We get takeaway delivered from here all the time, the food is the best Indian around. The spring rolls are amaaaazing.
We dined in at the restaurant for the first time tonight, and the food was even better piping hot. Don't be scared off by the plain decor of the place.

One of the best value Indian restaurants in the Bentleigh area. Ordered Lamb Rogan Josh and Kashmiri Naan and despite the app saying it would be a 40 minute wait, the food arrived after 20 minutes.
The Rogan Josh was delicious, the gravy was a nice consistency and there was plenty of tender pieces of lamb. Very enjoyable.
The Kashmiri Naan was disappointing though. It’s a large serve but unfortunately it felt and tasted undercooked and doughy. The fruit/nut spread inside was okay, not the best I’ve had but still flavoursome.
Overall a good choice and I would order from here again.
The samosas are tasty, the chicken tikka flavorsome if a touch salty and the lamb vindaloo hits the spot with the spicy flavour. Naans are a generous size too. A very enjoyable meal.
If you want a consistent tasty curry try here, have had take away so many times and it never fails to please. Raju special is full of flavour and all very reasonably priced.
There's a reason why it's called the chefs special. Rajus Special Goat Curry is a must try, I suppose you need to be feeling adventurous as goat is seldom on people's list, but that's what keeps me going back. My husband also enjoys their Chicken Butter Cream and their Chicken Briyani is delicious! I wish they had some better vegetarian dishes though. But always a satisfying meal from Rajus.
Ordered Palak Chicken, chicken korma and mushroom paneer. Firstly, the order was delivered ahead of the quoted time. Good start. The lady delivering the food did not call me or knock on the door but kept banging the main door outside, thankfully i heard it and went out to check what was that about. Coming to the food korma was pretty good although had a bit too much cardamom in it. Palak chicken was good as well. Mushroom paneer was ok, nothing too special about it. Got some complimentary papadums which was good as well.
Wonderful service, the staff were very friendly and helpful! Said that if I wanted anything that wasn't on the menu, they would be happy to make it for me if they could.
Very reasonably priced and great food!
I will definitely be coming back!
Highly recommended for every who want try Indian food. Food was very tasty and delicious. The service was pleasant and good. I tried butter chicken and manggo lassi, that is my favorite menu and I love it.
Food was good, service is pleasant, would definitely come again with the family.
We came early around 18:15 and the place was still empty, but by the time we left an hour later it was full.
The owner approached us couple of time and spoke with us and the kids.
Butter Chicken and Mango Chicken. Chaar griledl chicken tikka pieces cooked in tomato-based creamy sauce simmered and garnish with fresh corriender and almond flakes.

A++. Amazing food... Good ambiance..
Rajus has the most amazing food of any Indian restaurant I have ever tried! It is delicious and the staff are so lovely! I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. I've also taken many friends here and they are all now regulars as well!
BEST INDIAN FOOD EVER! Great service and very friendly staff.
Amazing!!. I had tried many Indian restaurant around Melbourne. However tonight I was surprised by the food I ate in this restaurant. This is my first time I had a dinner in this restaurant; and only one word can describe my experience tonight. it was YUM!!!..
Yes their restaurant was not so flashy or comfy. Their service also average.
But you must try their Mango Chicken, it was amazing. But wait till you try their Butter Chicken.... For me those are the best in town.
When you managed to pass by Dandenong Rd around the Springvale have a try to had dinner in this restaurant and trust me you will craving to come back for the second time.
Good Indian Food. Normally I find I can get Indian food which taste the same or better at the local food court. However Raju's is an exception. Food was fantastic, fresh, generous portions and came out piping hot.
Naan was top notch. Would definitely return. Need to try out the desserts.
Review. The food at Raju’s Indian Restaurant appears simple, but the flavors have remarkable depth. Indian food is known best for its spices, and the reputation is well deserved. The food is excellent! The menu is significant & varied so dining there just once is not an option. You will need to keep coming back to sample more of their fantastic dishes. The food is amazing, fresh, with perfectly balanced spices. The food was proper authentic food and cooked well, it is nice to see so many different unique dishes. The shop is both clean and tidy - despite having limited space, more customers than can fit inside at one time, and all the staff members there greeted my companions and me with smiles. I would thoroughly recommend Raju’s Indian Restaurant to anyone with a sweet tooth. I know I'll certainly be returning soon.
Good quality and authentic.... I don't have Indian that often, so when I do I make sure it is good quality and authentic - Raju's is definitely that - great flavours, great selection and just a pleasant environment for dining. Service was fine and meals came out quickly. I'll be back for my dose of Indian again, soon.
Always good food, service and good prices
The onion bajhis are delicious, the butter chicken is amazing. The service is excellent. Do yourself a favour and get down there.
Mouth watering!. Look no further - if you want fresh, hearty and super tasty Indian food, you will get everything you hoped for and more. I live in the city and make a trip out at least once every couple of weeks to Raju's just to get my fix - trust me, its worth the travel to the South East just to get home-style authentic Indian.
Unlike other Indian restaurants, you do not leave this restaurant feeling heavy and not wanting Indian cuisine for the next 6 months. Extensive menu offered so they accommodate all of your favorite curries as well as spicy tolerance. I have tried everything and the potato naan is to die for - I can't recommend my favourite curry because they are all seriously good. Just TRY your favourite and i promise your search for amazing Indian is over.
Ambience is relaxed, family dining atmosphere - venue is perfect for large parties. I have had a handful of friends host their engagement parties and birthday parties here - they booked the whole place out - its the perfect size and parking is so easy!
Superb meal. This is my fifth year since I first ate at Raju's Indian Restaurant. No matter how many times I tried, their Butter Chicken, Chicken Madras and Aloo Paratha (potato naan) were simply the best. There are no other comparison out there that can even close close. The prices were very reasonable and talking about great service! Words doesn't justice and I recommend to anyone to go and visit Raju's Indian Restaurant to taste what truly Indian food is like
Delicious Indian Food. We have been there for the last 10 years, and we love those tandoori platter. Most tastiest naan and the crispy samosa. Those fragrant safron rice was divine. Yummmy and great service. Great ambience
Great taste and affordable price indian dishes. Went there yesterday and surprised by the quality of the food. Tried chicken butter cream, lamb cutlets, and tandoori chicken, they are all fantastic. The naan I ate there was probably the best naan i ever eat! comes with friendly price as well :D
Yummy Indian indeed! Have been going to Raju's since it opened 11 years ago and have always enjoyed it. It's a consistent performer and my takeaways are always ready within about 25 minutes ordering. Favorites are Butter Chicken, Prawn Mali and Dahl Makhani.
Good Indian. Went to Raju's for the first time last week, definitely will go back. We went there to celebrate a birthday so we ordered the banquet. Other than the samosa being too oily, every dish was perfected, Great flavors, generous size, perfect naans very light and plenty of poppadums. We went for the early bird half price special so it was great value, this allowed for some extra beers :) .
Absolutely my favourite restaurant in Melbourne! The food is amazing everytime and the staff are lovely. Have been going here for about 10 years and have never been disappointed.
Amazing. Best indian I have ever had! Fresh breads, succulent meats and creamy authentic sauces. Absolutely in love with this place. Best butter chicken I've ever had.
Rahjus never fails for great Indian food. Dining in is great too. Take out is fast!
Best indian ever. Very nice indian always perfect cannot give one fault!
Great food. Really one of the best Butter chicken and Lamb Rogan Josh that I've had. We'll be back for sure. Very friendly staff.
Friendly staff and delicious food. Started with the samosas which were amazing - crisp on the outside with a substantial filling and yummy dipping sauce. We also had the butter chicken and the lamb rogan josh which is the best we've had. The curry is delicious and the lamb pieces meaty and perfectly tender. We paired these with rice and naan. All round a very tasty meal. Great little local. Thanks guys!
I have not been there for a while so I was really looking forward to the food and it didn't disappoint. We ordered the famous butter chicken (extra hot), beef vindaloo, nan and rice and finished dinner with mango lassi... just amazing, definitely hit my curry cravings. Definitely will be going there again.
The best Indian food in Melbourne. Highly recommended 👍
