Review Bathlane Bakery And Coffee House - Bendigo

The Bath Lane Cafe had a great atmosphere. It also had the highest standard of adherence to Covid Safe standards I’d encountered anywhere. The service was quick and professional, and the food was tasty. I was dining with my mother, and unfortunately whoever was making the coffees got both our coffee orders incorrect. That was slightly disappointing as when our order was taken it was read back to us, and was taken correctly. The breakdown was at the point of whoever made the coffee, not being careful when reading the order, and making the coffee. I’d certainly go back. It was a nice venue.

Nice little coffee shop tucked away in one of the backstreets of Bendigo. Staff were pleasant and the food was hot, tasty and plenty of it. We ordered the big breakfast. As you can see by the photo, the plate was overflowing with delicious food and it only cost $20. Great value for money. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the area. We'll be back.

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful,v Run off their feet and still had a smile and was very hospitable. First time I have ever been anywhere that has a great range and taste of gluten free options. Next time I'm in Bendigo I'll be coming back for here for sure.

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Coffee just a bit hot to be perfect but good all the same and, served in a glass not plastic coated cardboard like most places I tried in Bendigo. Barista Gemma (darling) happy and whistling but isn’t in tune at all. Doesn’t matter. She’s happy and it contributes to a good atmosphere.

I have to compliment the owner/manager on the positive vibes she brings to this cafe. Such a welcome and willingness to make our day (and that of other customers) a happy one! We stayed in Bendigo for 4 days and observed a shortage of hospitality staff across the board. Our wait times were perfectly reasonable, food was very good and coffee excellent! Owner even offered to turn the music down a little when I commented my aged father is deaf and had trouble with the noise level. Everyone should treat our hospitality staff with respect. They're really doing it tough and a little understanding will go a long way. Go Bath Lane Cafe...we love you XX

Rude and incompetent!!! I used to come here often but the service and quality of the food has gone down terribly. I ordered a chicken schnitzel burger with chips and the chicken was just a cheap processed nugget and the burger was obviously slopped together. Had one bite and it was disgusting. Told staff I wasn't happy and got berated by the waitress who took the burger but refused to refund or offer something else. While my partner was still waiting for his meal, the staff were making snarky comments in earshot. I left my partner in the cafe because he was still waiting for his meal. When he came back to the car he still hadn't been served........50 minutes later! He finally got a refund for his meal but they complained about it and tried to short change him. Completely unprofessional and a waste of time.

Owner of the Bath Lane Cafe who was serving behind the counter was very rude. Eight of us went in for breakfast, then realised she was on her own, and serving another small group of people plus taking take-away orders. We asked if we were too many for her and her comment was sarcastic and rude so we left. We went next door to the Green Olive. The lady there was warm and welcoming. The owner from Bath Lane Cafe came in and started the abuse again. Ignoring her we sat down to order our breakfast. Found out that the sarcastic owner owns both cafes. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I ordered the Eggs Lumberjack, with pancakes with maple syrup, two beautifully cooked eggs, lashings of bacon and a hash brown. Nearly had to roll me out the door but was all too good to leave a crumb. Fantastic cappuccino also. Great staff, great music and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Do not reccommend the fermenting ketchup I was served this morning.
