Review Bendigo Dumpling House - Bendigo

Possibly the best dumping place that is both affordable and very housing! The BEST service I’ve ever had, dumplings coming in maybe 3 minutes after ordering and got my soup in 1 minute, and the place was packed with people at the time!!!! 5 stars! Please try this place out!

Used to be one of our favourites but unfortunately dumplings tasted very different. Main lacked flavour, hard veggies. Prob won’t go back

Really friendly service, fairly quick turnaround. Fairly expensive, when compared to dumpling places in Melbourne. $10 for 10 dumplings. Slight extra charge for sauce (takeaway only?). I ordered steamed pork dumplings. The soy sauce was unusually sweet - a little off-putting. Otherwise, nice food.

Really bad service. Food was plain and lacked flavour. Took ages to get my food after they said 10 minutes wait. Ended up being almost 30 minutes. Won’t be going back, there is much better options.

Lemon chicken was not edible, nor the spring rolls and worst Chinese sausage I have ever had. All in all awful.

Prawn dumpling were beautiful and the soya sauce was very nice also had the chicken and corn soup. No complaint at all will be back.

Choose from Menu, Dumpling list with a huge range of saucers or the $13 lunch with rice menus. Food was amazing, I've never had such a great Satay.

Inauthentic experience. Not even "sort of" Chinese. If one can't order/get plain rice, then it begs belief. Dumplings were fully cooked, but luke warm in the centre (probably cooked earlier then reheated). This venue is an embarrassment - Bendigo has a history of Chinese influence, and BDH is a slap in the face.

Had the salt and pepper fish and it was to die for. Grandkids devoured the dumplings and this place is great value and a must to eat at. Thank you!!

I really like the food and have been eating here since it open But my family of 4 tried to come in for lunch today at 1:50pm and and were told that we could not sit down to eat because they close at 2:30, we are not the only ones who have been told this and we’re a bit irritated considering everything says you close at 2:30 not 2. Can we please have a definite answer on the closing time instead of being knocked back when you aren’t even near closing time.

The taste of home cooked dumplings from a restaurant is always a surprise, and the traditional Aussie Chinese favourites we ordered were all delicious - flavoursome, fresh and tasted clean, not greasy. We ordered vegetarian dumplings, fried rice, sizzling pepper honey steak, chicken satay skewers and shallot pancakes I’d come here again when passing through Bendigo on a road trip
