place even during this crazy time, staff and lovely and the meals were delicious 😋. Can't wait to go again once it's open in all its glory 😀

I went here for dinner with my fiancé and we really enjoyed it. Beautiful meals, lovely staff, and brilliant atmosphere. We sat outside in the garden, which was definitely a brilliant decision. Will definitely go back again.
