Awesome spicy sweet potato and pumpkin soup served with yoghurt and lovely flatbread. Thoroughly 'hit the spot' for weary travellers hankering for a meal mid afternoon. Great decor, terrific ambience, quirky decor .... all in a terrific little precinct in Bendigo. Highly recommend 10/10

My daughter and I were in Bendigo for the Edith Head exhibition and had the most delicious breakfast, the staff were so welcoming and friendly. we will definitely return next time we visit Bendigo.
I love the freshly prepared breakfasts there by the best breakfast chef in Bendigo. Loved the TLC that i can taste in her cooking, fast service and warm ambient cafe to gather your thoughts before the day start

Amazing food and an interesting menu! The staff were very friendly and helpful and we loved the relaxed, eclectic atmosphere. Will definitely come again!
Nice wholesome food. Love that they use local produce. Fresh cakes and nice little menu. Very small place with a vintage feel. Nice place for a coffee with friends.
Very nice atmosphere, good service and delicious food. We loved the potatoe, leak and asparagus soup. It's an interesting choice for having breakfast or lunch.
Likes it. Good food and coffee , friendly staff and cool decor..great location. Reasonable prices. What more could one want !
Funky little cafe in a great location. Had lunch with my husband here on a Wednesday. I ordered the pumpkin and goats cheese tart, my husband ordered the quesadilla. Not a very long wait for food and when it arrived both plates looked gorgeous! It all tasted great, too!
Service was very good and efficient (seemed to be just the one waitress). A nice laid back and comfy feel to the whole place.
Very much looking forward to returning.
Gorgeously colorful &homely cafe with friendly staff. The menu is limited but unique &fresh &the flavors are amazing.
What a little beauty! Love .... What a little beauty!
Love this place! Definitely one of the best places to go when visiting Bendigo.
Very cute and quaint, lots of great reading material and a laid back vibe.
Menu is not huge but have tried alot of things on the menu and have yet to be disappointed. Such generous serves and such hearty meals!
Coffee was perfect and the staff are continuously friendly and fun. (really love their aprons!)
Perfect way to start the day!. I would have to agree with the majority of these reviews in saying that this cafe is one of a kind! I was fortunate enough to enjoy El Beso and all of its character when we travelled to Bendigo to view the Grace Kelly exhibition early last month. Having a background in hospitality, I could see that their was a positive vibe about the place. I settled for the ham, cheese and tomato toastie (sounds boring I know...!) but for $9.50 it was worth every penny. Generously sized, full of flavour, served on turkish bread and a massive side of salad. My wife ordered the smoked salmon bagel, it was fresh, and again generously sized. The coffees were great, so we both had to get 2. We will definitely back next time we're in Bendigo.
Love love love thier coffee! One of the best blends in town!
The best coffee and scrambled eggs in town! Great atmosphere with lots of quirky character, and very friendly staff. I will definitely be back
Funky Cafe. Had a delicious lunch here after visitng the Bendigo Art Gallery. Ordered the (weird sounding but delicious) marinated tofu and peanut butter sandwich salad. The cafe's interior is decorated with all sorts of interesting bits and pieces, the staff managed to be relaxed and efficient and the menu had several things on it that I needed to have. I will be going back to try the breakfast (that finishes at 12).
Best breakfast in Bendigo!
Quirky cafe cum gift store. Well worth the visit
Thankful El Beso has the best coffee for home brewing in town! Nothing compares.
Love sitting out the back at this cafe! It's so secluded and for a moment doesn't feel like you're on one of the main streets of Bendigo. If you just want to relax and enjoy good food, coffee and company - don't go past El Beso!
Louise & I loved the Pies , Mocha N Cappuccino
Walked away with Lovely Art too … would come back to Bendigo just for these again - (from Newcastle)
Great coffee and the smells wafting from the kitchen smelled delicious, I had just eaten elsewhere so I will definitly to come back. Exploring out the back I discovered a great little sheltered courtyard that was a dry even though today was quite rainy. Clean bathroom available.
We had the most delicious pies and coffee here. So fresh, hot and great service . Highly recommend!
Great friendly service, pies & treat are delish
