I've been off and on with Jojoes over the past 2 years, tonight was absolutely perfect! I ordered the gnocchi and it was so well cooked! Thank you very much! I definitely appreciate the customer service tonight as well, great for a chat! Thank you very much :)

DISAPPOINTING. When you pay these prices you expect the meals to be better than this. What a joke. Bland, dry and the Gluten free penne that should have been fettuccine?! Don’t bother. Sorry to rant but just not happy. Tonight’s order below. Fettucine Carbonara Pasta $26.90 Gluten Free A$4.00 Fettucine Pollo Funghi Pasta $23.90

Friendly, helpful service and very quick. I got what I think is called the Jojoes Special pizza to take away and it was absolutely delicious! I don't know what pizza base they use but it was better than any I have ever had before in taste and texture.

Yummy food, good price. Staff were very attentive and kept making sure we had all we wanted which is hard to find these days. Keep up the good work.

Pretty casual place where you can sit down and get a nice pizza or pasta, however it's a bit pricy for what it is.

Great food and service. Must order the garlic and olive flat bread - topped with beetroot hummus - perfect combination of fresh flat bread with salty olives which match the sweet earthy flavour of the beetroot hummus. Flooded this with a large vegan pizza. Fantastic meal! Good for family, couples and large groups.

Had dinner there last night with my family. Excellent customer service as all the staff were friendly to not only my wife and I but were good with my kids as well. Food was great and quickly served up. Good atmosphere and reasonable prices too. 5 stars deserved! Thanks for a lovely night out!

Excellent Italian restaurant in Bendigo. The restaurant can be quite bustling so you may want to consider booking ahead.

Really nice pasta, pizza and dessert that won’t break the bank. Recommend

Service was friendly and attentive, the starter herb and cheese pizza, was well undercooked. the main pizza Gourmet was terrific , however only one price was listed for their regular size , no price was listed for the larger size. the Papadelle lamb Ragu could have had more meat for the price

There were 5 of us wishing to have coffee and cakes on the 28th of March. Finally after attempting to summon a waiter, he responded rather rudely as he passed by saying "WAIT" !!! we were not impressed at all after waiting for quite awhile. It was just the way that he responded, luckily there was a waitress who had much better manners. However, eventually our order came in dribs and drabs.
Hope that your staff can be properly trained.

I'll keep this short: Overpriced at $50 for two lunches and one coffee), bland food bar the copious amounts of salt they used, and inattentive staff verging on indifference. I've never been to Bendigo before this stop, but I'm sure there are better places you can spend your money. Don't bother with this lot.

Not bad !!!! I like the banana milk shake !
However a fly just kept going fly around us which is make our lunch so busy , may need to do something to keep fly away lol

Loved it- plenty of fresh, healthy, veggie and gluten free options. We dined at Jojoes yesterday before going to see the excellent Marilyn exhibition at the art gallery. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the garden salad was delicious. Lovely staff too.

Not exactly a place I'd return to, too many flies buzzing about plates waiting to be served & with the manager constantly wiping her nose behind the counter & the cook handling noodles without tongs, I'm hugely relieved I'm not suffering food poisoning. Still at $51 for 2 there are plenty of other options in Bendigo for lunch. Waitress very helpful.

While we were looking for out of the box menu for lunch, we chanced upon this place. Though it wasn't 5 pm by the time we arrived, we couldn't order much and had to go some where else. But next day after our much relished lunch, we came back to this place for desserts and coffee.
The place gives you a cozy and warm feeling the moment you enter. Though we didn't order much yet the staff was very friendly and fast in their service. The Chocolate cheese cake was delicious and so was the coffee.
This is one place I would definitely visit next time I go to Bendigo.

Utterly horrific service. I can't even put into words how rude these people are to customers. Unless you enjoy being treated like dirt, I suggest going elsewhere.

Kids eat for Free!!. I was very disappointed with poor advertising regarding kids for free if you dine between 5 to 7pm.
We went to pay our bill and they have charged us for kids meals and I asked why! They said you must empty the table by 7pm. You advertise as order between 5 to 7 not leave by 7. And what worest we left at 7:30, we thought coustmers come first. Not planning to go there again! Please next time ensure at least to inform your customers! Or improve your advertising.

Yeah nah. Went with some friends and enjoyed some delicious gnocchi. The pizzas were really good.
However the girl that served us was a total bitch. Rated herself too highly and spoke to us as if we were nothing.

Love it, hassle free!. Recently visited with the
Family. Good staff and very friendly and kids love it every time! Food fast and tasty young bloke on floor very happy and polite pizza chef had a chat over the counter which was a nice touch asking if we enjoyed the pizza very good team! Although she didn't sound Aussie. Nice to mix it up. We will be back soon for sure!

Awful service. Rang up to book a table for dinner at lunch time, only to be put on hold for 5mins then was asked to ring back in a couple of hours because they were a little busy. Thanks but no thanks. Will not be ever going there again!

Disappointing. Very disappointed in not only the lack of service, but the meals were ordinary.
Had to ask for children's desserts three times, meals were incorrect, and poorly presented, beer was out of stock.. Over all extremely disappointing on all levels.
Will not be returning

Terrible service matched by very average food. Thought I'd dine outside at jo joes todoy because it was a beautiful sunny day. It was about 1pm so I sat on one of the tables outside. Decided to order the tandoori chicken pizza. The pizza arrived pretty quickly. The waitress just plonked it on the table and walked away. Here I was with just a pizza on a wooden servery board. No plate, knife, fork, salt or pepper. The pizza didn't contain the fresh coriander and mint which was in the menu description which was a huge disappointment. Any way I decided to use my fingers since they were invented before forks. The pizza was ok but lacked the herbs. It was at that point it fell off their gourmet pizza menu and became a dominoes pizza I could have cooked at home.

Upon finishing it was obvious there was no napkin on the table as well. Decided to just go in and pay to finish the experience. $18 for a 7-8" pizza and crap service wont be bringn' me back as a local. It had been about 10 years since eating there. It was obvious there were no management present with just two young teenage girls running front of house.

Lunch with 3 and 1 year old. Staff were friendly and genuine
Kids well catered for with colouring activities and dough which was later cooked for my 3 year old and returned as bread.
Meals seemed huge and delish.

Worst Pizza Ever !!. It had been a long time since we had a Pizza from jojoes so thought we should give them another try ....
My god how we regret our decision , being a Monday night we thought they would be quiet but we're surprised that they said it would be an hour wait , we ordered a Half Aussie/Capricciosa with extra salami and egg on the Aussie and also for the Pizza to be could for extra time as we like it crunchy ...
To our surprise the Pizza arrived within half an hour , and that's when the horror started as when we opened the box we did not which half was which and to make it worse the Pizza was soggy and looked liked it had not been cooked enough let alone for extra time , their was no extra Salami nor was there egg on the Aussie and it was just smothered in horrible cheese !!! never again and nor would I recommend it to anyone .

Abysmal customer service. We were driving to Bendigo from Melbourne and on the way checked their website for the menu. Nope, "website undergoing a facelift". Not even a pdf of their menu. I rang, said my name, mentioned I hadn't ordered from their menu and ordered two MEDIUM pizzas. The woman who answered seemed to be in crazy hurry, interrupted me twice, and at the end asked for my name. We were 45 minutes away from Bendigo and requested pickup for that time. When we got there a few minutes late, we still had to wait for ten minutes, along with four other people who also seemed to have phoned ahead. The restauant itself was empty, except for four or five staff - it was a Monday night.
What annoyed us was that Jojoes have only two sizes of pizza, regular ( which are small) and large. What annoyed us even more was the big sign on the wall that said for an extra $3 we could upsize from regular(small) to large.
Having a sixteen year old son who has a healthy appetite, we would have liked to have known what sizes they offer and any special deals they have.
Seems to be a tourist trap since they don't train their staff to any degree.
Pizza 2.5 out 5
Service 0 out of 5
Will not be back.

Pleasantly surprised with the kid's stuff provided, including colour pencils, colouring paper, and a pizza dough to play with and shape, which later goes to the oven to eat! Service was kind/pleasant and pretty quick. Portion size is decent. We ordered the pizza and the pulled lamb souvlaki, and the fettuccine carbonara for the little one, and they were all well cooked and taste good. Kids meal (although only costs $10, includes meal, drink, and dessert) are free if you also buy a main and pay by 7pm (kitchen opens at 5pm). Certainly happy with our meal and dessert (tiramisu) was nice and quite large too.

Terrible. Just waited over an hour and 20 minutes for our pizza and it was sloppy and undercooked. Really disappointed. Won't be ordering from here again.

I've been here twice. Once with a large group on a very busy night. Reserved table for 5:30. Took advantage of the kids eat free offer but only just got in under the cut off time (must be out by 7pm) because the service was a bit slow. Pizza was fantastic!! Kids menu came with a tick box menu for kids to chose main, drink & dessert. Apart from slightly slow service it was a pleasant experience. Second visit was a late lunch, very quiet. Very quick service. Kids got a piece of pizza dough to mould each which was then baked to take home. We made a dinosaur! Had marinated chicken calzone this time. The dough was just the right balance of light & chewy. The chicken etc inside were delicious. Lemon lime & bitters was a little sweet. Over all I would recommend and there is a good chance I will go back next time I find myself in Bendigo and hankering after pizza!

Very slow with service for only coffees. Not recommended for a quick coffee

Service was so slow, took us long time to be serviced drinks. Ages to get our meals. We mainly had pizza it was nothing to brag about. I wouldn't be back only due to such slow service took us 1 hour to get our pizzas and it wasn't even busy..

My wife and 2 year old son and I tried Joe Joes for the 5pm-7pm kids eat free time. We heard that the kids get the free meal plus some pizza dough to keep them happy while dinner was on its way. We arrived at 5:15pm with no one else there. We were met and seated quickly. We were offered the high chair which we accepted. Out came the pizza dough and our son was happy. 10 mins later we were asked our food order including our sons meal but no high chair.. At the time of ordering we didn't order drinks so we asked a waitress who took our order. My wifed ordered a shiraz however out came a white wine. It took 20 mins for the high chair to arrive at our table and that was after a second request. From there we waited for 40 mins for a pasta, burger and pizza to arrive. others who came in just after us and had also ordered were still waiting for meals and drinks. Our meals arrived and the burger was half cooked. Still meat was bright blood red in the middle. By now having waited for 40 mins our son was over the wait. For an establishment that 'spins' the family time did a very poor job in meeting its commitment to encourage families. While the novelty of the dough is great its disappointing meals were slow and to some extent and considering it had just started service, some staff didn't not seem welcoming. For this price of the food I expected better service and quality. Sloppy Joes - no go!

Slipping Away!. Once a favourite of ours..JoJoes has certainly slipped...After being wedged between 2 large groups (when place was only half full!)..we asked to be moved outside...Service (or lack of it) was laughable, although one young waitress did try her best. We ordered bread before our pizza's and after an eternity we were delivered bread, that had gone straight from the freezer, to the oven and onto a plate!...First bite, yep still semi frozen..we sent it back and waited another 20 mins for another bread, this time only just edible...our pizza arrived a short time later and the disappointments kept coming!!...overdone pizza with burnt crusts, lacking flavour and depth that you would expect to get from the supermarket....on leaving and paying, we were asked by the young waitress "did we enjoy our meals".The blunt answer was "no", in fact it was rather poor, as to which the girl just gave a blank stare of surprise.Once one of Bendigo's enjoyable experience's, it seems it has become all about turning over the numbers, at the expense and quality of food and service...will never return!!

My wife and I came in on New Year's Eve with our 6 month old. The place was booked but they made space for us. The service was brilliant and the food came out quickly. The food was good and relatively cheap. My wife had the satay chicken and loved it, chicken was moist and sauce was perfect.

Tasty pizza and well topped. Got takeaway but would go back.

Service appalling. The food is quite palatable although menu needs to be updated more regularly. We have given Jojoes the benefit of the doubt a few times but...
Sarah
Jojoes. We came her on a Sunday for lunch and the restaurant only had a few people..after being seated we waited forever for the waitress to come back to take our order in fact I had to go up to the counter to ask if I could make an order...then we had no cutlery and had to get that ourselves..food was great I love the gnocchi however I'm not sure I'd go back given the service was so terrible especially considering how quiet they were.

We walked out after sitting for 30mins waiting for menus in an unbusy restaurant. This is the first time I have ever done this. Disappointed and won't be back.

The last two times I went the calimari was undercooked. The time before the salmon pizza was dry and salty

Whole experience was good. But the dessert calzone was worth the 200km drive.

Excellent pizza. Good gluten free options (except no gf pizza). Service friendly if a little slow. Coffee could be better: flavour okay but long black too long.
