Review Tandoori Mahal - Bendigo

I stopped in here on my way home from work for a takeaway treat. I ordered a lamb rogan josh $14.90. I was asked if I wanted rice, I said yes please. I expected it would come as a meal but no it was separate and now $19.80. More than I expected to pay, then it was a 30 minute wait with only 3 tables of couples in the restaurant. The container came out full to the brim but when I got it home there was hardly any meat and full of juice, not even a sauce. The rice was bland and I usually love Indian rice. Really disappointed.

Excellent food and friendly staff..Best Indian selection with high quality of food. The place was beautiful so inviting..Curries and naan breads were amazing ..taste great. We will definitely visit again. Very Homely atmosphere. Best indian food in town.👍🏻😊

Food was OK 6/10 Maybe a 7. Service good no waiting between courses. Very quiet but it was a Monday night. One negative that I asked to have fixed was they had this bloody song track on replay from the moment I walked in until I could bear it no more and aske for it to be turned off. Indians and music. NOT a good match!

Third time we have visited and will keep returning. The staff are very kind. I take my 88 year old mother for lunch and they couldn't be more helpful. We have enjoyed the samosas, mango lasi, dosas, briyiani, and delicious curries. Excellent and very tasty food. Special Thank you to Kim

Dhosa hut is worth taking your taste buds to. I had some take away butter chick. It was a bit too sweet but lovely and hot though. Excellent customer service. They're all about pleasing the customer!

Very poor customer service they literary said no to me when i reach there for a lunch around 1:40pm( there closing time is 2pm). Then when i said its not 2pm yet. Then she said ok come on in ( with a really rude sound). Food was ok till i realise its a hair in salad. Will never go there again. Worst experience in indian restaurent then ever.

Just had home delivery. Food came within 40mins with a smile. Goat was sooo tender and sauce sensational. Prawn dish just as delicious. Do yourself a flavour Bendigo.

Great service, menu and food. The butter chicken was the best I've had. Also the nann bread.

Had a great Indian dinner tonight. Loved the butter chicken. We will be coming back for it again. Service was prompt and we are not leaving hungry.
