Came by accident although always wanted to try. We initially went to cafe opposite but only serving very limited menu (not sure why as everyone rolling up wanted meals) and only take away - so we decided to try this place.
Great choice and we got lucky. Our new fav when coming into town.
Friendly staff. Outdoor seating. Nice shaded courtyard out back that is dog friendly. Good food. Cold drinks. What more do you need on a 27 degree Easter Saturday afternoon. Boys you need signs out front screaming you’re open. Out of the CBD so parking is easy on the road.
I have been here for both lunch and dinner and the food and drinks are consistently good. 😊

A favorite place in Bendigo for comfortable surroundings and delicious food. And their steak as well as their sticky date pudding are to be highly recommended. 😊
The pub was recommended to us by a local. And it was the best pub meal we've had in a long time. Steak, Ribs, Parma and all sides were sensational. Great atmosphere, a true blue country pub, no snobbery, not the least bit pretentious. The live musician in the beer garden was extremely good, not too loud, just right. We loved our first experience in this pub so much we immediately booked again for the next night. Cannot recommend this pub highly enough.
1st time at Tyson's today and it didn't disappoint.
We had a parma each which was delicious not to mention it was bigger than my face! Crispy chips and fresh salad with a tasty dressing. For dessert we had a platter which was phenomenal!
The venue is spacious with a great aesthetic in the wine bar with barrels built into the bar. Staff were friendly and atmosphere was super chill.
Will definitely return.
Good solid pub food. Was busy and managed to squeeze into the bar for a meal (Wednesday evening)- recommend booking ahead. Had the medium rare steak which was cooked just right ✅️, good chips. Service was great and it came out really quickly. Highly recommend if in Bendigo
Always nice meals, tonight's seafood platter and seafood marinara with plentiful fresh seafood and magnificent sauces are the nicest we have had followed by deserts to die for. Highly recommend.
Great food, friendly staff and a lovely and warm dining room.
The bar had a good atmosphere with reasonable priced drinks. Most people in the group really enjoyed their food and the meals were reasonably sized. The vegetarian options are very limited though which is a shame. I had the zucchini fritters which were freshly made and tasty but it wasnt enough food to have as a main and therefore a bit overpriced.
